I did another 55 minute workout DVD today to add to the same amount yesterday. so 110 minutes so far! Still got some catching up to do......

Do you guys include walking in your minutes? Or only things more strenuous? I'm not sure how achy I'll be tomorrow, and want to do something but it'll have to be very low impact, maybe I'll schedule in a swim......

Thanks Melissa! I just think that after the mega workout DVDs walking almost seems like nothing, but you're right, I've got to remember that it's exactly the opposite, it's SOMETHING!

I just really need to banish the days where I sit at my desk all day and that's it. So if it's walking or swimming, I hope to post back here tomorrow with some more minutes to add!

I think a lot of people think like that. That if it isn't hard, it doesn't count. But, some of the healthiest and fittest people I know a daily walkers. And I don't mean speed walks. Just people who make sure they move every day.

90 mins on the stairmaster??!! Dang lady! You are my hero!

And to think I did 20 mins on it for the first time on Monday and felt accomplished!

65 mins walking today. And blooming heck am I sore from the workouts on Monday and Tuesday!

So, 110 + 65 = 175 minutes so far or 2 hours 55 minutes

Keep it up everyone! Can't wait until I'm fitter (and richer!) and can mix it up more! Bring on the summer too, working out outdoors right now isn't fun, as I found today!

You arre all doing great! I finally got my butt I gear today and did two express classes - one strength training and one step class. Tomorrow I'm doing yoga for the very first time. I'm a bit intimidated!

2.5 hours since Sunday for a total of 9.5!
berryblondeboys I am also planning on a yoga class for the first time tomorrow! I'm also nervous, my husband is coming with me though so that helps. Have fun at your class!

Too funny, my husband is coming with me too. I figure I need moral support. I have like zero flexibility and I've always been that way. He's naturally limber. I figured it will at least make for a good laugh and I should worry about increasing my flexibility! It will be a great class after strength and step yesterday. I'm a bit sore!

BerryBlondeBoys & Seashell84It will be interesting to hear what you ladies think of yoga. I've never had any interest in doing it, butttttt, since getting the class list for my gym yesterday, I saw yoga made a lot of time slots I could do, so I might just give it a go too.

Or, perhaps I'll join beginners pilates class, as I'm really badly aligned since breaking my collarbone and ribs as a kid, and would love to sort my posture out! Not committing to anything just yet though!

My new exercise for next week will be spinning class, booked on for next Thursday, hope it's not too hard!

Today so far I've done 25 minutes of swimming, but am about to go to my mates for a DVD workout session, so will add all my minutes on later!
