literally just finished day one! OMG! I am sitting here huffing and puffing (and that is after the cooldown) I did my 3 mile walk at 5:30 had some breakfast and decided to jump right into the DVD. I have to say it kicked MY butt! but I am going to do this challenge no matter what. Yikes...30 days of this, I hope I am still able to move after today. LOL.

also, when do we start level 2? I barely made it through level 1.

Have a great day everyone!

you do each level for 10 days!

i have just finished level 1, so start level 2 tomorrow, i watched it so i knew what i was letting myself in for and it looks soooo hard.

I am starting to feel slightly fitter, i wont weigh myself until sunday though so not sure of any weight lose yet, there was none in the first week at all.

I have been following every shred with a 500m swim then lunch.

congrats to every1 who has made it this far and good luck with level 2, i think we might need it.

So even though it was late, i completed day 2 at 10pm last night I didn't want to break my promise to do 30 days without stopping. I'm even trying to figure out how i can get it in for the day with going to Las Vegas on Sunday. Level 1 Day 3 after work tonight!

*sigh* I'm gonna have to drop out of this challenge.

I sprained my ankle really bad tonight so no more 30DS till its all healed up. This makes me so angry because I was doing so good with diet and exercise and having the weight come off. The doc said I could do a lot with just food intake but I was enjoying getting all strong and full of stamina. Feeling so depressed right now. At least its not broken though...

Just did level 2 for the first time, not fun. about 4 of the exercises are in the plank position, i cant do the blank position lol, i had to substitute a few things today but hopefully i will get better within the next few days.

i did 800m swim afterwards instead of my usual 500 as i felt so bad for not being able to do the dvd to the letter. it makes level 1 feel easy. i was so happy to see how much natalie was sweating, she is human after all.

good luck to every1 else starting level 2 today!!

Ok, I am re naming this challenge to the 30 days of dred! Oh my gosh...I was really hurting this morning when I got up, but I did my walk and the 30 DS..(pat pat pat on the back) so I am level 1 day 2. Yipee 28 more days to go. LOL.

rvyerthon...why not just do the weights from a comfortable position.. Just modify, don't give up. you can still do the ab work too.

atta girl! I bet walking with crutches is a workout in itself. How did you sprain your ankle? I sprained my ankle in HS, years ago, to this day, it is much weaker than the other ankle. If I am not careful, I could sprain it again, just by slightly turning it. I was in a cast for a month from that sprain and it wasn't fun. I hope you feel better soon.

Ry - Sorry about your ankle and the crutches. Lemons, Lemonade --> Hope your arms get really toned up from it at least.

Just finished lvl 2 for first time (day 11). Wasn't a fan of lvl 1 but I lvl 2. Great core & back workout and plyo was fun!

Good luck everyone on all lvls! Just a suggestion - You guys might want to do an additional warm-up and cool down. I don't understand why JM skimps with a high-impact workout.

Thanks guys

Actually I'm noticing the time I was working out my arms is coming in handy now lol.

We heard a loud sound last night so I went to go investigate and just stepped down wrong and my ankle just twisted sideways. I'm really lucky it didn't break. I refuse to let this derail my weight loss efforts though...I'll sit in a chair and punch if I have to...

Caela, I couldn't agree more. I liked the level 1 workout and I really like level 2, but I DESPISE JM's warmup and cooldown "stretches". After day 1, I started doing my own warmup run (1-2 miles) then brief stretches before the 30DS workout, and after the workout I do my own longer cooldown with stretches that work for me. I wholeheartedly believe in injury prevention this way.
