Hi everyone :)
Today I plan on having a long exercise session. I want to do a cardio and ab workout this morning, and then this afternoon disc 27 of STS. Hopefully, I can fit it all in.

great job girls!!

mini workout before dinner: :ebike: exercise bike - 11 minutes. level 10. 0.25 miles, 28 calories burned.

Hey girls ! Everyone is doing GREAT so far this month :cheer:

So today I did a 3 mile walk at home (did mile 1 twice)

Although just a quick rant....
My friend just said today that she has lost 16 pounds so far. We both started working out at around the same time and she's always weighed less than me. She said she stopped working out over a month ago (she only did the slim in 6 video for about 6 weeks) and over the last 2 weeks she has been ordering pizza almost 3 times a week ! So I'm wondering if she's totally lying ???? I guess I just don't get it because she should be losing at a slower pace since she's only 165. but I've lost 9lbs. so far, So her 16lbs seems like a lie... I'm fine with my 9lbs lost so far that's why it doesn't seem right when she has stopped working out, ordering pizza but yet she lost 16lbs ?

Sorry for the babbling rant I just feel a little set back.

that is VERY bizzare!!! if shes stopped working out and is eating pizza, which is like 400 calories PER SLICE! well depends if its a meat pizza.

but i guess we dont know if shes really not exercising, and how much of the pizza she's actually eating. who knows! if she is telling porkies, that is just sad, cause whats the point. i wouldnt waste your energy thinking about it.

you're doing the right and healthy way! 9lbs lost is awesome!!! if you lose weight slowly. you EARN that weight loss, and it will be harder to gain it back. dont compare your weight loss with her anymore. compare yourself with yourself. that's all. you will get there, but by making good food choices and exercising, you will be healthier for it.

i guess everyones body is different! and who knows what plan she is following.

great job on the 3 mile walk! :bravo:

She has straight up told me that she wasn't working out any longer, almost everytime we talk she makes the statement of how she hasn't worked out in weeks.

And I can't thank you enough for the pep talk. I really needed that!
I try not to compare, but I find myself being a bit competitive. Although being competitive with someone that seems to always exaggerate the truth is not healthy for me, I should've known better.

Thank you, you are awesome :)

awww thank you so much , so nice of you to say! and you are so welcome!! i'm so happy i could help out!!

well sooner or later, her NOT exercising is gonna catch up to her!! exercising is the best way to keep healthy! and not only for just losing weight. you become stronger and have more energy. not to mention those endorphins.
i almost get the impression she's "braggin" about the fact that shes NOT exercising. which is like so bizzare! on the contrary she should feel the opposite!!

her statement probably is just a way to let out her insecurity, that maybe she's insecure or jealous of your ability to motivate yourself to exercise.

competiion is great! but difficult when the person you're competing with , is not on the same page as you.

at the moment i'm competing with myself hehe.
why dont you set yourself a goal for the week , like number of minutes of exercise you wanna get done, or miles you wanna walk. and see if you can reach that target, and tell us how you're coming along! i find it a great way to focus my mind and motivate myself.

you can make yourself a fitness ticker! i just did it today.

Oh gosh you're so wonderful ! What a motivator you are :)

That is great idea, I am going to do that !!! Making weekly goals would be really good for me, now I'll just try to figure out what goal would be realistic but at the same time push me to get it done. I guess over the next few weeks I'll just adjust it so that it's a good goal and not way too much or way too little :)

Thanks for the great idea Echo !

i saw some girls on the forum with the exercise fitness ticker - but didnt ever think of getting one for myself until our first biggest loser challenge was listed. we had to declare our goal minutes for the week. so i thought jillian always says to do 60 minutes a day. so just used that as a goal workout. :D

After skipping out yesterday, I hit the treadmill this evening for 30 minutes and did 5 minutes of free weights.
