    Anyone here like kundalini yoga?

I was on 3fc in 2003-2004... I'm coming back to try again.

    Take care,
    Sherry
  • Welcome back, Suzie! I remember you.. I also was here in 2004 and started coming back a lot more around December.

What's kundalini yoga? I love yoga, but I only take the pedestrian, standard classes at my gym. I've always wanted to join a yoga studio but for now I can't.

  • Hi Dana,

Here's a link with a short explanation of kunadlini yoga:

    http://www.raviana.com/about.html

In kundalini yoga you are continually moving instead of holding poses.

Glad to see you, too! Thanks for the welcome back.

    Take care,
    Sherry

  • Today's activities:

    30 minutes Low Impact Aerobics
    30 minutes High/Moderate Step Aerobics
    5 minutes Stretching
    5 mintes on Crunches.
  • 45 minutes running 6.4k...
  • Two classes at the gym tonight! Step aerobics and bodysculpting -- a total of an hour and 45 minutes.

I thought the step class would be hard, because the instructor said it was intermediate (and there were complicated combos in her routine), but apparently running has SERIOUSLY built up my cardio endurance. I found myself having to jump around and use my arms a LOT to feel like I was getting a workout even though people around me, who always take the class, were sweating and panting like mad. Woohoo!
  • LisaMarie

Today was a 6.4k run... It was a cold, bright and sunny day, loved it...
  • Yay LisaMarie!!

    60 on the elliptical.

  • 10 Minutes Stretching

    50 Minutes Moderate Step Aerobics

    5 Minutes Weights

    Crunches.
  • 5k treadmill run (3.1 miles in 35:30, which is slow for most but fast for me!)
