Hello from Nova Scotia . . .
The temperature has climbed above freezing and all the pretty tree sparkles are melting away. But I really don't mind, this winter (as strange as it may be) has definitely lasted long enough.
I could just strangle all of you for remining me that all the stores have the Easter goodies on the shelves. So far I've resisted, but I know I won't last. I too love chocolate (are there any women that don't). And just like you,
creations and
gmalil , my biggest problem with either Easter treats or even "good" treats is knowing how to stop before the package is completely empty.

I'm trying to plan ahead since tomorrow is my birthday. I know I'll have some kind of eating disaster (but not planning for it to be chocolate) but am hoping to keep it to a minimum.
Bought myself a new scale today . . . another digital. It will probably prove just as temperamental as the old one but it has a slightly bigger place to stand on and I'm hoping that will make me less wiggly when I'm trying to weigh myself. I read somewhere that movement is the biggest deterrent to accurate weight. So far I've gotten the same number out of both of them without too much trouble, although I don't particularly like the number.
Here's a great big, welcoming

for you
msfez. Glad to have you with us and hope you'll be dropping by often. Do you find low carb is working well for your diabetes? My Diabetes Education Centre has always maintained that even a diabetic should be eating about 50% carbs. Is that just being old-fashioned?
Glad to hear you are having a great day,
Rosey. I'm bad this week and am still trying to get the laundry done. Haven't run out of underwear yet, so everything is still OK.
Have a great evening everybody. See you tomorrow.
