Well morning all boy I stayed up way to late last night watching monday nite football. And I'm paying the price now.
But am glad that everyone is on a possitive note and we are looking forward to a good week.
As for me I'mm off to buy books this weekend. Donna I sure hope I don't end up more confused, but I feel like I'm needing some help with this diet thing. When you go to these classes for diabetes they are a little vauge about what you should really do. I'm the kind that needs the 1.2.3. plan.
Rosey glad you had such a good time. Now get your behind back to curves, your doing soooo good.
Rosetta I know what you mean about the bacon. I could have bacon with a side of bacon for breakfast everyday.
Well back to the grind for another day.

Cool

Hi, all. Thanks for the book tip, Donna. I'll look for the Diabetes Solution. All the powers that be are always saying do low fat. that's interesting about the Reglan (I'm taking the generic version). I've wanted to stop taking, thinking in part that if I can't eat much then I'll lose weight. How did you wean yourself from it? I know what you mean about tv and the pc. I manage to not turn the tv on until 9 p.m. but I spend too much time on the pc after work (I don't have one of my own so I stay at the office and use the boss's.) Deb, I know what you mean about the classes. When I went back to check out what the nutritionist had given me, it was only a sample menu. I just re-joined the American Diabetes Assn. and got a booklet full of books they offer, including menu cookbooks and carb and fat counters. There's one weight loss book with a funny title I might get. Add it to my collection.
Rosey -- hope you got some sleep. Must have been a big moose.

Hi everybody,
Well, I went to the chiropractor again today and I am feeling 80% better.
Phew! I thought my back my go out for a while. Who's got time for that.

Deb & Pat, I looked into the Diabetic Solution book today at Barnes and Noble and they wanted $27 and change for it. I found it on line for $18 but forgot to check out shipping and handling. I really don't want to spend that much. I already feel like I spent too much money on unsuccessful dieting. I just keep going with Atkins for now and hope I'm not causing liver problems with too much protein.

Hope everyone else is doing well. Amazing Race finale is on, so I'm cutting this short.

Morning Well things at work are at full tilt. Man I'm ready for this outage to end and it hasn't even started. And you would know, Ivan is back. If this hasn't been the strangest storm season.
Well as far as being op I've been working really hard. And this weekend I'm getting a book. I saw the Atkins for diabetics at Walmart. Hope they still have it this weekend or it's into Baton Rouge to go to Barnes and Noble.
My little daughter will be coming to spend the weekend so I can catch up on all the doctor news for our coming arrival. Hubby haveing dental work done tomorrow. So my hands will be full for a couple of days. But I like to be busy it keeps me from feeling hungry
Rosey keep up the great work at curves. Before you know it those pesty pounds will be melting away.
Everyone have a great day.
