Default the real time is 8:45am Sun

Hi guys!what is GMT? I thougt great mountain time: but what mountain?
Feel sooooo stupid AND tired. Was watching "it's as good as it gets" and in between a little dosing off, I missed key parts to the story so I "didn't get" it.
What was interesting is, that there are such people in neighborhood eating places, just like Jack Nicolson, and Helen Hunt, but they never look that glamourus.
In fact, in my daughters little soda fountain/cafe in Forest Hills NY, people come in by the clock and order stupid things day after day. Sometimes they don't show up and my daughter thinks they died or went to the hospital.
But I don't think you would want to make out with the one who displays compulsive behavior disorder. Usually, those guys don't look like Jack. They look like they can't dress themselves ie:their pants come up under their breast bone and their zippers are half undone.
Honest to God, the busboy saw one fellow {who is a retired Engineer and acted like Jack} pee-ing in the bathroom sink. At times, his brother comes in to have lunch with him and is a professor at NYU.{so go figure}
But not for all the tea in China would I want my lovely daughter to end up infatuated with the local gay artist or the retired excentric, even if he looked like Jack N and was situated with nice bucks.
Well a little humor here and there rather than telling you how bad my leg pain was last night!
Did any one of you guys get such pain that you left your shopping cart in line and walked out?
That's me last night and then no sleep.
happy sunday to all.

Default you guys are slowing down

Hello ladies; I guess everybody is getting ready for the warmer weather or that school is off and you are too busy with the kiddies.
Being retired and living by my lonesome I guess I have more time on my hands.

Have been visiting the sugar busters site and I must say there were a few interesting postings , that either made me laugh or get hurt.
One fellow who sounds like he doesn't have a weight problem called the people over there members of a "cult" and indicated that to lose weight ALL you had to do was cut back on what you eat and presto you would lose weight. he referred to the "oink" syndrome as if all we did was ignore the ADA diet instructions and over eat on cookies and cake etc.

At first I thought HMMM, this is what a lot of people think about fat people or overweight people. So how to handle this for my own 2 cents worth. So I decided to have fun and you know what it was good for me. I didn't hurt anybody's feelings {I don't think} but to those I did I appologized and went on my weigh!!! pun!
Today is bright and sunny after such terrible storms all of yesterday that made me hurt all over this is nice.
need to get a life and get out.
not to easy to do this!
hope you are having fun with family.

Hey Phyllis, if you can't find the new thread (I had trouble with this new forum!) scroll up to the top and click on "general", that will take you to the Main Forum List...click on Dieting With Health Problems and that will take you to Our Forum...then you can just click on Fibro thread #15. I liked it better when they were all in the pop up box at the bottom of the page!
