HELLO LADIES ~ we had lovely sunny weather today; not too hot either, just right! Just stayed home and did stuff around here. We had hoped to go look at a house, but the guy didn't call back, so that just means that it wasn't the right place for us; GOD has a much better one in mind!

HI MEOWEE ~ so sorry you are having back pains and problems; have sent up some prayers for you that it will heal. Make sure you rest up a bit until it has time to repair itself. When I'm not feeling well, I postpone my shopping by a day or two also; getting better is more important!

HEY PURPLE ~ so glad your DAD is feeling well enuff to come home; and sure hope you all will be able to get some sleep soon. The teens are in a volatile stage; troubles can and will occur, esp on a Friday night; but I think it's best to discuss things in the morning when cooler heads can prevail. Not fun for the neighbours, but thankfully, they do all grow up eventually.

HIYA VAL ~ hope you are having a nice, restful long weekend, esp with all that pressure off.

Hi Ladies

Another busy day doing all those little things to prepare for your holidays that you do, plus do the every day activities to fit in hmm I need a few hours more in the day

Dad had a nice little walk with Mum and our little baby Rizzie building his legs up after spending virtually a week in bed. Then he wanted to come shopping with us this afternoon to pick up some bits and pieces. everyone and his grandma came to do their shopping I think. It was so busy it was unbelievable. I would not have normally gone but tomorrow we are going to Kent to do a delivery and that will not leave me anytime to pick up some potatoes to make a Lancashire hotpot. (posh name for a lamb stew ) Which I need to make this dish for having when I have had my treatment this week on Tuesday. So it will be a dish I can put in the oven and forget about it. Then it take it out when we want to eat, as Tuesday is a rather busy day for me.

ROSEBUD Yes you are right we all go through that phase of trying to push the boundaries at that age. Your not quite an adult or a child for that matter. It is a difficult stage to be at, not to mention all those hormones racing around your body. Then all those changes those hormones do to your body.

I still have a little washing to squeeze in but unfortunately the weather has turned and it is raining. It is suppose to turn to thunderstorms later no sign of it at the minute thankfully. It is suppose to rain now for several days. Lets hope that the weather folk have got it all wrong

Time to shift I sure I can find lots more chores to do but first of all I will find another excuse to put work off for a bit longer by having a . Take care ladies will try to get on as soon as I can so until then look after yourselves

HI LADIES ~ we had very hot weather for our last day of August. We went for a drive to scout out a place this afternoon; it had possibilities but the access into the place looked a bit difficult from what we could see; esp for the winter. It wasn't in an area that we'd hoped for, and it was a bit pricey, but we may investigate it a bit more later.

Then later, we went for a drive and took NIKO for a quick swim and I went wading; the water was a bit cool at first. Our favorite swimming spot was filled with campers and people. I forgot it was the last long weekend before the kids go back to school. So, we went to another place, but swimming for people wasn't possible there.

ANYWAYS, we got back home just in time for the crushing truck to come and pick up our old cars; the ones we had before that weren't running anymore. DH was so happy he showed up. He was a day late becuz he is so busy, so we are glad we didn't miss him.

Tonight we just had a quick dinner becuz by the time they were done, it was getting late. We have a lot of work to do over the next while and that was a big load off our minds. Now, we just have to find a place to live ...

HI PURPLE ~ glad your DAD felt well enuff to go for a walk and shopping too! WOW! I don't like shopping on Fridays, esp on a long weekend, becuz the stores are so crowded; and they even run out of shopping carts ~ LOL! Hope you have a great trip tomorrow; that's a good idea to make oven dinners ahead for your treatment days.
