Well, I ended the month with no gain and no loss....stalled. So I am taking that as a good thing. I think these are the times our body adjusts to what we have been doing. I've gotten my exercise done for today making 4 days instead of 3 days of exercises this week. Now if I can keep up my exercise routine up to par and settle into my moderately low carb, low calorie woe into a routine then I can get the scales moving downward again.

I compared the oatmeal fiber with the SLMG fiber and 2 slices of SLMG has 1 more fiber. So I had my eggs, bacon and toast with a grapfriuit and ended up with 7 grams for breakfast. With winter coming up I can still have the oatmeal once in a while but not necessarily everyday. If I remember correctly there are low carb plans that allows oatmeal as well as fruit and I think I would like that type of plan.

I set my fiber goal on MFP for 21. I am going to continue eating semi-low carb and get most of my carbs/fiber from fruits and veggies with a few grains, but I'm not willing to go meatless/plant protein. I've done that before but just not ready to do it again. I think my plan today has 16 g fiber today. Net carbs are over 100 but that is just because I'm working towards fiber so will just try not to eat an extremely high carb diet. We are having Parmesan chicken today. Calories are less than 1200. I am going to keep tracking on MFP because it at least keeps me accountable and exercising.

Carol Sue Y'all have a safe trip to the casino and I hope it will be a good day for y'all.

I hope everybody has a nice day.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Had a good eating day. 2 meals within 7 hr eating window. This has been a good eating and exercise week.

It was a great day at the casino, but I couldn't get DH to leave at a reasonable time. When he's winning he doesn't want to leave, and he risks losing what he won. I'm lucky he doesn't fall asleep driving home. I was exhausted and slept better than usual.

He told me last night that he wants to go out for breakfast. Always the morning after the casino. Then we need to go to Wal-Mart for a few things.

I still feel fat so no scale. I ate too much yesterday and then ended up eating pizza at the casino. True confession time!

Bob Evans had limited seating today because a cook and a server called off. They said it would be 40 minute wait, so we went next door to Eat and Park. Their oatmeal was cheaper plus you got fruit and toast with it. The breakfast DH got was less $ too. But they never brought back sausage and biscuits since the pandemic.

Then on to Wal-Mart where I forgot milk because I didn't have a list. We can get milk anywhere local.

Carol Sue Glad y'all had a good day at casino.

Weight this morning was 187.4 down 1.2 lbs from September 1st. Maybe I should just go from month to month and stop worrying about weekly WIs. I have my plan to keep calories lower than 1500 most days and carbs to a minimum but not extremely low. I will work this month into making my new plan of exercise and eating a regular routine. This month I am also working at becoming organized again. Organization went out the window when Daddy got sick and after he died I never got it back, but it is time to get it done again.

I found it interesting this morning when beautician said that since she has been doing keto for so long she is lactose intolerant and she can't eat a lot of fiber. I think that is another reason I do not want to do keto. BS never was lactose intolerant until she did keto. So now I am wondering if keto or extremely low carb causes lactose intolerance. I enjoy drinking milk and don't want to give it up.

My beautician wants to eventually work from home. She has a building she can turn into a beauty shop and she will be too far away for me to drive. I told her this morning that I notice we have a beauty shop behand the pharmacy out here where I live that I could go to when she is ready to move into her own place. She is already doing extensions on Sunday and Mondays from her home so I wouldn't be surprised if she moves soon. With my new hair do, I won't have to go to the beauty shop all the time like I do now soit won't be a problem.

Hope everyone has a nice day.

I dozed through most of my soaps today. I saw enough to know what went on. I overate, so I'm not eating dinner. I don't know what's wrong with me. DH is picking up a pizza. I am still tired and feel like I could go back to sleep. Maybe I'm dehydrated, as I didn't drink much except my coffee this morning.

Lactose intolerance doesn't sound like fun. I don't eat a lot of cheese and ice cream but I would miss it if I couldn't have it at all. I drink very little milk.

I gained a couple pounds. There, I said it. Its not a fluctuation. I distinctly overate the past few days. Its not fluid, its not a fluctuation. I am back over 190. %?&#@!! So I start again. I do not give up or quit, even though that's the first thought that comes to mind. I start again, although I'm not sure what route I'll take.

I just put a small rump roast in the slow cooker, browned and added a can of mushroom soup. I finally found one small enough for us under $10 with little fat. I know that marbled fat makes it tastier but DH doesn't like to see any fat. He doesn't believe what they say. So I hope it turns out ok and is done by 4 pm. I cook it for 1 hour on high then turn it down to low. I will probably make mashed potatoes and a vegetable. I used all my baby carrots and forgot to buy more. If DH goes out ill ask him to get some. I like to cook them with the roast. I ate scrambled eggs and toast for breakfast and hope to fast until dinner. I plan on getting right back on track and continue losing.

Carol Sue I am up too. My weight was 189 this morning but I know it was from sodium + I was hungry all evening and I snacked on popcorn after my eating window. I already knew I would have a bounce from the sodium in the marinara sauce so adding the popcorn was really asking for trouble. I don't quit either and am back on track this morning.

I ate MG cherrios which will probably go to my little nephews because I didn't pay attention and picked up the one with strawberries in it. It didn't taste as good as the regular. I probably should have just made myself oatmeal but I'm running late on my Saturday chores so the cherrios were faster. I just hope it doesn't mess me up today. I am beginning to think the oatmeal keeps me satisfied longer than the eggs, bacon and toast and not sure how the Cherrios will do. We will see.

Your roast sounds good. I'm sure it will be. I like carrots and potatoes in mine too. We are having home fried swai with corn and salad today.

Have a good day Everybody.

Trish, I'm amazed at how long the oatmeal keeps me satisfied and feeling full. Cold cereal doesn't satisfy me for long at all, but I do like it once in a while. I gave in to the eggs this morning and didn't want to eat the oatmeal too. I want to be hungry when I eat the roast. It shrunk a bit but will still be plenty for both of us, along with some for the dog. DH couldn't wait for dinner so he made French fries. He can't go long without eating.

Carol Sue I haven't decided to eat eggs with my oatmeal either. I don't like cold cereal all the time but do like it once in a while. The only good thing I can say about today is that I ate within my 8 hr window. So I will take that as a good thing.

Good sleep last night! Yay!

Trish, I would like to do what they did in the hospital, a small portion of oatmeal with a small portion of eggs. That was very satisfying for me when I continued cooking my own breakfast at home. But now DH cooks eggs and he cooks too many. Now that I've quit eating eggs, he stopped cooking them. He won't even make them for himself. I don't understand WHY he won't eat unless I'm eating too.

My dinner last night was very good. The mushroom soup gravy was so good I could eat it with a spoon. DH won't even try it. The only gravy he will eat is from a jar or from a mix. I kept all the leftovers. DH won't eat leftovers. I don't know what he will want for dinner but it has to be before 4 pm so he can watch the football game. I can eat my delicious leftovers depending on what he wants.

Increasing fiber has me eating more carbs altogether. That's not good for me. I am eating more starchy carbs, potatoes and bread. They have been a sometimes thing in the past. I need to cut back on that. I think I will eliminate carbs at dinner, and only have them before noon. And I HAVE to stop eating at night!

Right now I am very hungry. Carbs at night make me hungry in the morning. I hope more coffee will hold me over.

Last night I had a dream that we got a post from Fatmad. It seems that she has deserted us. I hope all is well with her.

Yes I have missed Fatmad and wondered how she is doing. She is a person who likes being busy so hopefully things are going well for her.

I have fallen back into night eating and I really must stop that. I think I eat too many carby foods too. I keep tracking but not sure tracking works for me. I did have oatmeal for breakfast but did it like I used to do. A whole serving has always been too much so I cooked 1/3 dry and added the protein shake in place of the water and it tasted pretty good. Oh I also scrambled 1 egg and added it to the oatmeal. Still barely got 70 g protein. I will drink the rest of the protein or add it to the 2nd c coffee. I had apple and a handful of blueberries in it with a little bit of PB and cinnamon. I had it earlier to give me close to a 5 hr eating window. I'm going to make a new rule for myself "NO eating after dinner with usually no eating after 4 or 4:30. When we moved to SC and was thinner, I would never eat anything after 3 pm meal. I want to get back to that.

I'm still not clear about how much protein we should eat and feel I'm eating way too many carbs. Hopefully by eating only 2MAD will be what will work. I thought about BS and how she eats. She thinks the keto is what keeps her thin but I asked her if she still goes all day without eating and she said she has to do that. This makes me thing that it isn't so much what she eats as it is the fact that she doesn't even know that she automatically practices Intermittent Eating. No matter how she ate over the years. it was nothing for her to go all day without eating and I've seen times that it was 7 or 8 at night when she ate but she had not eaten all day long. I think that may the key to her being thin.

Trish, I agree that the not eating all day is what keeps BS thin. However, my friend eats 3 meals plus snacks at night. Her meals are very very small. We would call them snacks. . She eats things like cottage cheese, yogurt, finger salad. She rarely cooks unless her son is coming over for dinner. I told her she is lucky she lives alone and has no one she has to cook for. If I was alone I would be thin but I'm not ready for that! I will continue to work it out with DH.

Son in law is a big eater but step daughter says he only eats dinner. Today is step daughters birthday. She is 53. DH feel very old that his baby girl is 53.

All the pizza dough I had were ruined so I had to throw it out. DH decided we should have chili so that is what we had for dinner today. The plan now is not to eat again until tomorrow.

I couldn't sleep last night so ended up taking an OTC sleeping pill so now as usual, all I want to do is sleep. So will probably sit here and take a nap.

DH just talked to his older brother. He is still in for rehab,,walking with a walker. He was going to get shots in his knees but he tested positive for covid, but he has no symptoms. I don't know if he got it in the rehab center but he probably did. So when he tests negative he will get the shots in his knees.
