Good Morning Leenie,

Just dropped in to say hi; I made whole wheat buttermilk pancakes. Instead of buttermilk I used 1T vinegar with the remainder of the cup filled with 2% milk..saved some calories, hopefully. I binged last night... Hopefully today will be better. At least I have been consistant with the exercise. :/ I am going to Sam's club today to get some produce. They have bananas for .33/pound! (really good bananas also). My mother in law is going to watch the children..that should be nice so I won't have to navigate the Saturday rush with a cartload of little ones. People can be *rude*.

Later Everyone

Good Morning Chickadees!

Leenie - you are just tooooooooo sweet! *smooch* I'm drinking my too - my 2nd cup. YUM!

We got up around 7 and had a cup of coffee, then I fixed pancakes for all the guys. They have a HUGE yard to do today (actually it's more like a ranch) and they have a long day ahead of them (and I have the house to myself - PRAISE THE LORD).

So now they are gone and I'm having my 2nd cup and checking around in there.

Gonna do some picking up and have a pile of 6 clothes started in the laundry room and I'm fixing to do a 2 mile walk aerobics tape - I don't feel like it - bec I still feel kind of croupy but I'm gonna do it anyway - maybe it will help kick this out of my system!

What's everybody else doing today?

oooooooooh jenni - the last time I went to Sam's on a Saturday it was absolutely WILD! I remember when my boys were little it was the biggest thrill to go get groceries all by myself.

I will check back later.

I hope everybody has a blessed day!

hugs,
cathy

Angry Hello Ladies

I was looking at the front page, and I didn't realize it had been OVER A WEEK since I posted. I have been lurking though, and I've been thinking about you all.

Lynnie: WOW-you're doing great on WW!

SnoopysGal: I don't know if I ever took the time to welcome you. I read your story a while back. It's good to have you here!

Kempy: How much longer till you get your license and can go into business? Sounds like you're going to be ready.

Leenie: Thanks for your nice thoughts. I don't post as much as I should, but this group has come to mean a lot to me.

Cathy: A whole day to yourself! Enjoy it

CIN: Hope with the nicer weather that you get some interest on your condo

Tippy: I read your post about family problems. I'm going through a lot right now with my DS. I'm keeping you and your family in my prayers.

Liz: Hope your DD (and you) ace that school project

Sue: I saw your post about losing 7 lbs WTG!

April: Aren't you glad spring is coming?

Tuesday I started Dr. Phil's Quick Start Plan. I'm doing pretty well so far. I haven't weighted myself. I'm probably going to wait a while for that. Friday is going to be my Dr. appt. for my anti-depressant. I know I need to be on meds, so I'm looking forward to it.

I all these new smileys! Speaking of which, I could use some more right now!

Have a nice weekend!

Default PS The rest of the story

The "crafter" did agree I should pay for it but for $3. more said she would repair it and mail it to me in about 2 weeks sooooooooooooooooooooooo
I do have a pretty light blue stained glass cross on the way!

So I paid $4 to go to the show and break something for $12. to pay $3. to have it repaired and mailed to me 2 weeks later....NOW that is what I call a fun day out with a friend!!!! We did have a good lunch of chicken salad and fresh fruit with banana bread/cream cheese sandwich!

Have a good rest of Saturday gang!

Oh cin - I can certainly relate to that sort of day! ain't it fun! but the lunch sure sounds good.

The last "duh" moment I had recently was last week when I was in Walmart and picked up 4 bags of clear silverware for one of the showers I am doing in a few weeks. I saw them and thought I would get them ahead of time, well I remember tieing up the bag when I paid for them and putting them in the very bottom of the buggy and it was raining when I got outside and I never made it home with them. I didn't realize it til the next day and then I was like "hey? where is that bag of silverware I bought" and then I remembered where I had put them and that I never reached down and grabbed them out of the bottom. Nothing like wasting $10. I hope somebody enjoyed the free silverware!

Hey? can anybody chat tonight? like around 8 or 9 tonight? let me know if ya can and I'll plan to meet ya there. I think I can swing some chatting tonight if there is anybody to chat with.

hugs,
cathy

Lynnie, you are doing great and you certainly don't need any advice from me, but I just wanted to menton something.

You said that you haven't exercised in almost 3 days and that you feel so tired. I notice when you do exercise that you are exercising a lot and that it GREAT, but sometimes it can be overwhelming to think you must walk for an hour or more, plus everything else you are doing. For me, I need to exercise everyday (but of course life gets in the way and I can't) but on the days that I don't exercise I feel tired, almost like I'm coming down with something. It might be that since you haven't exercised in a few days, that you are feeling tired. On those days, if you could just talk yourself into a 10 or 15 minute walk, you might feel better and get some of that energy back - it's just a thought.

I know when I am feeling bad (even like this morning with this cold), that I will tell myself "ok girl, I'm just gonna do 15 minutes and then if I don't feel better or I feel too bad to do more, then I'll just stop there". Everytime I do that I still get in at least my 30 minutes, but even if you don't - a 10 or 15 minute walk might really help you feel better - or 10 or 15 minutes of handweights even - just something to get the blood pumping.

It's just a thought.

hugs,
cathy

good morning chickadees!

I got up and had my coffee and then went for a 30 minute walk around our 2 mile block. I always feel so much better when I do that.

I'm off to sunday school and church.

Hope everybody has a blessed day!

hugs,
cathy

Happy Sunday Everyone,

Sunday is my "rest" day for exercise, but I got some activity in doing 4 loads of laundry, sweeping/mopping the kitchen and bathroom, wiping down the bathroom sink and toilet, mirror, etc as well as a general once over of the house.

Made salmon fillet spiced with seasoning salt and parsley flakes. Baked with some quartered potatoes and served with sides of cottage cheese and fresh broccili and baby carrots. The kids had applesauce with some ground flax seed on top for dessert.

For dinner...probably soup, salad, and biscuits.

My midwife friend called and she has to come to do a blood iron test for a woman near me so she is going to drop in for a visit. It has been an okay day.

Later Everyone,
