Well I did some cleaning today, cut out coupons, exercised, and talked to a good friend of mine on the phone.

My exercise was 30 mins of WATP (1 mile) and I did 15 mins of lifting handweights.I would say that vitamin I took today gave me just enough energy today to actually do exercises. Now I stink from all that sweating; I think thats the part I dislike most.I have always disliked sweating.I know it cleans the toxins (sp?)but its so disgusting

hi everyone.. we have sun today! and NO dangerous windchills for first time in over a week. I shovelled the new snow from the walk and steps and will leave the rest for when hub gets home tomorrow. We have a looooooooooooong driveway and a snowblower... so that's his job.

I dug out my light box. I haven't used it in a few winters ... which is absolutely silly. Who did I think I was kidding? I have it set up here at the computer and am basking in it now. I have been meaning to do this since November... so why didn't I? It became a major task to do. Denial? What? i don't get it. I know how valuable it is, yet it was too much of an effort to set it up (it took a whole 3 min). Why do I do this to myself?

Good Afternoon Chickadees!

Leenie - uhmmmmm do we get details about lunch? what did you have? how was the cheeeeeeeeeeeesecake? yum!!!

Lynnie - those must be some good vitamins. what kind ya taking? good for you exercising today! woooooohooooooo I don't like sweating either, but our bodies sure do like it, and it just makes ya really appreciate a good shower!

JudoMom - I'm glad you pulled out the lightbox! especially if it helps! Good idea to use it while you are on the computer! I've never tried one of those before, but I was wondering could you leave it on you all day long while you were working at a desk or at the computer? or can you only use it for a few minutes at a time? just wondering.

I went ahead and started up the Daily Food Log thread for next week. We have had so much activity on the food log this week, that I wanted everybody to be able to start right up in the morning, if I can't get in here first thing. Sometimes Monday mornings are crazy at work.

We had steaks for lunch and the Superbowl is starting right now. I think I'm gonna see if anybody is in the chatroom and run back and forth btwn the game and chatting.

hugs,
cathy

Lynnie I use the same vitamins, but for some reason when I take them, I get sick to my stomach for about 1/2 hr. I think its the B... a few years ago I remember having reactions to B supplements I was taking, but I still take em. I hate sweating too ick.

Cathy, I had the spicy crispy beef, over rice. It was spicy and very sweet. It was good but next time I will order something not sweet lol. The apple strudel cheese cake was divine Enjoy the big game.

JudoMom, good for you for diging out that light box, some times we are so silly huh. We had a nice day weather wise too, it got to about 40 and the sun felt heavenly.

We are watching Disney Channel, they are playing kid shows, Gracie loves it and quite frankly I don't watch foot ball so it suits me just fine.

You know it just hit me yesterday DUH!! but my depression this winter has been pretty darn good, meaning I haven't had it much at all, maybe 2 weeks since october that I can remember, I think I owe it all to Atkins.... I feel pretty darn good. But then I'm not counting my chickens, its only Feb 1st, we have a few more months to go b/4 we are out of the woods. But this has been the best winter I've had in a very very very long time

Hugs everyone.
