Woweeee, I just realized that us east coasters need to turn our clocks ahead this weekend... I love sunshine, I feel so much better with it.
How was your weekend? do anything special? We are getting a cold blast this week... Talk about March coming in like a lion ..da eyes, da eyes lol.
Well I did poorly at low carbing last week... did 3 days well and it went down hill from there. I am still going to try to stay away from "white" products and stick with healthy carbs, whole grains, lean meats, etc.... oh and oooodles of veggies
Today I start training for my new job here... well what I hope to be my new job LOL Its kinda of a promotion / new position...but I haven't worked out the finals with my boss yet... so we will see. He's on vacation but in the mean time I will get a jump on the training (since the lady who does the job is leaving soon...every second counts).
It was chilly here this morning - 30 degrees - but suppose to be almost 70 this afternoon. It's a little hard to dress for these kind of days but I love the weather.
I just realized that we turn our clocks forward next weekend also. Sounds like some are worried about the computers handling the early time change, but I think most people will be able to just manually make the change.
Leenie - that's great on the promotion! but will you have the same boss??? will you have to work even harder? I sure hope not ;-) but again CONGRATS on the promotion!
I didn't make it up this morning to get in my exercise so of course I feel like a slug and I'm feeling anxious about some things. I was up several times during the night trying to doctor a tooth that is killing my oldest son, so I just couldn't bare to get up at 5 am. I also have a tooth that's bothering me so that's part of the reason I'm feeling anxious - dental bills - yuck! Sometimes I think it would be easier to pull them all and get dentures. oh man I'm in a mood this morning....but it'll pass.

Hey Cathy, sorry about the tooth. My sister says the same thing as you, she wishes they would just pull her teeth so she could get false ones. Hope your feeling better and DS too.
Yes it would be the same boss, and much more work... yeah I know but like anyone of us here. .... our families come first and this is a great opportunity for me to make more $... bonus' even. I've never had that sort of chance so I'm gonna try.
Leenie - congrats on the promotion, I hope your schedule and well being can handle the extra work. I know when I used to work, I would just go with what was piled on till I could not take anymore. I hope you manage it well.
Cathy - Sorry about the tooth. Luckily I don't have real teeth problems, but my hubby that always takes much better care of his teeth has many. I hope that it gets taken care of, I know it can be a pain.
I have already been to workout this morning. I go with my mom and my sister and it is fun. I am going to try and get a WATP dvd in this afternoon also. I cleaned out my pantry yesterday and threw out a lot of food that is not good for me. I am lucky this time on loosing, because my hubby is on a weight loss kick also. Yay!!! Well I will chat with you later. I go to clean out the fridge now.
Between me and .5 mgs of ativan we got the dental consult over with. This gal was lovely. We've made a plan (althought nothing too scarey is happening in there, surpised the crap outta me, I thought they were ready to fall outta my head) and I start actual treatments later this month.

I have Been busy, I am running 2 auctions this year with more than 800 items between them that I have to keep straight and make sound good!
Also my son has his bar Mitzvah in a few weeks and I don't know who is more excited, him or me! The RSVP's are coming in and I have to say i love mail that is NOT bills
and last but not least I had lasik just about 2 weeks ago and I am thrilled with the results!
My weight remains the same so no complaints my pup and I passed the therapy do class we took but still have to do the practical and and and....

Trish it really makes a world of difference when your other half is dieting with you. Its hard to come home to some one who eats what ever they want and there you sit knawing on salad like a rabbit. LOLOL GOOD FOR YOU !!!!

I'm feeling better today I got in my 2 miles before getting ready for work. That always seems to help.
Our oldest son got his tooth fixed yesterday that was bothering him which I'm really glad about. Wish mine were as easy to fix.

We have invited 230 people to the Bar Mitzvah, 90 of which are childern 10-16 I think we will be close to 200 when all is said and done. I am working on the service with the rabbi, lots of non jews and so a little extra english is important!
Lasik surgery HURT LIKE ****, very unomfortable while it was being done, a lot of pressure and then a whole weird underwater sensation BUT both eyes were done in 15 min. I had surgery at noon and by 6 pm I could see the TV clearly. 20/20 the next moring and I should be 20/15 when I go backnext week! I did not bargin shop, the Dr I went to has done 16000 surgeries with a zero failure rate.

OMG L, thats gonna be some whootin hollering party... ENJOY !!!!! I think you've convinced me to have the surgery....really, I've been wanting to do it for years but I'm a big ol chicken...bak bak bak. Thanks so much for telling me.
Just stopping in to say hello again. I really struggled with my emotions yesterday... ugh, I got so depressed so quickly, but I countered it with some exercise, and it made a world of a difference. I'm so proud of myself. This'll be my fifth day now, and I'm not giving up!

I'm still alive, stressing, but alive. Its warmed up here and melting like crazy, still cloudy and grey though. C has a judo tournament on the 17th, its a 7 - 8 hours drive away and I'm having fits. I'm imagining my van breaking down and all sorts of equally awful things, its hard to get possitive when you have an overactive imagination! Plus I have to drive in and out of a city while I'm there. I'm hoping that if we take the van in for a tune up that my alleviate some of my fears. I keep hoping I can turn this into a fun adventure as it will just be me and two of my girls and we are going to a huge mall, it should be fun, not so terrifying. Anyway hubby is gone probably until the weekend and C is turning 15 on Thursday. I'm thinking of making her an icecream cake with maybe a judo theme, not sure how to do that yet. I did buy the oreo cookies last night tho. (I made B one a few years ago with hello kitty on it, now I have to remember how I did it!)
Anyway I should get going. B and C just got home from school so I guess I should think of something for dinner, maybe if I get the oven going the house will warm up.
