NiteKatt: YOU ROCKED considering the week. Man, I would have had CHOCOLATE or at least mindlessly nibbled or some fast food. I hate that you are going through all that turmoil. It is wonderful that you've established enough habits that you dont' completely go off the deep end with food when something happens. If this didn't do it, then I would say you have accomplished alot! Then to top it off, you did EXCERCISES? Enough to make you SORE! WTG! Nothing like sore muscles to remind you of your mission. COongrats on the 2lb loss. I'm still waiting for TOM to disappear. My pounds are coming down.

bopis: I don't think I could be inspired at 5am. Kudos to you.

Babybelly: I ate like I was still preggers so while I might have been running around due to my newborns, I wasn't losing! Kudos to you too.

Boy, you aren't kidding! I hope everybody at leasts feels like someone is responding to them. I know most of us are TRYING to keep up with everybody. I almost want to ask Princess all the names of the elves and put them in my signature so I can use it for reference.

I'm pretty sure a fire would be too hot about this time of year. Perfect for Christmas though. I do my book reading in a hot bath. I don't do nearly enough of it anymore. I used to LOVE to read books. Now i sorta find it too long to hold my interest. It's the weirdest thing.

Wow I think I'm all caught up once again! I sure must keep on top of this thread or it may get pretty mind boggling!!!!!!

So it sounds like overall everyone is doing awesome! We really are AWESOME look what page we are on already! I think we are gonna have to start weekly chats to keep the pages number down. WOW!

So I am home! I am HOME! My grandma Is doing very good! I am happy I got to help her out! I am really happy to be home with my kids! I missed the mommy mom mommy! But at the same time it sure was a nice break! Back to the good old ways! Cooking cleaning and I am doing my walking with the kids! It is awesome, we went for about a 90 walk yesterday and now today about 2 & 1/2 hours! This is awesome...they go on their bikes and I truck behind them!

They great motivators..they were begging for me to take them today again...so off we went...the only thing that sucked about it was it was so so windy!

My scale was good to me when I got home from my trip! It was at 172! So that is nice! I'm back on track now!

NOW FOR MY LADIES!!!!!

Treecongratulations on your new job!!!!!

Nightkatt-sorry to hear about your daughter...It sounds like how I was when I was that age! They do seem to out grow that stage at some point! Lotsa to you! Congrats on the eating...WAY TO GO!

Angela-lol newborns sure are alot of work...definately a good workout doing the things yah need to do...however very important for you to get your rest in while you can...lol as they grow they get far more demanding!!!! Hey MOMS out THERE??!!

PurpleCrush-ouch sore feet suck! I broke my ankle in 3 spots 2 summers ago playing baseball...I have pins in my ankle now..I even broke my leg! So please keep it easy...I still wake up everyday in pain and I have pretty much constant pain every day at some point! But running and walking have really helped it out! I should have been doing this sooner!

Courtnie`Sorry to hear about your boy's car!!!Always ups and down in the road no matter what! It sounds like you have some ups coming your way this week! Have fun GURL!

Wilma- I so fluctuate everyday! From 3-5 lbs sometimes a little more or less! All depends on the day & what I ate, drank and did!

OKAY MY FRIENDS this is really long...I'm sorry! I feel I have completed my up-to-dateness! So off I go to do one of my favorite things sleep with my window open and covered in a nice warm fleecy blanket naked!!!!!! lol

I love love love grabbing a Starbucks and reading Nora Roberts books in the bathtub!!! I dont do this as often as I like anymore (well since school) Every single time I get in, one of my kids knock on the door and say...."mooooooooommmmmm" UGH

I didnt walk a full mile today at my daughters practice..after 2 laps my foot started throbbing on the top, so I called a night lol..I just sat and watched her practice, which I prefer anyway..not to slack off on exercising..I just like watching her learn new things so she can practice at home and stuff.

Im gonna go to bed early tonight and try to get the kids to bed by 9. School starts in 3 weeks ( I cant wait!!!) Last night I stayed up till 3am finishing a good book I was reading..boy did time sure fly by!!! I didnt even know it was that late!

Wow, I'm gone 5 days and this is crazy. I'll try to read through this later today, but I'm posting now to get back into things.

I did the Breast Cancer 3 Day walk over the weekend. It was INCREDIBLE!!! I was a crew member and did route safety on my bicycle. I rode about 100 miles and got to cheer on everyone. It was so much fun. Can't wait to do it again next year.

My exercise has been ok. I am having a problem with my toe/foot being numb since yesterday. I intentionally gave myself a day off with ice/elevation to try to fix whatever is causing the numbness, but to no avail. Its still numb. I walked my 4 miles this morning, and it didn't get worse so thats good. I've got a 5K to run tomorrow, and this is really freaking me out. I don't know what is wrong to make this happen. Anyone got any ideas????

Well, I have to go. I'm playing a service at the Lutheran home this morning and need to get cleaned up.

heh I fell behind on this thread too! Wow. I have still lost nothing this week... I'm also experimenting with eating more since I burn 2400+ calories a week and was feeling weak on 1200 so I'm afraid I won't lose anything! But we'll see as the weeks go by.

Today I'm planning on running for 40 minutes.

To the poster who asked about weight fluxuations, (I can't remember who anymore, lol) my weigh can fluxuate 5 lbs in a given day. It depends on how much you've ate, drank etc. It's best to weigh yourself at the same time every day. I prefer first thing in the morning before I drink/eat and after I go to the bathroom. That way you're measuring more of your actual body weight and less of the temporary stuff in it.

I have Morton's Neuromas in both feet. It's pretty common. I got mine from injuring my foot then walking funny during the healing process (instead of wearing a post op boot or something). I also commonly happens with people that wear tight shoes, pointed shoes, or high heels. Basically its a growth on a nerve between the last 2 toes. It gets squeezed or rubs against each other. That's just ONE possibility. Obviously I'm not a podiatrist. I do recommend going to see one. I suffer from numbness (and my toes will even get really cold when it goes numb) and some pain when walking or doing other excercises (though most of this has been reduced through physical therapy and BETTER SHOES). Icing it and maybe some motrin type medicine (if it doesn't conflict with any other meds you may be taking) is a good first aide trick. The next step is reporting it to the podiatrist and see what they say about it all. Good Luck.

BTW, TOM isn't winning. I finally got down and PAST my original weight before TOM hit. I lost .06lb. TOM hasn't left yet,so I wanna see what kind of presents he gives me when it is all over.
