Hey chickadees! What's up today?

Sakuya - Way to go girl on getting into a Small. I know what you mean by being too small if you lose all that weight. I am only 5'0 and when I weighed 125 I was in a 2. If I weighed what the chart says at 110 I wouldn't be able to buy clothes. Just the way I am built. I am so happy for you. You are going to look amazingly timy at Christmas. You must share your pictures with us.

JasonsLea - Great job on driving! I bet you can't wait to get that license.

TREE - CONGRATS! I am so very excited for you. You will be a great motivator and supervisor.

Pink - I can't go to a regualar Gym. I go to Curves, I am impressed and admire you. You 2 owira!

This lo carb diet seems to be working - I can't wait to weigh in next week since TTOM this past week! I have high hopes! I am going to VA Beach this weekend - a girls weekend away - I hope I can stay away from the beer! Wish me luck !!!! Hopefully I can stick to plan as well!

Hope everyone is drinking their water and having a great day!

Hey Shari! Great job on the driving. I hope you have a fatabulous time this weekend. I could spend all week in Walmart too. I have relatives in Arkansas that I try to visit once a year. When I'm down there, I think I go to Walmart about once a day. I can always come up with an excuse to go. We have a few in Metro Detroit, but they aren't nearly as nice as the ones I've been to traveling down south.

Tree - Congrats on the job sweetie!

N2! - We're on another thread together. It's nice to see a familiar face.

I feel really good and have been losing steadily. I even went so far as to buy four pairs of pants yesterday that were about a size and a half too small. I plan to wear them by mid-October. Though I signed up for the 40 lb challenge, my challenge to myself is to make it to 190 by Christmas. To celebrate I'm going to go the Victoria's Secret semi-annual sale. There's one every year in June and another within two weeks after Christmas.

Congratulations Tree! And good luck in your new job.

It looks like half the ladies on this thread are having theit TOM together , so let me join in as well...
It was great though, to understand the reason why I only dropped one pound in the last three days, I was becoming descouraged. I didn't know I was retaining water during this time. Another reason I'm happy I joined this challenge with you guys!

Well..that TOM thing..lol...I have female problems (hopefully getting them fixed soon...ovarian issues) and when I have a period...my husband says it is like an ellipses (...) LOL! I had one from the end of July until yesterday...LOL.

I go to the doctor today and hopefully they will give me some answers. I have cut my calorie intake pretty good...and am exercising like a fiend. Joined the local YMCA and feel great about it.

Nice to finally post -- it has been BUSY around here...

I've had a really bad day. I live in the same town as my grandfather who in 83. His health has been going downhill and last night he had to be conviced by 3 police officers, two EMT's, 4 neighbors, my aunt and myself to go to the hospital for a blood sugar count of 562 and dehydration. I spent the yesterday at the hospital with him having follow-up tests that ALL went well. He is healing from a quadruple bypass and pulmonary complications. So he really didn't want to go BACK to the hospital. It was so hard to consider forcing him into going.

I didn't go to the gym yesterday, sat in various clinics, and drove over 100 miles yesterday. I also ate A LOT of food including a barbeque chicken sandwich from Subway, a cookie, potatoe chips, and WAY more peanut butter than was healthy. I am feeling out of sorts and sick to my stomach. I hope my grandfather gets better and that I can get out of my slump to support him.

I hope your grandfather gets better. It's always sad to see people you love suffering in any sort of way...

I just discovered there is a YMCA that's a 30 minute walk from my house! I want to join but I have no idea how much it will cost and I'm afraid to go find out and be disappointed that I cannot afford it. It would be great though because I wouldn't have to even rely on getting a ride... I could just walk or bike there!

I've upped my calories now to 1450. I've been so low on energy lately so hopefully that will help out with things. I have been at 1200 for 5 months and before that I was at 1000 for 2 months! So it's scary to start eating more, but I have been exercising ALOT more lately so it should counteract.

Pumpkinprincess- WTG on the job!!!!!!

Good job to all the losers!!! I cant wait to weigh in this week!

At my daughters soccer practice last night, I walked a mile on the track. I felt fine while doing it. Then last night, my foot was throbbing! It hurt so bad. Oh, I forgot to meantion that I have a hairline fracture in my left foot lol. It was healing great and I think I just made it worse. So at my sons practice tonight, im going to wrap up my foot good and still walk, just not as fast. Im not going to let my foot get me down.

So have a great day !!!!!

purplecrush, DO NOT injure your foot more. Would you rather miss one day of excercise or months, etc of excercise cuz you injured it? I started with what I THOUGHT was a broken toe and ended up with BOTH feet messed up. That makes no sense and it is a semi long story but the bottom line is take care of an injury like that up front or you may pay down the line. There are other excercises or other times.
