I don't know how to feel about my weight right now, I've been having an upset stomac for the last 3 days so my quick drop isn't real, I am just empty, but I am so happy to see the new weight even tho I know I will gain it back in a few days.
I did it, I can't belive it, I thought I was not going to lose weight, but I have walked so much this week that I have lost a lot of weight.
By the middle of the week, I was heavier than I was at the start of the week, as I anticipated, but I've done around 10,000-15,000 steps over the past few days and it has paid off.
Now I wonder if I can be so ambitious during the month of June.
1/05: 94.1 (207.4) 8/05: 92.3 (203.4)
16/05: 91.8 (202.3)
22/05: 90.5 (199.5)
29/05: 89.5 (197.3)
May goal: -4 kg (8.8 pounds)
Actual weight loss: -4.6 kg (10.1 pounds)
Well I didn’t meet my May goal, but I had a fun & relaxing getaway… so in my book it was worth it.
at least I’m down from where I started the month (just after vacation) … not much but down.
Here’s to doing better in June!
so, a very poor month for me. I've been super-busy & pretty distracted from cooking & eating properly, so I'm not really surprised I've gained weight.
on the upside, I've been more active this month. I've been sailing a few times & have joined a gym so I've been feeling pretty sore & I always seem to retain some weight while my muscles repair themselves. I was 15st 6lb mid-month when I was feeling particularly achey after a weekend of sailing! who knows, maybe I've even gained some muscle (but probably not 3.5lb lol).
so I'm going to chalk it up as a few steps forward & a few steps back, but hopefully it means that I'm better set up to make progress going forwards.
Wendy: I count it as a win to not gain in a month that includes a relaxing vacation.
MrBadger: I always find it tricky to introduce new exercise into the mix. It definitely helps me in the long run, but messes with my hunger levels and scale readings in the short run.
I'm pleased that I met my goal to weigh 20 times -- that took daily weighing for the last half of the month, so I feel like I've developed a good habit, now. I'm less pleased that my weight was up for much of the month, but at least I ended about where I started. I have high hopes for June!
