Total Loss for Week One:
Fairly steady loss this week, which is nice for a change. And I get to change my avatar today. Finally hit 80 lost. My goal is 120, so I'm now 2/3 of the way done. 40ish pounds to go. I'd be satisfied with 30 more, as that would move me into the Healthy category, but 40 more is the number where I THINK I'll feel done and like I shouldn't lose any more. We'll see as I get closer, but that is my best guess.
Lacerta: 80 pounds lost!!! Congratulations. You give everyone the hope they need. Slow and steady wins the race. You demonstrate that every single day.
No weigh in for me today. I had unexpected company drop in this weekend and it’s been a whirlwind of activity.
Starting Monday, I’m switching from low carb to low cal because I want to get back to my beloved steel cut oats. I add unsweetened almond milk, 1 oz walnuts, 2 tbsp hemp hearts and 1/2 cup blueberries. It’s such a protein & fibre dense breakfast, I don’t eat again until supper which will be fish and veggies. I’m nervous about the change but I need the soluble fiber to prevent IBS symptoms. So I’ll likely not be posting daily weight on this site for a while ... until my body adjusts. Then I’ll l be back in a few weeks. Keep going strong everyone!!
I've been flirting with 186-188 all week, kind of frustrating! Oh well, consistency is key. And I know I haven't been drinking enough water, so need to up!
Follena: That is a very sweet thing to say. I'm inspired by all of you every day. I hope that even if you aren't weighing in for a bit, you'll still keep checking in with us. Good to keep the habit.

I've still been really good on calories and macros the last 2 days, so I'm attributing this bump up to stress. My busy time at work is done for the month after tomorrow, so I'm hoping to be back down again for the weekend.
The dreaded period bloat this weekend was a little frustrating but I am pleasantly sore in most of my body - yay yardwork for total body workouts! The scale hasn't budged from 188 but should be down in the next couple of days as Mother Nature goes away for a couple of weeks. Kidlets and I all fighting a sinus cold, too, which is totally unfair when the weather is this nice!
Fantastic job Lacerta and huge congratulations on 80 lbs lost!!! You are such an inspiration!
I come home so tired every day due to the new job that I just want to lay down and do nothing LoL. Need to find a way to get more exercise, my weight loss is pretty slow lately. Joe
Well apparently grouching on here worked - and my period bloat is gone - and I am down to 186! I'm sure I will be back up tomorrow but still *happydance*
