If I lose 8 LBS a month I can reach my Goal Weight in Mid-July! I'm half-way to my Goal Weight when I started this thread!
I'm down 60 LBS from my highest weight when I started this challenge!

JANUARY
1/1. 202 I decided to eat more sweets than I should and got out of Onderland! But not as bad as I thought.
1/4. 199.8 (- 2.2) I'm back to ONDERLAND again!
1/12. 201.4 (- .6) I ate out 4 days in a row. Out of Onderland again!
1/18. 200.4 (- 1.6)
1/26. 199.2 (- 2.8) I'm back to ONDERLAND again and hope to stay.
1/31. 198.2 (- 3.8) I at least had a loss of weight at the end of the month.

Well, I fell ridiculously short of my goal to hit 135 lbs last year...it was a much harder year of ups-and-downs on the scale than 2017 had been. I suppose that's to be expected as you get closer to healthy weights, but I still had a lot of regains that weren't necessary throughout this last year, so I'm hoping that I can make 2019 a more stable year overall. I'm also bringing up my "Ultimate Goal Weight" of 135 lbs up a smidge to 140 lbs, which would still rest me squarely in the middle of a healthy range -- just to account for some wiggle room. That's a goal of about 42.4 lbs for the year, so we'll see if I can make it happen or how close I can get! Best of luck in 2019, everyone!
I have never thought of making a yearly goal...when I took how much I wanted to be by the end of the year and divided it by 12, I was so surprised. My goal is 175 by the end of the year. That is ONLY 5lbs a month, which I feel is completely do-able!

Is it to late to join in? I am an old girl and so need to do this for my health..... all though if I could be hot for my age would be a great extra. My goal is to reach 160 this year. I am sure I will look like a sharpa (that wrinkled dog)... but..... praying to be a healthier one. High blood pressure..... pre diabetic..... hurt all over... and who knows what else I am not aware of...... I am 65 and been fighting this weight forever....

I am going to join all of you for 2019. I have 100 lbs to go to get to my goal. I won't make it this year. But I'll see how far I get! I have given up all extra sugar in my diet for this coming year and have already lost 5 lbs since New Year's! And I am counting my calories ... Best of luck to everyone!

Total Weight Loss for the Month: 10.6 LBS.
I went over my goal of 5 lbs by 5.6 lbs!! Hoping to have another successful month in February. I've been staying about the same the last few days. Daily weigh-ins are starting to get to my head, so in February, I think I'm just going to stick with this one and the winter to spring weigh ins. I also took my measurements last night. I have lost over 6 inches throughout my body since last Tuesday! So, that makes me feel a ton better. So happy to see some results and know that my hard work is paying off.

I lost a total of 6.8 this month, which was better than I've been doing, so I'm happy with that. My goal only needs me to average about 3 pounds a month, but I expect to slow down at some point, so a few bigger months early on will help with that. I'll take it.
