June Exercise Challenge
Summer time is exercise time!
State your exercise goal and track it throughout the month with this supportive group of fellow exercisers. We'll compile our workout goals into a list. As each goal is met during the month, it gets turned RED in celebration. This thread is for fitness and exercise goals. For other weight loss goals, be sure to see our sister thread: June Weight Loss Challenge |
Ok, I’ve thought things over and have decided to go with a set number of exercise minutes this month. I’m going to aim for 45 min of exercise 5 days a week. Including today in that, that makes for a goal of 945 minutes. That’s much more than I’ve been doing.

Joining this challenge again. 1000 minutes this month!

I'm joining as well and my goal is 1000 minutes.

I'll aim for 1100 minutes again in June. I'm off to a good start!
1: 50 walk; 50/1100 |
I hit a new personal record for my workday steps yesterday - 14,246. :dancer: And to think that a month ago, a good day for me was 10,000 fewer than that! I use my phone to track, so that doesn't include all the times I don't have my phone on me. I'd estimate that's only an extra 1,000 steps though. Anyway, I won't be tracking my steps as part of the challenge this month, but I will still be aiming to keep them high and will share them when I hit a new PR.
gardenerjoy - Great start! Yesterday was a good day for walking. :D Did you also listen to a podcast during yours yesterday? I listened to one on travel, and the time flew by. |
Chunkahlunkah: I'm currently listening to The West Wing Weekly podcast -- and binge-rewatching The West Wing as I do it. It's really fun!
