nicoley nice whoosh, I hope that you get to keep it all or most of it!!

lacerta Thank you and congrats on being able to button your jeans, that is a huge NSV !! Great scale drop to go along with it!!!

snowmama Thank you for sharing some of the more common foods that you eat. That is awesome that changing your WOE has produced such great results with how you feel!!

ange I hope that your trip goes well. I totally agree that it is more enjoyable to treat yourself when you are at home with your loved ones than it is on a work trip! Thank you! I think that most of it has to do with being consistent because I am very much in the mindset of "lets get it done now", but another real factor is that I tend to lose most weight within 1 or 2 weeks out of the month and this might be one of those weeks. I have been really careful on the weekends (except for yesterday!)

kim I love, love the feeling of driving in a freshly cleaned car. It gives me such a feeling of accomplishment! And I love how you are using logic to explain your little bump up and not stressing about it.

ophelia Thank you and congrats on your whoosh!! YAY on your hubby being home!!! I completely understand your feelings over visiting a friends home vs. the public pool. You are not alone, I definitely have some hang ups about the loose skin, but after I stepped outside of my comfort zones a few times I got over all the apprehension and now I don't think twice. We worked damn hard for this and we look amazing loose skin and all

Yesterday I celebrated my bday at mall of America with the family. I had eggs like normal and then I ate a taco salad (didn't finish it) for lunch. I had a cinnabon (didn't finish it) as my bday desert instead of cake. Then I had some Auntie Annies pretzel bites with cheese. I did NOT binge and I was so proud of myself for how radically different yesterday went. I realize that I had consumed oodles of sodium yesterday but WTF 4.2 lbs. gain after that?!?!!? To say that I am frustrated would be the understatement of the century. After I weighed in I thought about just getting donuts for breakfast, but that thought came and went within seconds and I went back to my strict WW plan. Now I get to spend the rest of the week getting rid of the 4 lbs. instead of making further progress. GRRRRR

Went up a little but I think I will come back down ok. I made my lunches for the week, and have stuff on hand for dinner that should keep me in check. Tonight is trivia night, which means wings, but I've found that I can do ok if I don't eat too many. There really aren't too many healthy options at the BBQ place, so I try to keep low carb instead.

KFunk - give yourself 3 days - that's how long it usually takes me come back down after a weekend transgression.

Ophelia - I wear a long sleeve swim shirt pretty much all the time now. They are good for sun protection and it also gives a lot more coverage while still looking cute. I get mine at lands end.

Ange and Snomama - thanks for sharing. My takeaway is I should be eating a lot more vegetables! My friend is training for the Iron Man and has a nutrition coach. He has her eating 2 cups of vegetables at every meal.

Start: June 1, 2018 ~ 252.2
Goal for the month ~ 242.2 (10lbs)
Current Weight ~ 248.8
Lbs to go ~ 6.6

6/1 ~ 252.2
6/2 ~ 251
6/3 ~ 251.8
6/4 ~ 251.8
6/5 ~ 250.2
6/6 ~ 249.4
6/7 ~ 249.2
6/8 ~ 248.2
6/9 ~ 248.2
6/10 ~ 248.8
6/11 ~ 248.8

No change today. I was out all day yesterday and was a bit low on water again. I also ate out, completely on plan foods but I always worry that they could be seasoning with some hidden thing that I don't realize is added carbs. I also didn't IF either as I had a later dinner than normal with family. So happy to not see any gain since you never know. Home all day so macros, water and electrolytes should all be good today and hopefully tomorrow I see a loss again. We all know the weekends are the hardest!

kfunk ~ Boo scale! It sounds like you did great on your birthday. Like I was just telling myself ^ the problem with eating foods out is we never really know what all we're getting that we don't expect. Hope whatever caused the gain clears out of your system and the scale makes sense again soon!

Halfthegirliusedtobe & Salma ~ Welcome!

Casey ~ I'd feel weird about the pool too. It just feels different when it's complete strangers vs people that are actually some type of part of your life. I hope you just have fun and don't feel self conscious the whole time.

Lacerta~ Good weighin!

Hope everyone has a great week.

to CatherineRose, Salma, and Halfthe girlIusedtobe!

nicoley congrats on keeping most of your whoosh!

Ophelia nice whoosh, and you got to keep most of it! I am with you and keeping my fingers crossed that I can keep mine and finally progress beyond it!

Kfunk Happy belated birthday, I know you enjoyed your weekend. Yes that gain is crappy but hopefully it won't take you a whole week to lose it. I'm hoping you drop it faster. You have been doing great on plan and you'll see success!

I had a bump up yesterday but it came right back off. I think the pulling weeds and 2 hours of cleaning out the garage saved me and allowed this whoosh. Yesterday was just the worst day of eating I had since January. I refused to check my blood sugar because I think I ate Krispy Kreme all day. Here's hoping I can finally see the next decade this week!

Nicoley Yes. It's not so much that you need loads of veggies I don't think - it's just more the case that it's nice to eat a decent plateful of food, and that's the only way to do it. Heaps of anything else is too calorific!

I've decided to do an IF type approach this week whilst i'm away, so having buffet brekkie (two poached eggs and some mushrooms/peppers this morning) and canteen lunch (chicken and veg this lunchtime), then skipping dinner. That's more do-able than it sounds since dinner time here is 3am back home, so my body clock is still out of whack and i'm more interested in sleeping than eating anyway in an evening. Should work until Thursday at least when we have a team meal out scheduled.

Hi guys! I've been reading but not commenting. Figured I'd only comment when I hit a new low, and I finally did! I'm finally in the 130s! I'll make this decade last MUCH shorter than the 140s did for me. Good Lord, that decade was ridiculous.

HalfthegirlIusedtobe, Salma, and CatherineRose!

kfunk - I didn't realized you had a bday coming up. I must've missed it if you mentioned it. Belated Happy Birthday wishes to you! I know that bump must be incredibly annoying, but you'll be back to dropping into new lows in no time. It sounds like you handled your bday eats very well! You should be really proud for enjoying special foods that day and stopping when full. It's a major accomplishment not to overeat treats! I'm proud of myself for not doing so yesterday too.

momtopands - Good luck on the new decade! You got this! Sorry about the bad eating day. It happens. The important thing is that you're back on track. You're doing so well even with so much stress right now with your daughter. I find you amazing!

ange - Sounds like a really good plan!

kfunk: You're so right! We've both fought pretty dang hard to get to where we are now, so I don't want to let anything stop me. We went back out to the public pool here on post yesterday, and I was using it as a confidence-building experiment to prepare for next weekend. And, holy water retention!! I hate when that happens...I usually get gains like that after going to our favorite Mexican restaurant here in town. What you ate most definitely didn't make you gain that much actual weight overnight and will only be temporary, but I know how frustrating it is to have to see that number in the meantime. I am hoping that the rest of the offending sodium will flush right back out for you ASAP!

HalfthegirlIusedtobe: Welcome to 3FC!!

nicoley73: I burn pretty easily, so even if I didn't have the loose skin issue, I would still look into those...are they like the rash guard type things that surfers wear? Thanks for the tip! In the meantime, I'm still working on the mental game of not caring as much what others think overall...it's definitely a process, lol. Have fun at trivia night!

Kim: I'm glad you didn't see any gain today after your schedule being a little different than usual yesterday...hope you see a loss tomorrow after a normal day today!

Catherine Rose: You can do it however you like...a lot of us will update our first post as a way to track the whole month's data overall, then we will just post our daily weights along with our replies to other people each day when we post. I break mine down by each week with my daily posts, but keep the whole month post updated on the first pages...then, on the last day of the month, I will post a "recap" of my whole month that I've been updating on the first post. Some people just post a "Starting", "Current", and "Goal" (for example; SW: | CW: | GW: ) weight on the posts every day instead of logging it all. It's really up to you and how you want to approach it! I hope that helps! Let us know if you have any other questions.

Ange: Let us know how your IF experiement works out! Sounds like it should suit you and your body clock perfectly while away.

Chunkah: Congrats on hitting a new low and a new decade!!! Being in the 130s is my dream...lol.

VickieLou: Glad to have you join us late rather than not at all!

Joe: Hope your tummy feels better tomorrow, but I guess it's good for cleaning out the pipes for today! It's funny the things we can appreciate while trying to lose weight, huh?

-----------------------------------------

Back down again today to 172.0. We went swimming for a couple hours yesterday - and my husband was there to help with our youngest, and ended up keeping him the whole time because he hurt his arm during training and couldn't really swim much anyway, so I was able to actually swim and get some exercise in - and I was a little low on the water (only about 112oz), so it may pop back up a little tomorrow after fully hydrating today. Again, I will be taking the ups and the downs with a grain of salt just as long as my general trend remains a downward slope of sorts...lol.
