gardenerjoy: Life can get busy...just glad you're checking in!
kfunk: No, I didn't end up getting a chance to have much time to myself last night. I need to do that either tonight or this weekend!

Weigh-in was 225.6 today, so I'm hoping it keeps going down tomorrow. I was able to head out for my trek a couple hours early yesterday, so I went ahead and did my full 5 miles. I think my body needed that to shake things up, lol.

Weigh-in was 225.0 today. Did another 5 miles last night, so I'm thinking I need to try keeping up that earlier schedule as much as I can like I used to instead of just settling on the 3 miles every day.

kfunk: This has been an awesome week for you! Also, I finally started looking into the process of autophagy today, and I am seriously intrigued...I had no idea there was a Nobel Peace Prize awarded in 2016 about autophagy-related discoveries, and there has been several TED talks about the process, as well. A lot of the discussions I have come across focus a lot on its benefits to treating those with cancer and other age-accelerated diseases via the subsequent cellular regeneration -- in addition to the general health and wellness of the body once the process begins. It's fascinating, and I had no idea about any of it until you mentioned it! So, thank you. I'm still looking into it, so I couldn't say much more about it with sufficient reliability, but I am definitely going to follow-up with this and look more into it until I sate my curiosity on the topic. Oh, and on an unrelated side-note...I finally got in over 100oz of water yesterday! You have remained my inspiration on getting better about that since coming back, so wanted to let you know that I am slowly getting there, lol.

Weigh-in was 224.2 today. I was only able to do a 3 mile walk last night, but it was after a very busy day of running around, so I think that made up for it. I almost didn't head out, because I'd gotten back late after making the mistake of forgetting to go grocery shopping until yesterday -- which, until I pulled into the parking lot and there were barely any spots left, I hadn't remembered was during the last weekend to shop before Thanksgiving! I was so confused why it was so busy until I recalled that little fact. It took me THREE hours to get out of there when all was said and done. Not going to make that error again, lol.

Best to all
Is anyone else in the holiday mindset already as far as food is concerned? I find myself eating a lot lately with the mindset that "I'll fix it after the holidays". It doesn't make me feel good about myself but it seems like I'm on a downward trend and can't seem to snap out of it. Life has been slightly more stressful so that doesn't help with the eating situation. My weight has been going up and it's pretty depressing. I'm kind of dreading all the eating events that are coming up this week.
ophelia Wow, I didn't know about the Nobel Peace Prize and I wouldn't have known about it if it wasn't for MrsMcsMuffins, its so nice to share info!! I think I am going to do a 24 hour fast before and after Thanksgiving. I do plan on doing some longer fasts sometime in early December, just trying to gear myself up, they are hard! GREAT job getting in your water, 100 oz. is fantastic!! I seriously slacked this weekend but am back on track today. Nice drop as well, you are getting close to leaving the 220's!
Chub I am sorry to hear that things have been stressful for you lately I hope that you see some improvement soon. I am also dreading Thanksgiving... but I did limit social interactions that revolve around food to 3 this month and am hoping that will help. Don't get me started thinking about December
blondie Thank you!! Another nice drop for you as well!! Yes, I just started and I love IF so far!! I aim for an 8/16 window. I am hungry in the morning, but that is short lived because I drink coffee with my creamer right away and that helps get me to breakfast. I also will be throwing in some 24-36 hour fasts to help with loose skin. Do you know what kind of window your sister was doing?[
She does a 24 hour fast once a week - I don't know much more than that on her plan. She is off due to her pregnancy.
I tried it a couple weeks ago - I think the 24 is more doable that a 16/8 more often - I love to eat to much....thus why I am where I am.
