kymb92: Fingers still crossed for you to see a drop on the scale the next time you're able to weigh-in!


kfunk: I'm still struggling with the water, and only got in 5 servings. I think your goal of 160oz is great! That was my goal before this summer, so I am working on getting back up to that same number...I will see how close I can get to it today, as well. We'll see if I can at least get the bare minimum of 8-10 in today, if nothing else...


EagleRiverDee: It sounds like the hill sprints are doing their job, for sure!

Weigh-in was 228.0 today, so that is 4.4 lbs down for the week. Glad I was able to start moving down again before the week ended! My husband didn't end up going on the walk with me yesterday, but he said he'd go with me next time if I went a little earlier in the day...so, I will have to test that theory.

Feeling really down. Haven't even had a proper cheat meal and i've only lost half a lb! Plus i've got a lot of social things this week so probably not going to lose anything again

dee That shaky feeling is the best!! Keep up the great work!!

Ophelia I didn't make it to 160oz but I did get over 120 and plan on trying again today! I didn't feel well late in the day yesterday and it made it hard to keep drinking. 4.4 lbs. is AMAZING, what a great week!!! Hopefully if you go on your walk a bit earlier you will have some company!

kelijpa you are doing great!!

kymb Your consistency will pay off if you keep at it. It is super frustrating when the scale doesn't match our efforts, but there are so many weeks that I will have no loss or even a slight gain, followed by a 2 lb. loss the next week. Hang in there!

blondie you are getting very close to onederland!!

kelijpa: Happy for you to see you get back to your low from your birthday!


kymb92: I'm sorry you're feeling down today...have you had any extra salty days or less water lately? Hopefully your body is just in the lull before a whoosh. Try to stay positive, and keep at it! Either way, if you do that, you will be moving in the right direction for your health as a whole.


kfunk: I accidentally self-sabotaged yesterday and ended up leaving my water bottle at home! Needless to say, I didn't end up getting anywhere near where I wanted to be on the water by the end of the day....so, I'm going to have my water practically ball-and-chained to me all day to make up for it.

Ophelia - I hope that your loss had more to do with your efforts than it did possible dehydration!!! I didn't make it to 160oz again, but I have been getting over 120oz so feel okay with that. You are dropping down quite nicely!!

Blondie- It looks like you are back kicking butt, good job!!!

kfunk: That's still a really great amount! I only did a little better on the water yesterday, but it's a process...lol. You're my water inspiration right now!

Weigh-in was 226.8 today. I did slightly better on the water and got in a little over 4 miles on my evening walk yesterday. Going to make sure to stay completely on-plan today, because my husband's birthday is on Saturday, and we'll be celebrating it tomorrow by going out. (Both of the older kids have a Veteran's Day parade to perform in on his actual birthday, so we're having a Friday night date instead...lol.) We may also have a breakfast or an early lunch with the kids after the parade so they can celebrate a little something with him as well, on top of the cake we'll have in the evening, so I want to be able to make it through the weekend without much or any gain, if possible. We will see! I am thinking about having shredded coconut added to his cake, because he loves it (as do the kids) and I don't, so I will be a lot less tempted to indulge in that part of the day...haha.

Eagle: looks like you're making great steady progress! Keep up the great work!

I've been super good as far as exercising is concerned this week. I've recently added a new gym which I'm not too fond of but it's the closest location to my work place. The eating could've been better but there have been a lot of free food at my work this week. I did eat a lot less than what I would normally eat so I'm hoping that counts towards something.

ophelia Good job getting more water in yesterday, I also gradually increased. Yesterday's water consumption was lower though, 100oz or so... but today will be better!!! I am trying out IF with an 8 hour window and am excited about that!! Good job on getting in a 4 mile walk! Excellent idea about adding in the shredded coconut, but I don't think that a day off plan for a special occasion will hurt you as long as you get right back on track the next day. I hope that you guys enjoy your date tonight!!

dee you are doing great!!

chub Great job on exercising!! I think that eating less than you normally would will totally make a difference!! I could never do both consistently at the same time, its hard! All the good choices add up, no matter how little!

Chub, you're doing great. It's hard when there is food all around, so just making that conscious decision to keep it limited is great!

Just a super quick check-in saying that there was no weigh-in for the day...will do personals tomorrow. Also, heading out for lunch date instead of the dinner date due to movie times, since he wanted to see the newest Thor movie while we were out. Keeping my fingers crossed for not a lot of water retention/gaining from today on the scale tomorrow!
