I realized as I ate dessert about an hour after supper with my guests that my challenge for no pm eating was paused again. I am having guests over for dinner tonight and it might be the same, which got me thinking of possibly changing my challenge. I'm starting indoor exercise routines, always a challenge. I thought an exercise challenge might be excellent. My challenge starting today will be to get in 10,000 steps every day. This will be a huge challenge as I have only been getting 10,000 steps every other day. Timing is good, wish me luck!

Keep up the good work kfunk and jessie. Tortie, hope you are feeling better by now.

SSnooze, to 3FC and this thread. Hope you are doing well at increasing your vegies. Are you a salad eater? I try to eat a salad once a day and it certainly fills up the plate .

working I hope your exercise challenge goes well, I am excited about mine so far, but also know how quickly I am capable of falling off the wagon!!

I don't feel like I miss diet soda so I need to make sure I don't slip up and let myself have it, it is definitely an all or none scenario!

My challenge is to get 10,000 steps 6 days of every week (1 rest day per week)
Day 1 (M- 10/2) - success - walked in the afternoon, lovely fall day
Day 2 (T) - success with 11,690 steps.
Day 3 (W) - success with 14,839 steps. I am nibbling at night, not good. The scale is creeping up even with more exercise. I'll try reporting along with my steps and if that doesn't break my routine, I will restart my no PM eating challenge.
Day 4 (R) - Rest DAY!
Day 5 (F) - Success with 11,179 steps. Son home from college this weekend. Things are going well at school, yeah! Dh & ds fixing ds's computer this weekend. He unplugged it to go to college & nothing happed when he plugged it back in at school. The mother board (&more) went bad. Good to see him. I am very sore from new indoor exercise routines (it's getting windy/cold outside).
Day 6 (Sat) -
Day 7 (Sun) - -

kfunk, You are coming along nicely.

Jessie, You had a nice run of successful days, especially if you typically have goodies every day at work. Good to see you restarting the challenge

tortie, Sending you healing thoughts. Hope to hear from you soon.

Ssnooze, How is your challenge going? Do you need to modify it to get yourself going?

snooze, Doing Great!

kfunk, Awesome job at 8 days of shred! Are you sore? Nice work at cutting out the diet drink. Not sure I mentioned that since I quit the diet soda habit, I've only tried a sip of it a few times and it tasted so fowl that I have no desire to drink it in the future.

working my shoulders and back are a bit sore, but this time it hasn't been too bad. I think its because I did it for 3 weeks in August. MAN, I was SO SORE for DAYS when I started in August though!!

I really hope that I don't like the taste anymore, I have heard that from a couple people!! Last night I *almost* had one, we had to take my little guy to the ER and it was a couple hours after dinner, normally I would have been in bed, but since I was up I was feeling the desire to eat. I ended up having a bottle of water instead and had 2 bbq chips that my husband bought from the vending machine. Crisis averted!!
