Hi! Wanted to jump in quickly to say hi to everyone! Hi! I had a decent size loss this week, which motivates me even more!
Riestrella I love running! I haven't ran this past week with the weather being a little chilly, but am looking forward to getting back out there! I have only done one 10K so far, and my time was not good! Haha 85 minutes was my time, but I was a lot unhealthier when I ran that, so I am hoping to beat that by a lot the next race I do. As far as tattoos, I have a few! Haha. I am working on a literary inspired sleeve, so a lot of imagery from some of my favorite writers. Hoping to have that done in the next year or so!

Hoping to have a great week! Staying on target and exercising a lot! Have a great week, everyone!

Well done, everyone!

I'm very impressed with all your losses.

I'm still plodding on here but have moved to monthly weighing ~ I'll make an entry in about 3 weeks

Hey everyone!

Day 6 of T25 done! I made a shiny new ticker to put in my signature to keep track of how many days I've got left. Can't believe I'll be doing this for 90 days/18 weeks!! However I've got my fingers crossed that I'll lose 1 lb a week with T25, which would put me at 155 lbs . I seem to recall when I reached 155 lbs last time people started to notice my weight loss constantly and I felt much better about my body around that weight too. BUT! I need to work hard to stay on top of it and not use my hard workouts as an excuse to over eat.

This morning I weighed in at 172.8 lbs which was great to see after weighing in above 173 lbs last week! It put my average at 172.9 so hopefully I'll get some lower numbers this week and push down that average even more.

I'm surprised that I JUST made it into the top 20 charts, that was good to see! Congrats on everyone who's lost so far, keep it up and stay focused!

In life news it looks like my BF and I are going to have to find part time work to keep us afloat. We've managed to be freelancers/live off savings for almost a year of living in Atlanta, but we've not put back enough money into our bank account to keep on living this way. It's sad and it terrifies me too, since I don't want to stray from my dream, but we've got to be adults about this after all! I still feel like I just graduated Uni even though that was 7 years ago!

------------------------

Nikkiz - Losing weight and keeping it off is a hard task. You have to make habitual changes to your life, which is difficult to do. I think a lot of people get swept up in diet and workout plans that aren't a long term solution. I know my T25 program is temporary, I'll need to make sure I keep on top of exercise when it's over in a sustainable way otherwise I'll just go back to how I was before. Good luck on your journey, 4 lbs lost is awesome! You might not see those numbers week by week but any loss is progress.

FitBritt - Congrats!!

wannabe - Hey welcome back! Great to see you.

workinglikeadog - I'll have to visit Oregon someday for sure!

MorningGlory - Congrats on losing all that water weight! Now I'm interested in what stories you have about working at the cookie company...

Farn - I'm sure when you run your next 10K and you're lighter/healthier you'll beat your time! Wow your sleeve tattoo sounds fascinating, I'd love to know more about it

Since you asked, Rie...

As all the animal cookies are cooling, coming down the line, many are too close together and bake in, how should I say, compromising positions!!

Parents would write to the company saying their kids were asking why the animals were on top of one another or why one animal's face was on another animal's bottom! Understandably, moms and dads were not happy about it! So as we inspected the cookies coming down the baking apron we had to quickly get those intertwined cookies off before they hit the bagging area!!!

Exercise - 7 days done, 83 to go! Total Body Circuit today which is the hardest video of the week. I definitely need to work on my planks, I don't use my core enough. My shoulders are weak too, I've been relying on the modifier moves but I think for the next TBC I'll start doing the plank moves and just deal with it the best I can. I won't get better if I don't push myself after all!

Weight - Weighed in at 172.4 lbs this morning, a 0.4 lb drop from yesterday and it puts my average at 172.7 lbs. So happy to see these small drops for 3 days running. Makes me feel like with each workout there's progress.

Food - I'm getting a little better with my grain intake, though still not perfect. My BF has these "black hole" moments at around 9pm so it's been very difficult for me not to partake in them too. I had a bite of some Korean seaweed (sounds gross, but is really tasty) and a bite of his English muffin. I need to be stronger and just not have any bites. I can't ask him not to eat when he's hungry, that would be so unfair! I need to work on self control. I polished off the rest of my Ben and Jerry's ice cream that I had in the freezer yesterday too, so that's no longer something I can turn to either. We stopped buying those mini cans of Coke, which we had because the BF had a big deadline and he wanted the caffeine boost. I think it'll be tough since I've had a LOT of sugar for past couple of weeks, but I need to be strong and do my best to just deal with the withdrawals! Sugar is scary like that...

------------------

MorningGlory - Phew, I'm glad you didn't have any stories about bugs/spiders getting in with the cookies! I remember in school a girl brought in a chocolate covered tarantula that had appeared in her cereal one morning, it scarred me for life! That's a pretty funny story though, but I wouldn't exactly complain to the company about their kids being curious!!

Niecey - Hehe, glad you have a good ol' post-it note to remind you now! Great job on keeping up with exercise!!

jessiegreene - Welcome! Good luck with the challenge! My BF makes margs from scratch too, he even infuses tequila with fruits/peppers. Do you do that too? He makes a killer watermelon jalapeno marg so I'm told! I'm not a big fan of them but whenever he makes them for people they LOVE them.

8 workouts down, 82 to go! I pushed myself a little bit more and did some burpees that I would usually avoid and do the modifier moves for. So I'm proud of that! I felt pooped by the end though during the "burnout" phase (he combines all the exercise together without a break), I definitely found myself feeling sluggish but just tried my best.
Unfortunately I took my 2 day break too early in the week so I'll have to shift my break days around for another week until I'm back on schedule. I do like having 2 days off over the weekend! But if I get lazy during the week then I'm just playing catch up like this week.

Today I weighed at 171.6 lbs, a 0.8 lb drop from yesterday!! Definitely wasn't expecting that. Lowered my average to 172.4 lbs.

However tonight is Cinco de Mayo and I'm getting together with some friends to drink/eat. I'm going to do my best to not mindlessly snack, but we'll see how that goes. Whenever I'm with friends I feel happy and snacky!!
Sunday I'm having a board game day with friends and that usually brings the snacker in me out too. So a few challenging days ahead food wise but hopefully my workouts will help me maintain.

Hi everyone! I'm new to the challenge and am back to this site for the first time in YEARS. I'm a bridesmaid in 2 weddings coming up (November and January) and need to fit in my dresses. I gained some weight after I ordered them and they barely fit! I'm hoping I'll have to have them taken in before the weddings though. This challenge will give me some extra motivation.

So I gained back that 1lb. I feel annoyed with myself but honestly I am thrilled it wasn't a bigger gain. I had a crazy week!
I normally gym on Tuesdays or Wednesdays, but for last week I had a flat viewing on Tuesday, Wednesday AND Thursday. Thursday was also my second anniversary with my boyfriend so we went out for dinner.
We spent a couple of hours walking around the local area yesterday, I'm hoping to make that a habit for us as we racked up quite a few steps. Usually we are pretty inactive when we're together despite both wanting to lose weight.
This week I am planning to start a Get Back To Netball class and possibly another gym session, though I may just work at home. I want to see a 2lb difference!

Well done to everyone who has weighed in for week 2, and good luck for week 3!

I am in! I was here before and lost all my weight. Put it back on due to a sprained ankle and never getting back into it. TERRIBLE EXCUSE! Because, obviously all the weight came back over years. This time nothing is going to stop me from KEEPING IT OFF!!! So excited to watch all the number go DOWN!

Had the damn margaritas again this weekend and with my new workout class and muscle water retention, we are not even gonna talk about the scales... However, I am back on the right track today with good eating and workouts!!~
