  • Baby steps… Yesterday’s calories: 1,001 plus whatever calories are in 4 Tylenol!

    Yesterday’s low calories weren’t due to diet. I just didn’t have an appetite since I had a bad headache for most of the day. However, I did think the low calories might result in some movement on the scale this morning. No such luck. So, here I remain…patiently waiting…

    So, in total I've been away 2 weeks of the past three weeks of March. I got home last night and stepped on the scale this morning to see a return to my starting weight on March 1st. In the past, the scale would continue to rise for a few days before it went back down. I will drink lots of water, green tea etc. and return to a low carbs way of eating. While away it kind of sort of didn't happen all the time. I did my best and my exercise level really rose which I'd like to keep going.

    While I would love to meet my goal, if I can't have that, I want to ensure I am not heavier than my starting weight at the end of the month. I did that in January. I don't want to do that again.

My headache is gone, but this morning I awoke with a cold…sneezing, sniffling and running a bit of a fever…just what I need!
