Big Fat Rooster 11-03-2014 10:27 AM

My exercise of yesterday was a half mile walk with my two ladies, one of which left me cold to go hunting ground squirrels :(

And turning my big pile of horse manure which I am preparing for putting in the garden soon. Did a little exercise with small weights.

That was mostly it exercise wise.

Will also not count steps on migraine days and may lower the amount of km i want to do on the stationary bike if i keep on having crysis.

Marina, so sorry about the migraines.

Hope you can get your hour at the gym this week.

I was actually able to walk OUTSIDE and am well over the 5,000 steps for today. Good thing because the shot in my left knee requires 24 hours of "babying that knee by resting it. I've put ice on it and now to go back to my good book.

Goal: 500 minutes of gym time

11/3: 30 min cardio on Arc trainer, 30/500

Man I was just exhausted today. It took everything in me to finish that half hour on the Arc trainer. Was gong to do strength too but I was feeling too week. Tomorrow!

Welcome, love2garden and nonameslob!

love2garden: I do strength-training in the winter so that I am capable of gardening in the spring, too!

Goal: 1200 min including 8 strength-training sessions

1: 30 walk; 30/1200
2: 25 dance & stretch; 55/1200
3: 30 walk, 5 dance & stretch, 15 ST; 105/1200

kelijpa 11-04-2014 07:22 PM

My goal is 1500 minutes

11/1-35 35/1500 walk (-15)
11/2-30 44 109/1500 walk jog (+9)
11/3-off (-41)
11/4-23 46 178/1500 walk jog (-22)

So today I was thinking about ways to make sure I make goal this month, I figured I have to average 50 minutes a day to make 1500, so that kind of motivated me today to think if I don't get a walk in at work, that's really putting me behind for the day, I think I'll try keeping track of where I'm at, see if it motivates me or becomes a chore.

good luck and keep at it everyone

Best to all :sunny:

Jez: I have a FitBit One and I like it. Although, I must admit, the novelty has worn off. At the moment, I'm still wearing it but never looking at the results! I want to keep the habit because I think I'll want to incorporate it into my goals next month or in January.

Goal: 1200 min including 8 strength-training sessions

1: 30 walk; 30/1200
2: 25 dance & stretch; 55/1200
3: 30 walk, 5 dance & stretch, 15 ST; 105/1200 1/8ST
4: 30 walk, 5 dance & stretch; 140/1200

FeraFilia 11-05-2014 12:26 PM

Goal: 100 miles walked by November 30.

1 - 1.4 miles
2 - 1.3 miles
3 - 1.1 miles
4 - 6.4 miles

I've been battling a cold the last few days. Powered through it for over 6 miles yesterday! :)

Edit to add: I have a Fitbit One. I got it at the end of May and have worn it every day (except one, I think) since I got it. I don't wear it over night anymore, because the wrist band kept falling off or getting caught on pillows/blankets, but I wear it from the time I get up until I get in bed at night. I'll probably be upgrading to one of their newer models in the spring. :)
