I'll be looking at 10 lbs in January which would put me at 253. Lofty, but beginning a diet usually does well at least at first. We shall see. It will be tempting to go out to eat at the end of the month and it would be bad.....really bad... I'm still sorta pre programmed to reward with food, I know its a bad habit.
Hi everyone! Happy to be starting the January challenge, thanks for putting it together Joy
I'm glad that it's the new year, and I can focus on my resolutions to stay tough this month. It looks like I'll probably stay in the same decade and not hit any mini goals, so I may need that to stay strong. My goal this month is 5 lbs again.
Happy New Year's Eve Everyone! Have fun and be safe tonight!
to all the newcomers! It's good to have you! And great to see so many returning members!
Joy, I forgot to mention earlier than I want to lose 6 lbs, but I will wait until tomorrow to give my start weight. I'm still hoping I can shed that one last pound to start 2014 at 40 lbs down!
Happy New Year's Eve!!! Count me in! This month I would really like to lose 6 pounds...not lose 3, gain 4...lose 2 gain 3 like I did in December. AAaaargh! Will weigh in tomorrow...hoping I don't totally lose control tonight!
Be safe all of you that have parties and celebrations!!
I'll weigh in tomorrow and then every Monday after that. My soft goal for January is to get into onderland and stay there, but really I'd like to drop an even 10lbs by the end of the month.
I will definitely be up for this challange. Not yet plucked up the courage to weight myself but what ever the damage I will aim to start off with half a stone, then any more than that is a bonus. I will weigh myself tomorrow and let you know how I get on.
If I may I'd love to jump back in and join for the January challenge and will put myself down for 7 pounds.
I think I last reported in towards the end of November and skipped December because for some reason I'm not as eager to post when the numbers are going up (although i still follow the threads). It defeats the purpose of the accountability, doesn't it, however, I will say that when I am on plan, I do find this thread a fantastic motivator to keep going so thanks in advance for taking me back!
I was hoping to start my year year at 150...but I don't think The Whoosh Fairy will whisk away 2.2 pounds (and she seem to have moved on from my house). One can only hope
I lost nearly 15 pounds in 2013, I am hoping to drop 25 lbs in 2014 and finish this weight loss journey and enter into the wonderland of maintenance.
HAPPY NEW YEAR to all of you from the past month's challenge, and to everybody else joining this month.
My goal is to lose 2,7kg in January, which basically is the weight I put on during December. I decided to only weigh-in weekly from now on (with Friday being my weigh-in day) but I will check in daily reporting calories and exercise. You are a very encouraging bunch of people, and thank you all very much for helping me stay accountable.
I hope everybody slipped into the New Year well - I had a great Raclette dinner with friends and then when to a party. Fireworks are really big over here in Germany, but it was super foggy and even though we were on a hill overlooking the city, the only firework we saw was 50m down the road. Got to hear it till 1am though
I'll go back to bed now and try to sleep off the hangover - have a great day everyone!!
Hello all, happy 2014, looking forward to success for everyone!!
I was pleasantly surprised by my weigh in, especially after eating way too much for dinner last night, if you were on last month you know I was shooting for this yesterday, but I'll definitely take it for today!
