I use to celebrate Friday's, but now that I have these "long" training days on Saturdays, I don't feel as celebratory on Friday, but more like I need to spend time to mentally wrap my head around what I'm going to have to do tomorrow. It feels strange to not be so happy and relieved that it's Friday!
I had the fastest workout pace yesterday. It was just a few weeks ago that the same route took me 50 minutes, and it only took 32 minutes! That's a huge improvement!
W: Water tasted so good to me yesterday!
E: "Active Rest" day - I'll do some core work and stretching.
E: I feel like I ate a lot yesterday, but my log indicates it was within limits.
D: Reflect today by looking outward, rather than by looking inward.
Day 1- 1480 calories no workout. 179.4
Day 2- 1654 calories 30 min. treadmill run and 35 min. weight room 178.4
Day 3- 1564 calories 30 min. treadmill run and 30 min weight room. 178.4
Day 4- 1477 calories No workout 179
Thought cutting back on a no workout day would help. Guess not.
W: Long run day ensures plenty of water.
E: No appetite again, these are great for portion control!
E: 65 minute run with the training team, should be good!
D: You are lapping people who are, and even some who are not, on the couch!

Now do you all see what I'm talking about?? Maybe I just need to hit 1600 calories a day. I don't even know.
Mindy, what do your calories consist of? Is your eating cleaner some days than others? More water, less salt?
I am in the same boat, but I know my enemy is the booze. Need to skip my evening drink. Today's my day to start back in with that full force. My youngest just left to go back to college. Will be at least 6 weeks til he's home. I am going to do my damndest to be down 20 pounds by the next time I see him. (he is very into fitness and it would thrill him if I got it together.)

All meals home cooked except for 5 chicken nuggets on the run. cereal or eggs, steak or chicken with veggies, protein bar when I workout, fruit. Pretty good stuff. Maybe I will start listing it.
I always heard it is a simple equation...burn more than you take in. Wish that worked.
W - 64oz
E - Track all day and stay on plan
E - Complete interval video w/Jonathan(Live if possible)
D - Always, bear in mind that your own resolution to succeed is more important than any other one thing.
@Mindy "5" nuggets? Did one fall on the floor? LOL! Just joking with you!
Has anyone tried that Garcinia Cambogia (aka Citrimax) product? I bought some because Dr. Oz did a promo for them, and I *think* he's pretty reliable, isn't he?
When I researched it further, there seems to be a lot of fluff to Dr. Oz's hype.
Just mildly curious. He's generally considered reputable, isn't he?
W: I'm thirsty today\
E: eating cabbage salads, they are crunchy-goodness!
E: Active Rest day, going for a long stroll along the river today.
D: Those who matter, don't mind.

I didn't watch his show, but they have an excerpt from his how on the website for the product, with "experts" testifying to the benefits. My dad's girlfriend talks about what she learns on Dr. Oz all the time, and I figured since he was an Oprah spinoff, there was something to his recommendation. I have no idea who he is otherwise, he doesn't exist as far as German television culture is concerned!
I tried it yesterday for dinner, and it definitely squashed my desire to eat more than what stopped me from being hungry, and then I didn't even think about a snack before bed, except when I noticed I hadn't thought about a snack before bed! I like that I didn't want to eat after dinner, but time will tell if any of the other claims are true - although I'm 100% satisfied with the squashing of the late night snack urges!
W: good, but felt thirsty all day
E: "speed work" in the evening with the training group
E: Had extra protein today to compensate for the pending workout
D: One mountain at a time.
W: Keeping better track due to increased thirst and decreased trips to the bathroom.
E: My portions are great and my late night snacking was absent again last night!
E: Speed work was a tough, but good workout. The core work after is becoming less of a chore. Nice!
D: Just do it!
