November Exercise Challenge
Let's make November, MOVEmber! What are you going to do this month for exercise? State your goal and track it throughout the month with a supportive and knowledgeable group. We'll help each other meet our goals.

Since it looks like I'm going to meet my goal of 1600 minutes in October, I'll go for that again in November. I'm going to add in a strength training element by also challenging myself to do one of my DVDs that feature ST at least 15 times in November.

It is time for me to stop procrastinating with exercise and JUST DO IT. For November, I will be walking at a brisk pace for 30 minutes 5 days a week.That'll get me ready for the C25K which I'll complete during December and January. I will incorporate weight training as well, but I haven't decided on when and what I'll do.

Hi! I am doing the November weight loss challenge and this chalenge can only help me reach my goals :) My exercise challenge is to go to the gym 5 days a week for at least an hour each time! If I cant reach the gym for whatever reason then i would like to walk/jog/cardio of some kind for at least an hour in its place.

Happy, happy, happy to see the November thread!:carrot::carrot: I've been doing minute and workout challenges and while I have been more successful than I ever imagined, haven't met my goal(s) the last two months. This time around I'm forgoing minutes and number of workouts and focusing on running mileage. For November my goal is 50 miles running. I'll also include other workouts if done, but I'm focusing on running this month.

I have stayed on plan this week with my workouts and I had a really great session today (4 miles with WATP = about 1 hour and a strength-training video = 30 mins) so I'm really feeling it. Still going to continuing working out throughout the weekend etc. Have a nice weekend!

I started exercising again November 1st after way too long so this seems like the perfect challenge for me. I've just re-started C25K, my goal is to do it 3-4 times a week, with a total running time for the month to be 165 minutes. I've edited the workout so I do each day twice as I suck at running.

Is it too late to join this? Starting tomorrow do Insanity as well as my Zumba classes.....some light resistance training and yoga two to three times a week. Sounds like a lot but it is doable.....

I would like to join this thread! My goal is to exercise every day this month. My plan is CDs in the morning, treadmill instead of couch in the evenings, walks with dogs, stretches at work all day long.

Today was rough, I almost gave up on working out completely. Halfway into my 30 min cardio workout, I was just so bored out of my mind that I shut it off. Then I went into my lower body pilates, which went pretty well, but I couldn't keep my balance or keep up with the moves, so overall it just felt like a waste of a day.
By the evening, I was still upset that my workout had gone sour, on top of my eating being iffy the past few days. So after dinner I walked out to the track by my house (I live by a high school) and did a 4.0 mph power walk for 2 miles. Gotta push through! |

I did my 51 minutes of running in place, with high knee intervals, then did a 9 minute arm toning exercise right after. |
