Oh sweet, another challenge. :D
Like I said on another thread, I hope to be 265 by Thanksgiving. Let's hope I make it through the holiday after that! |
ooh yeah cukes in sour cream--yum! oh well I guess it will be yogurrt for me. Yes there are cukes in the garden, more than we can eat. I made gazpacho yesterday and had a huge tomato and cucumber salad for lunch.
and it pays off!! I was at 245.5 this morning which is down a pound from yesterday and makes it 2.5 lbs for the week and 20 lbs since August 1! I am well on my way. hope everyone is fine--must be a busy week for us! sno |

Hello just learning my way around here . Would like to be 175lbs by Thanksgiving started out @ 225.

Sno I love cucumber and tomato salad with red onions. Yummy. DH made sweet pickles a few years ago with lemon cucumbers. Very yummy. They did not last long. :)
I was down to 238 on Sunday but have not made much progress since. I weighed today and 238.5. Maybe TOM . I will just on plan and hope for a whoosh. Yesterday was bad. I work 12 hours and I ran the whole day. I had 1/2 my lunch at around 2pm. DH made me dinner which is nice. After eating that at 8pm I was still 600 calories below my goal. I also did not drink my water. Oh well move on right. So I am tired and hungry today :) Welcome 1spunkygal and coolacrity. |
Day 29. I kind of went over a few hundred calories yesterday. I didn't eat junk food. I ate nuts, which are great for magnesium, but a little caloric. On to today, and staying off the scale.

SO glad this Challenge is here as I see the Halloween candy already in stores - first hurdle, and jeez H'ween is over SIX weeks from now. Wish I could wear blinders, like they used to put on horses, to the grocery store! Used to be my weakness but seem better able to resist it than I used to. Credit the Forum for that, I think!!!!! |
Yes, Halloween is right around the corner, but thank God, I'm more excited about the kids coming to my house to trick or treat! I love Halloween... the decorations, the costumes and the excitement of the party I've been invited to. The holidays are my favorite! :)

This is a great weight loss goal for me because i'll be traveling to NY to see my bf for thanksgiving.. Its a long distance relationship and sure would be nice to lose some weight before I see him again. My goal will be to reach 190lbs by the 9/22. Thats an average of 2lbs a week. Hope I can make it!! :) |

Hi all!
took myself out to lunch yesterday and had a delish lunch with a rich dessert. boy was I sick to my stomach the rest of the day. couldnt eat a thing. still at 245.5 when I woke up this am so I didnt do too bad. My weight seems to be coming off as fast if not faster when I have a off plan meal. I think I am going to schedule those in for part of my plan. if it stops working I will reassess. so for 10 more weeks if I lose 2 lbs a week I would be 225 at thanks g. that would be a huge relief. welcome to spunky, lesbay and mnemosyne! glad to have you with us--the energy of the posts carries us through I think. Lishar: dont eat too little-I think that slows the metabolism. tyla: nuts are kinda hard to resist, huh? I can also get a little scary about sunflower seeds. good for you but so easy to overeat. mountain; yeah--I love that candy--cant deny it. but I realized lately that I like size 12 even better! take care all and keep posting!! sno |

Hello Ladies. Happy Friday. I am down .5lb today so 237.5. I am hopeful that a whoosh is coming. Not much new here except staying on plan. I took Wednesday off exercising and felt better. I was so tired after working Tuesday and not eating enough. I just got back from the Y. Walked 3 miles and I will say I am tired.
Sno Sorry you had an upset stomach from your desert. I have read having an offplan meal here and there is a good thing. I know I was upset about my calories but I was so tired and just wanted to go to bed. Not try and find 600 calories right before bed. KWIM Lesbay Welcome. Tyla and Mountain Momma- I have not thought about halloween until just now. I guess I will have to buy the candy I don't like. :o. This will be a test for me. I love eating my kids candy. Tyla I read somewhere that if you eat over one day look at the calories for the week and it will even out. Just eat a few less the next day. Does that make sense? Have a great weekend everyone. |
