Jeanettey, Here's a few motivational quotes that I hope will help you!

It's not whether you get knocked down; it's whether you get up.

and

You don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.

Your weight loss has inspired and your mid-week challenges have helped many platoon members. Be proud of your accomplishments and get back on track. The sooner the better.

Put some thought into your mid-week challenge this week and choose something for us that will help get you going.

Sheet is updated.
@Sumner & Kateleestar are on now. Welcome!
If something doesn't work, let me know. I checked and everything seems fine but you never know.

@loose seal - you need to show us some love before you get your own tab (i.e. stick around, post, pledge, lose etc.). You can use the form for weekly weigh ins though.

I think I will stop asking around who wants to stay on the sheet. No point in making everybody who is doing a good job answer to that every time. I will keep an eye on who isn't updating their tab and if somebody misses a bunch of weeks I will hide the tab first, delete or reuse it later. Usually I can tell who deserted us. Booo! :-(

Josey- I'm not doing weekly weigh-ins anymore- just monthly along with the bodpod. Please don't delete mine. :)

ennay 12-05-2011 11:03 AM

Jeanetty - take two minutes and pretend someone else asked the same question you did....what would you tell them?

OK, off to pack the kids lunches, get them to school and get to the gym. dh had to leave early this morning so I didnt go early.

Ok. Can you please update your sheet with the same weight every week until you weigh again? Then I know you are around. Thanks!

Ugh - hungry today. I know why, it's because I had a binge last night (accurately tallied in my tracker) and that always throws me off. Will be a little bit of white knuckling it today

Gym: 15 min elliptical, 20 minute circuit with kettlebells and medicine ball ending with my 1 burpee, 30 minute recovery run, 15 minute elliptical.

I hear ya on the "white knuckling". After the night off for Christmas partying on Saturday night which included all kinds of things I don't usually eat (I'm looking at you, cake!) today is shaping up to be full of white knuckling to get back on track. It's really amazing the immediate effect of some foods (SUGAR) and how quickly your body can go back to craving them.

Oh, did I mention I hit normal BMI this week? 24.98!!! :carrot: :carrot: :carrot:

sumnerfan 12-05-2011 05:05 PM

Awesome job Josey. Thanks for all you do around here to keep things going.

Jeannettey- hang in there, you really are an amazing woman and even though I haven't participated in your challenges, I look for them every week. You are so important to this group.

Thanks guys! You are a great part of my success!

I went to Zumba tonight and tried to do pilates after, but I couldn't hang. I only made it through about 20 minutes before I left. I felt like such a loser leaving, but I just couldn't do it. I think I'm going to just stick with the zumba on Mondays until after the new year. Then I might try pilates again.

Jeanettey- I'm with you. November has been a spinning my wheels kinda month. But staying around people who are still losing and TRYING has kept me hanging on. The wagon may be dragging me behind it, but at least I'm still moving. One day the gears will click again. You have accomplished something amazing! 69 pounds gone forever! And you've managed to do that while chivying the rest of us along with you. I recently found it motivating to carry a 20 pound bag of cat litter through an isle at Wal-mart. It was only to my cart, but it reminded me of what it felt like when that 20 pounds couldn't be put down.

Josey- Way to go! :bravo: Congratulations! *fireworks* The BMI is a huge accomplishment! That totally deserves a happy dance.

Finished W1D2 workout of E210K and Day 1 of the burpee challenge.
