Awesome poster Chesh! Just the way to start the day!

And here's Sarge's favorite quote of the day ... so far ... per Paula in Sarge's Fitocracy Boot Camp:

"I'm going to spend all morning working out! Then later in the afternoon I'll exercise!"

Makes Sarge feel so warm and fuzzy...

Last nights trip down memory lane made Sarge go back into the Boot Camp archives and thinks some of the early stuff needs repeating. Here's an image to keep you going at the gym today!

Have a great butt-er melting day!

I read a great line yesterday.....

The sweat you see when working out is the fat crying.

Go torture that fat!

Thanks for the props on the BL challenge. K3LL3Y - you did an amazing job with a 13% loss too!!!

As for the percentage of fat/carbs/protein I'm currently dipping my toes into the Paleo style of eating (and feeling amazing, BTW). Over the past month, I've done a lot of research into the conventional nutritional wisdom and started to see more and more evidence compelling me to try this different way of eating for a while.

I'd say so long as those fats are coming from healthful sources such as nuts, olive oil, avocados, eggs, etc. then having a higher percentage isn't really an issue if your other macronutrients are in line. If a lot of that fat is coming from dairy, from large amounts of saturated fat without a proper omega-3 to omega-6 ratio or from vegetable/canola oil THEN I would be concerned about the percentage of calories coming from fat.

@Peanutt - Congratulations! WTG! I love that quote you posted (The sweat you see when working out is the fat crying.) I should add that to my siggy. Any idea who said that?

Ohoh, sounds like Paula is serious. I have to up my exercises tonight!

I just went to my chiropractor and he made me step on the scale again. Tsk, every time now he wants to see how I progress. Well, at least I don't fear the scale anymore and today I was actually 2 lbs under my weigh in on Sunday. Woot Woot! He is seriously impressed. :-)
