I am using Safari and it is a little wonky. I don't do IE ;-) I am a Machead!
Do you get error messages or does it not load?
doesn't load...i was able to sign up with a password, but then the next page only shows one thing...a box to click that says totally new to fitness..or something like that...then on to step 2, but it wont go to step 2 haha, guess it was just not meant to be haha rut roh, is that an excuse??? :::ducking::: from sarge hahaha
I have no issue with it on firefox. I'm sursure)e (well pretty there are mac and windows versions of firefox..I know firefox runs on linux. Maybe try firefox? (im a mozilla girl anyway hehe)
josey...yes reloaded, re-booted...still the same.
dreamer...yeah, this old gal is from the stone ages of IE!! heehee and lucky to know how to do that! hahaha
Rainbow. Firefox is actually a LOT simpler than IE it also moves faster and is safer. My dinosaur lappy wont load IE but it will load mozilla. Just go to google and search "firefox" and the download page will come up it will walk you through installing it.
Sorry that some are having a tough time with Fitocracy. It might be better to wait a few days, they are making lots of changes to the site to improve it. Today they linked Runtracker or something like that. They are a growing company and haven't worked out all the bugs yet.
More importantly, looks like another "scheduled maintenance shutdown" here at 3FC today at 5pm PDT... you all will just have to put in the extra time you'd spend on the computer doing something sweaty...
Sarge is SO happy that so many have decided to continue their time here at bootcamp! I always knew there was room for a thread that just kicked as* literally and figuratively!
envelope: Yeah, it's really more like jogging. I want to complete a half marathon, but that seems so far away and unachievable . So, a 5K for now, maybe I'll change that goal afterwards. I hope I do!
Anon: Thanks for the encouragement, I can't wait to be able to do that!
Rainbow: Get Firefox, Chrome, Safari, any other browser, really. IE is really bad for users, but it is a nightmare for developers. I have to say I like Fitocracy a lot more knowing they're not wasting their time working around all of its endless flaws.
Sarge: I read that they integrated with RunKeeper this morning, but I don't know how that will work yet. I have an account there since I got their app on my phone, it tracks workouts. It would be great if we could upload the workout info to Fitocracy automatically. Logging everything there all the time gets old.
