    I've been successfully (I think) tracking calories, and I am seeing a little success for it. I have high hopes for tomorrow...
  • This month's goal is coming ..but slow 247.4.

    Not sure if I'll make my goal but I'm OP & out of my tailspin from the last 7 months
  • Well I'm down .5lb and no inches for the week boo! Oh well 199 is good so I'll take it!
  • Thank you for the kind words, ladies. I really do appreciate it. I've been struggling physically and emotionally to feel good, and I'm just really hoping that soon I'll start feeling more like my usual self. The good news is that I've been tracking my intake and sticking within my calorie limits, and the scale is back down to about where I was when I found out about the pregnancy - so I still have a small (2.4 lb) loss for this month so far. After today's weigh-in, I'm even thinking that it might still be possible to get to my 4th of July goal, though that will be dependant on getting the ok from my Dr. this week to start exercising again. Still, it's something to work toward and look forward to, which I need right now. And then, it's really going to be ON for July, as I'm still determined to get to onderland by my birthday at the end of the month.

    Louisa: Great to see you again! Do keep checking in, and then jump right into the fray for July. We look forward to supporting you through those last 10-15 lbs!

    PacSunMama: Keep going and fighting through the end of the month!! However close you get to goal, you'll still start July ahead of where you started June, and that is definitely an accomplishment.

    susie: You're doing great; keep at it! Getting back on track and staying there is HUGE. A lot can happen in these last 5 days!

    rmc: What a huge loss you've already had this month - way to go!!!

    Ferumbras: You said you've been "back up"; is it possible you're just holding on to some water weight due to TOM or something else? Either way, you've been doing great, so just keep working at it... if it is water weight, it will whoosh off at some point, and then you'll have one of those really happy scale days.

    NightAngel: Checking in is a good way to get back on track. Make these next 5 days ones you can look back on and say that you really pushed yourself - and then you can start off July lower than you are today.

    carved: I know 0.5 lbs is slower than you'd like, but you're still down this week. 198 is just around the corner...

  • Hmmmm, WI today at 209.4, so that leaves me 3.6 pounds to lose to fufill my 10-pound goal! I don't know that I can do it, but I have 5 days to get my sweat on and see just how big of a dent I can put in that number!

    I am a procrastinator and I do work well under pressure. Wonder if my body does too?
  • Well down .5 pound (198.5) today guess the scary amount of exercise yesterday conquered the corn chips I overly snacked on after lunch Got in a great workout this morning before breakfast and OP so far hope to see another drop soon

    PacSunMama: You can get darn close anyway, and then next month is Onederland. yay!

    I went to a wickedly indulgent food/drink event last night, as well as a daytime party with good food, and still was down .4 pounds to 150.2, so I'm very happy, and hoping that my hangover won't require too much greasy food today... Have a good week everyone.
  • Okay, bummy. I ate well yesterday, but the decadence of the night before came back to bite me in the gut (that's where my fat lives). This morning I was up 1.4 pounds. But I exercised like a banshee this morning and I'm praying that a birthday celebration tonight doesn't lead me astray...

    How's everyone else doing in these last few days of June?
  • Down another .5lb today!! Brings me to an even 30lb loss
    Worked out like crazy the last few days and I've been really watching what I eat the last few weeks with a few minor blips haha I wish I hadn't fell off the wagon last night on the bright side I managed to only nibble on everything so not too many extra calories added but still not cool oh well
  • YES! Baby went through a growth spurt and I hope so badly my scale isn't wrong (I weighed 3 times because I was stunned) and I'm down to 205.4! That means I just whooshed in right past my goal! YAY!

  • I am happy to announce I am down another .5lb today Putting me .5lb away from being in the overweight and out of the obese BMI range whoo!

    Pacsunmama congrats! I read your blog quickly have you cut back your calories yet? I can remember breast feeding and trying to lose weight it seems like a hundred years ago If your going to cut back calories a bit I would still snack a little in the evening if your still doing night time feedings. Whatever your doing seems to be working
  • Yeah I need to update that! I have cut back so I aim for 1750 per day, but if I'm hungry I have no problem going up to 1950ish. Thanks for looking!! I haven't been updating much because it's been so busy at our house lately!!
  • Well last check in for June!! Going away for the weekend I'm going to do some hill walking with my mom I'm hoping that will counter act the beer I'm going to drink no junk food though I've already decided that...lets see if I can stick with it!
    Not completly sure how much I've lost for the month I think it's 3.5pounds not a whole lot but it's all been within the last 1.5 weeks so I'm happy with that...who knew you eat well and exercise and you loose weight?

    Finished the month at 197lbs

    Will do a weigh in and take my measurements on Monday after we get back for July start weight. Looking forward to kicking butt next week while I'm on holidays too
