Luscious by labor day
 
One of the things that keeps me on track, or lets me know when I need to get back on track are the challenges. I participate in other challenges like the independence day challenge and sarge's no excuse boot camp; the easter challenge just ended so I thought, why not do a long term goal challenge? Thus was born Luscious by labor day. My goal is to get to 260/259 by independence day but that may not happen at this rate :p I would like to see 250/249 by labor day which is sept 5th. Who is with me?

I liked the idea of using a spreadsheet like we did for the easter challenge so here it is. Luscious by Labor day Spreadsheet

I'd love to be at 130 point something for labour day! I start my second year of uni the day after so it would be awesome to surprise all my old school buddies with my new body! :-)

Is it too late for me to join in? If not, I'm aiming for onederland by Labor day. I'll be going to a weddinig in Seattle that weekend and it would be so nice to reach this goal by then.

My current weight is 225 and I'd like to be at 199.

Great job on doing the 30 day shred. You WILL complete it :carrot: I have the DVD but have never opened it.

I'm on day 4 being back OP. So far so good. I did Hip Hop Abs on Tuesday and the Firm yesterday. Today I'll probably just have time for a quick walk.

Driven - Me either!!! I'm like wanting it to be sunday already I think we can ALL do this! i also do sarge's boot camp to summer and the 100 day 100% challenge so lots to keep me on track!

To all you 30 day shredders how is it? I was thinking about getting it, but I often dont have time/room to do dvd's (I live with people who only tell me I can't do this and make fun of me when I do exercise in front of them) I'm thinking i might get it and do it whenever they are all in their rooms.

Hello all!! I'd love to join this challenge! ;) I'm hoping for 166 by Sept 5-6- that is 32.8lbs, will be out of obese category by then.

SMS and everyone else regarding 30 day shred- I had a hard time doing it at first-there's a lot of jumping up and down and it hurt my jiggly stomach at first. Oh yea, make sure you wear a well fitted sports bra or wear a good bra with sports bra over it to keep the girls in place. I read that people did not like Level 1 at first so they skipped it and went on to Level 2. I just started Level 3 today- ohhhh man, it KICKED my butt, legs, etc! LoL I have to say I have a love and hate relationship with 30 day shred. :) For this dvd, you will need a pair of free weight dumbbells, 3-5lbs or just use soup cans.

SMS- Ugh, the people you live with does not sound supportive at all!! I would just ignore them and focus on yourself, easier said than done, I know but your health and well being is important. ;) You do need some room for the dvd and it is only 27-28 minutes (including warm up and cool down.)

Amandie - Thanks for letting me know, I have the dvd in my living room might just need to do it late at night. No, they aren't supportive, mainly out of jealousy, we are all overweight here. My mother is 4" shorter and about 100 lbs heavier so meh. I defo need to find a way to do some dvd's I think. I definitely just ignore them but still. Kinda would rather avoid them altogether you know?

Ok I'm in... Although I will be going on a cruise in may so that will be a little "break" but even with that I believe I can get to 190 which is 30lbs by labor day!!!

One can only hope eh gettinfit? LOL Glad your day ended well. I did do the 30 day shred last night at about 11:30 pm and hoooowweee is it a workout. I didnt do alot of the jumping stuff cause everyone was sleeping but yea.....WOW.

Hopefully today is AWESOME for all!

i'm gonna jump on the "250 by labor day" bandwagon!

i'll be moving to a new area, and starting a new job and i know 250 isn't slim by any stretch of the imagination (unless you're like, 15 feet tall) but it's definitely an improvement over my current weight of 276!

i'm keeping the foods light today too. i've had a serving of cashews (i counted out the 43 pieces!), some of the leftover meatballs from my bridal shower last night, and a TON of water. my bladder is yelling at me.

thanks! my doctor yelled at me when i went in on march 14th, so i started my diet on march 15th. i'm hoping by june when i go in for my appointment i can be more than 30lbs down because she said "well you could diet and exercise..." like it would be impossible for me! pfft...

my brain is wired in such a way that if you tell me i can't do something, i will prove you wrong just to be contrary.
