    Okay no loss this week, beats me why . . . but hey at least it's not a gain. Still sticking to plan 100% so at least one of my goals are on track.
  • Hey Chicklets, sorry I've ditched this whole month so far. It's been cuh-razy--still is, but that is the life I create for myself. Live it and love it, or change it, right?

    I have yet to get into the 140s this month, just keep riding the low 150s like a pole dancer, lol. I've got TOM visiting right now and I've been ravenous--don't know if it's real or if I'm using it as an excuse. I also was jumping rope last week and felt my knee go pop. So I've been taking it easy. I'm feeling like the motivation is coming soon, as it warms up and the extra clothes have to come off!

    Keep up the good work everyone and thanks for being here when I drop in!
  • Hey everyone! New here, and I'm hoping to make some progress. There are still many days left in april, and I want to get into the 140's sooo badly.

    So my goal is to get into 140's by end of this month.

    Louisa, I think we have similar stats. Very nice to see u here!
    Chickadee, awesome weightloss this month!!

    My TOM started today, so I'm not sure what to expect in terms of weightloss in a week from now. Everyone says you get a woosh, but I am also recovering from a several day bingefest which ended about 6 days ago, and it made me gain 5 pounds, (I was 151.5 and went to 156).

    I'm now at 154 or so, so hoping to just stay consistent and get accountable with you all.

  • Lani: Good job staying on plan even when the scale isn't moving. You'll see the work pay off, sometimes we just have to wait a few extra (frustrating!) days for it. And thank you!

    Louisa: I hate that ravenous feeling! Hopefully it will be gone in a day or two for you. Be careful with your knee, and do some arm weights in the meantime!

    I'm 5lbs down of my 10lbs goal. I don't think I'll get there - next month I might be a little less ambitious.
  • Hey ladies! A quick check-in to say I'm still here. I'm only down about a pound for the month, but sadly, I'm happy with ANY movement downward at this point. It has been SO busy and I can just carve out enough time in the day to keep up with some basic exercise and food planning, so I'm trying.

    Only down .5lb not even sure what that makes it for the month oh my word this month just passed me by haha I think I'm down 2.5-3lbs so half way to my goal. I've really stepped up the workouts again and I'm trying hard to stay on plan Hope everyones week is going well!!
  • OhMyDogs and Chickadee - Way to go! Please pass on any advice.

    Myself, well, I've FINALLY broke through the 195 plateau this week, 193 on Tuesday... what a struggle! Guess I won't make my goal of 8 lbs this month, but I'm SO happy to have broken through and see the scale moving again. So, I'm just working toward another 2 this month, and 8 more by Memorial day.
  • Hey April Ladies! I'm loving the updates-- so awesome to see all this hard work going on. Congrats OhMyDogs and chickadee82 on reaching your goals!

    I've been MIA for a week or two. What was a cheat day turned into a cheat daze. I righted myself the last few days by controlling my portion sizes and stepping away from the beer (craft beer is so good but soooo full of empty calories...) So, I'm still at 214. There's no way I can safely make my 8 lbs by the end of the month, but I am shooting for 2lbs. Attainable as long as watch my food and track my extra walking. Then, May!
  • weigh in day today, thanks to a woosh this week I stand at 9.2lbs loss of my 10lbs goal - excited! However my body looses chunks of weight then stalls for a couple of weeks, so I'm hoping that I can break it out of that habit and drop the last 0.8lbs next week

    MsP: It's super hard to stay on track when you're that busy, so if you're maintaining or losing at all you're doing a good job!! Sticking with it through the busy time will keep your spirits up, and when you have more time you'll be ready to focus again.

    carved: A loss is a loss! I hope the rest of the month goes well for you.

    Gwen: Yay!! Way to work through the tough spot... I hope it feels easier through the next several pounds.

    scout: No more beer! 2 lbs is a good goal for the rest of the month... remember how satisfied you'll feel when you make it happen! Btw, have I mentioned that I love your avatar? I always notice it.

    Lani: Awesome job! You're so close!! There is definitely still time for another whoosh before the end of the month... I will keep my fingers crossed that the scale cooperates for you!
  • It isn't looking like I'm going to make my goal of 5lbs. I'm at 3lbs lost as of today (and that was HARD FOUGHT). If I get one more off by the end of the month I'll be ecstatic. I've been completely on plan with calories & workouts, it's just really hard to lose anything at all these days.

    I did make it through my long weekend in Cali with girlfriends without a gain so that alone is a victory.

  • One pound lost since my last post! So 153 lbs!

    Hoping to get into 140's still. It will take a lot of hard work I know. Will keep u all updated.
  • Weighed in at 213 today. One more pound and I'll have dropped 4 this month--not near my goal of 8 lbs but progress still. Back on track calorie-wise (slacking a bit on my walking w/our crazy weather lately).

    chickadee--Thanks! And sage advice-- I feel great when I see progress, no matter how small.
