urockmom-Great to "see" you!!! I'm sure you'd prefer it be under different circumstances. How long were you able to maintain? I'm in limbo btw losing and maitenance. I'd like this to be the month I reach my goal and hold on, but it's vacation month, so I'm not going to stress over it.

VickieLou-This can be a fresh new start! Check in more on this or another 3FC thread to keep your focus and get the encouragement to make good choices. We're here for ya!

I'm planning meals for the rest of the week and our camping trip this weekend. I don't want to be super restrictive on the trip because the kids are dying for s'mores around the campfire (Heck, so am I!), so I'm shooting for a good balance. Some treats, but mainly healthy meals: Grilling turkey brats, fruit and healthy homemade muffins for breakfast, nuts and yogurt for snacks, and then making good choices when we eat out. I'll be doing my triathlon Sunday, so I'll be eating out (some low-fat pasta dish) the night before and the event itself should burn some good cals. All in all, I think I'm prepared.

Hey all! I will be at the zoo with my kids tomorrow (school fieldtrip), so I won't have time to post until night. Just wanted you all to know I'm so excited by all the ladies returning from previous challenges and I'm loving seeing all the newbies too!!!

We are absolutely gonna ROCK June and feel amazing for it! I'm sure tomorrow will throw me some challenges since I'm eating the lunch the school is providing and the girls will want every junky snack the zoo is selling, but I'll probably bring some healthy snacks to be prepared. I would guess the lunch will be a typical bag lunch with sandwich, chips and milk. That wouldn't be so bad. I could skip the chips if they're junk (sometimes they have decent varieties). Have a happy, healthy day!

MsP - the best thing about the zoo trip is that I assume you'll be spending a lot of time walking around - great excercise. I need to renew my zoo pass so I can get in some excercise there!

Okay, here I am. I'm starting with my June 1 weigh in of 172.4 and I'm shooting for a ten pound loss to put me at 162.4.

I'm going on a camping/float trip (that's a canoe trip to those of you not in the midwest) this weekend, with lots of people contributing food. Dangerous. I'll do my best, but I've been sucking at sticking with my resolve for this lately. Don't know what's wrong. Hope with TOM leaving I'll ditch that stupid three pounds that camped out for the last two weeks of May.

Let's hear it for inspiration and motivation. Hut hut hike, chicklets!

I was going to go to WW and weigh yesterday but didnt' get to, which is jsut as well, cause I've got to cancel my membership--going on a financial diet too.
So, I'll be depending on 3fatchicks for my 'meetings'

My scales here at home are about 3 lbs different than my weigh ins at WW.

My weight this morning is 196.5. I changed my ticker.

Yesterday was good. I stayed just below points and exercised for 20 min, and drank over 64 oz water.

I weighed in today.... up 2 lbs.

I am not upset, yet. I just hope this trend doesn't continue.

Here's to another good day!

Good Morning Everyone!!!

Thanks for all the warm welcomes. I am really looking forward to ROCKIN' it as Ms P says! Looks like you guys have also set challenging goals for yourselves so we are going to have to count on each other to stay on track!

MsP~Good luck at the zoo today. Sounds like you have got all your camping planning well in hand so I am sure that you can handle a one-day'r to the zoo without falling apart. Sorry to be the last to the party, but what distance tri are you doing? I was thinking about doing one last year but now that I have to get my butt back into shape, maybe I could use that as motivation. As for me, I was at maintenance for about a year before those bad habits started to creep back in. Just goes to show that you have to be ever vigilant!!!

MissChief~Great goal on those pushups! Can you really do 60 a day? Did you use some sort of program to build up to that????

Oh 2 be me~We are happy to be your meetings!!! And you don't even have to leave the house!

mizb 1978~Water. Water. Water. 2 lbs in one day when you've been OP and drinking is water. Will leave. Stay strong.

Terre~ OMG. Too funny! Had this vision of you out wandering around the yard eating everything. Excellent reminder for me though to get out there and harvest some strawberries for lunch.

Let's have a great OP day ladies! I am thinking of doing a new thing where I journal at least one positive change I make each day to make myself stronger and healthier. Anybody in?

Just a quick one this am. I'm up .6 pounds. I wasn't on plan last night because we had friends in town, but I didn't blow it. I'm frustrated, so I measured myself and have lost some inches. I noticed on the scale that although the weight isn't going down the body fat % is and the skeletal muscle % is going up (these are general trends, I record them but don't give much credence to the daily fluctuations).

urockmom: good to have you here. It's always nice to have more people watching your back and checking in on you! Strawberries, yum. I just had some on my granola. I run a CSA (I don't grow, just work with all the local farmers) and we've been overdosing our members on strawberries--get 'em while you can, I say. Blueberries and cherries are coming on next; I love this time of year!

terre: good for you for a back yard garden--you can't get any fresher and more local than your own back yard.

mizb1978: Your scale must be talking on the phone to my scale. It'll come back down, even sooner if you keep up the OP days.

Oh 2 be me: I've relied completely on the chicklets here on 3FC since I started in January. They've never let me down!

NightAngel: make your own tacos. They can be low cal (comparatively anyway) and satisfying. Use soft corn totillas heated right on your gas burner (low flame, flip them every couple of seconds), put in a half ounce of melty cheese and spoonful of sauteed mushroom, garlic and onions (sauteed in a tiny amount of olive oil--good and good for ya), then put a generous sprinkling of cilantro and maybe a squeeze of lime juice in. The only thing that could make that better is avocado, if you have room for the calories. DEE-lish!

Have a great day everyone.
