  • I'm a newbie, and I'd like to join you!

    I'm training for a half marathon, so my goal this month is to walk/jog 4 days per week. I have bellydance and yoga classes two days per week, and I'm giving myself a day of rest once a week. I hope to be able to walk/jog eight miles by Dec. 31.
  • Hey ladies, I'd like to join! My December exercise goals are pretty minimal, as I'm just getting back in the game. I want to

    1) Run/Walk a total of 30 miles, 20 of them running.
    2) Complete one 5k run.
    3) Recommence weight training and push-ups/sit-ups.

  • December Exercise Goals
    Okay, so I have been working out loyally for a while now and would like to have somewhere to track it. My December goals?

    1) Make it into the gym at least 4x a week
    2) Work out for at least 1800 minutes this month

    December 1st: Cycling class: 60 minutes, Cardio: 25 minutes, Abs: 5 minutes Total daily minutes: 90 minutes
    December 2nd: Cardio: 45 minutes, Resistance Training: 30 minutes Total Daily minutes: 75 minutes
    December 3rd: Cardio: 30 minutes (Stairmaster), Abs: 10 minutes, Cycling class: 60 minutes Total daily minutes: 100 minutes
    December 4th: Cardio: 20 minutes (Elliptical), Resistance Training (Personal Training w/ Janine): 30 minutes Total daily minutes: 50 minutes
    December 5th: Scheduled Rest Day

  • Well here goes another month hopefully I reach my goal this time. I realized with last month I probably set my minutes a little too high I guess I forgot that I would be gone for a few days and then it took a day or 2 to get back into the routine.

    Well! I haven't done any weight training yet, but I'd like to put on the record the fact that I have run every day this month, INCLUDING today and yesterday, when I was working 7a-7p and had to get up at 4am to go for a run!

  • Not going to be so good for the rest of the month. I've hurt my achilles tendon, and from doing some research general consensus seems to be absolutely no running during the acute recovery phase. So I think I'm out girls. I'm seeing my podiatrist today, so we'll see if she says I can walk at least.
