Hey ladies :( I would do personals but I dont think I can sit up for much longer. I woke up last night at like 2am and have been sick ever since. Im super stressed and need to get a ton of stuff done and on top of that Im now sick and cant even sit up for longer than 15min without feeling worse. I finally was able to get some sleep like an hour ago when an old friend of mine crawled in my bed and woke me up! UGH perfect timing Tiffany! I see her once every 4-5 months and she shows up on the day that im sick and FINALLY asleep. So much for my daily walk for sure this morning :( Heres hoping I will be better later and can get some stuff accomplished

AJ - I just came back from a trip a few years ago and had everything (my identity in my purse). I thought I was smart to lock my purse in my car trunk when I worked out (I forgot my lock) and left my car keys in my jacket and someone stole my purse and keys and left my car but I had to change everything, house locks, car locks, they used all my credit cards and I was getting new credit cards I hadn't used weeks later. Worst experience ever. I still suffer the after affects of it. So I am feeling your pain....
Sandy - nope I have changed anything else. I did some research on the internet and there are alot of other people that had reactions like me, so I guess my skin just didn't like luxury care. So I am staying clean and not wearing make-up today - ouch!!! Have a good day today and yeah for 208 this weekend. I hope to see some results on the scale too! Popcorn - the rain is killing me here - I have bad hair and a bad mood!!! Congrats on the buddy system that will help. A good friend of mine is moving to St. Louis in a few weeks and we were picking out a new warm winter coat for her...it's pretty mild where we live. So I get to visit sometime! |
Dance-I was at 204.0 today so 3 more day to make it to 203. Your chili sounds delicious. I might have to try that some time if you could share.
Mygrits-I have been taking it easy, no workouts for me. Oh well, soon I hope. 208 is yours!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AJ-I used to drink protein shakes all the time but havent in a while. I forget what kind they were though. I have thought about getting the biggest loser kind just to try them. Staccie-yay for fitting into your new pants. Your food sounds good, hope you dont stay dizzy all day. Ouch about your face, get rid of that stuff. Popcorn-that sucks about your finger. Arthritis in the knees run in my family, I have had bad knees since I was a child, the only way I can get them to stop hurting is to get them warm. Keep my fingers crossed that your boys keep you on track. Neesy-so excited for you, enjoy every minute with your hubby. Subway is always good when you dont know what you will get elsewhere. I really hope to catch up to you. I just want to see 203 this week. I know it wont be more with all my body has been through this week. Pam-so sorry you are sick, you need your rest so you can be better before you bf gets there. Still feel lazy, want to get some energy back! wow, girls - must be something in the air with so many folks having a hard time. So sorry to hear it but I know things will turn around soon.
staccie - I forgot you deserved a major happy dance for the too tight pants fitting: :dance: dance: :dance: !!!! WTG!! That must feel great. And good idea on taking back the expensive stuff if it doesn't agree with you. I wash my face with cheap neutrogena soap and it seems to work for me and not irritate anything. Cetaphil lotion is very mild and non-irritating if you need something to help you get over your allergic reaction too. I use it after I have acid peels and other harsh stuff done to my face. pammy - hang in there and take it easy today. Hope you feel better soon. neesy - the out to eat stuff is so hard - even when you're making super careful choices like you did, sometimes you just can't win. But you're totally right, this is life and we'll have to work around it. Have a wonderful time on your trip and enjoy your sight-seeing. mygrits - I'm planning on a run at lunch - nothing major but looking forward to it all the same. |
Thanks to every one with all of the support with my ID's. They are gone gone. Which makes getting a job in the next 30 days almost impossible. What ever. Moving on with my new day =)
Popcorn- I am so sorry about your hand. I have a bad strain in my right middle finger and it has been 4 months and it still aches. They can do blood work to tell if you have arthritis. Dance- That soup sounds amazing! And It makes me miss winter =) Its suppose to be 80 in Tempe today. I will be eating more ice. lol. Sandy- I had migraines when I was younger but I only get them bad about once a year or less now. My husband gets them so he had meds for me. Thank god for sharing meds. hah. And thanksgiving really snuck up on me too and we have 2 visitor coming to stay with us in our STUDIO. lol. I love love love hot fresh turkey though so I can't wait! Neesy- An egg mc muffin is only like 330 cals I think. I know it still sucks but you have managed this before on a trip and succeeded! Don't worry about weigh in. Worry about your hubby and the time you get to spend with him =) Pammy- I really hope you feel better. Thats terrible that you didn't get much sleep on top of it. *HUG* Staccie- OMG will you get to meet Steve Yzerman?? Lucky duck. Go team Canada this year!! Hockey is my sport! Its the best sport. The most humble. I know you love it too. And that sucks about your purse. I just hope its all lost not stolen. I haven't seen most of it since the move so it could just be lost in space ya know?? =( Rayne- Let me know how they are. I am convinced that protein and water are the key to weight loss and its the only way I get enough in. Or any really. Thanks for reminding me about the turkey. I have a 14lb turkey. 3 or 4 days do you think? I am still feeling my headache so I am just now approaching my first bit of food for the day. I am doing a shake and a grapefruit. I am going to have to do extra walking because of the soda last night. 1500 cals feel like too much. I mean not on paper but I was so full yesterday it just felt wrong!! |
Neesy- If I went back to school for nursing would you say go all the way with the RN or do you think I can find good employment with a LPN?

Neesy thanks for explaining about your husband. Sounds totally unfair for him to be punished for another guys actions - stupid actions I might add. Hopefully it will be cleared up quickly. I am so glad you get to see him though. Enjoy every minute! I bet you did feel gross with two fast food meals. I always feel like crap after that and I think some of it has to do with all the sodium in it. I feel bloated. Maybe stick with subway veggies, and if you go to a restaurant request that they grill the veggie with no butter. They will if you ask.
Pammy I am so sorry your sick and hope your doing better soon. How nice to see your friend, and maybe she was able to help you out while there with some soup or crackers?? Staccie sounds like a really long day for you. Any days I have over 7 hours at work is toooooo long. I absolutely brain dead on the 101/2 hour days...........ugh, I hate them. Sounds like you had a good workout though! Good for you!! Burgund good to hear from you and really glad to hear your doing better. I bet you will be up and around, plus working out soon. Do drinks like of water and try to avoid caffiene drinks, or soda's with tons of sodium ;-) AJ nothing wrong with sharing meds ;-) We have done that many times with antiobiotics and pain meds ;-) I am so glad your feeling better though. Turkey and tons of dressing is abolutely to die for!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love it Love it! Well today has been good and kindof a lazy day. I did my workout in, which felt awesome and then I have been basically lazy the rest of the day....LOL.... My calories are at 800, but I still have to eat dinner, so I will logg the total later. |

We had our holiday party for the students today. Everyone brought something in to eat. So, I splurged. It was preconceived, too. I feel bad, but I'm going to exercise tonight and continue on with my calorie counting. I was trying to add everything up, but the sad thing is that I don't even remember what I ate. I didn't have huge plates full of food, but I still had one plate of food that is not what I would eat when I'm watching what I'm eating. So, back on it again. I'll catch up later. |

Staccie - I would love to see your arse in St. Louis for a visit. Neesy - don't feel bad about the Chili's dinner. You tried to be good now you know better. I know what you mean about cheating and feeling like it wasn't even good enough to be worth it. Just focus on your upcoming trip and getting to see your hubby. I think as long as your sensible during the visit foodwise you will have done ok. AJ - I know what you mean about feeling full even though you haven't hit your calorie allotment for the day. Give it a couple of days and you should be into the swing of it. Sorry if I missed anyone - tomorrow will be a good day for all of us - I feel optimistic. I was totally happy when I got home tonight because the rain had stopped. That meant I got to take a 4.5 mile walk. Afterwards I immediately grabbed the fuzzy monster and got an additional mile in with him. So I walked 5.5 miles tonight. My butt muscles feel sore in a good way. Talk to you guys tomorrow. |

I am not good at posting to everyone at the same time, apparently, lol. I think I stayed close to my calories today, even with the party, now that I tried to add it all up. I also got in a three-mile walk, and I still have energy, so I think I'm ready to pump it up to four or five miles! Anyway, going to do homework. Catch you all tomorrow! Have a good night! |

My calories total for the day were 1595, which is fine since I did work out. I hope tomorrow shows 208, which means I could actually go below my weekly goal by Sunday! AJ I LOVE your new pic! You are so gorgeous! Alyssa is sounds like the food was delicous and hey, you deserve a plate! Since you walked, you may very well lose weight from today! You did great and should be proud of yourself. Heck, I would have had several plates - I LOVE holiday foods! Popcorn your bath sounds awesome. I could really use a calgon getaway ;-) I am so impressed with your workout 4.5 miles not including fuzzy!! WOW! You are my inspiration ;-) Well, I am signing off for the day. woohoo for the walkers - nicely done ladies!
I'm finishing a very late dinner now and am at 1200 for the day allowing for a couple of cutie clementines after dinner if I feel the need. Got a promotion at work (yes, you are talking to a woman who now finally has her own office, well not quite yet, but hopefully by next week!) so went shopping to celebrate and got a few treats that I didn't really need but really wanted including more yummy smelling bath stuff (right there with ya' popcorn!) and the most adorable 40s style cocktail hat http://www.bakersshoes.com/product.aspx?c=281&p=139676 which made me think of you, Lindy - aren't you doing a pin-up theme party for your b-day? Or did I totally make that up? You might want one of these hats or something similar :) Not sure where I'm going to wear mine - maybe for new years. G'night all... |
