Wow! We are up!!!!!!!!!! Woo Hoo!!!!!!!! I really missed you guys and starting stressing today from it! LOL.......I can't write much, because I just got home from work, need to go to bed to get up early and do it again - work that is in the morning.

Anyway, I ate tonight, but it was from stress and fatigue. I have been doing good, so I am not worried about it, because I needed a "I don't give a s***" evening. I weighed in at 210, and am really happy about that. Tomorrow is a new day ;-)

Neesy, I am soooo thrilled you are up spending some quality time with your husband ;-) You deserve it and so does he!

I will write more tomorrow night when I get home. I am excited for all of you weighing in tomorrow! Oh, Maddiesmom, love the new picture of you both. Adorable ;-)

Nite.

Hi ladies...lots of stuff to read - woo hoo!

I just got home from my nails getting done, window shopping - I didn't buy anything because I told myself I have to earn it. I have to earn it by doing good and seeing results. So, when I can fit into a pair of pants that I have that are too small - I get to buy a pair of grey boots.

Sandy - love your attitude too - tomorrow is always a new day

Pammy - you look great and you have such gorgeous healthy hair!! And I bet you will be even more sore tomorrow but what a great to way to get that V taper...and something different - that sounds fun for me! I love being outside and the smell of everything in it. Although once when I tried to chop logs, I chopped myself!

Vicky - congrats on the loss and the new pants...that is awesome. It feels so good. We are in the same size

Burgandy congrats on making good choices today! It feels great after doesn't it. Fingers crossed for your weigh in tomorrow. I agree, if we have to have it - then have it but if we can find a reduced version of it - even better. It leads to less obsession!

Neesy - congrats on the update for your husband, so happy for you! And living close to LV is tough, I live close to all the premium shopping - Gucci, etc etc - but until I get skinny - not going in there. And when I do get to where I want to be...oh watch out retirement funds It's not necessarily the label I like, I like the quality and fit of clothes like that - they are timeless, elegant and look awesome. I always say you get what you pay for, although I shop at a few stores that sell way cheaper stuff and it lasts just as long so who knows

Popcorn - thanks for the compliment on the picture - I am considering what to do with my hair again and that was one of my favorite cuts. I love it long, but it's so much work...

Well excited to see the weigh in's tomorrow....I'm going to watch a movie and eat some nuts (soy ones) - I wish they were some other kind, but hey, at least I can do it in my old lizard pj's

Check in tomorrow!

Good morning everyone!

Pammy - you look fantastic. It looks like you don't have anymore to lose. You should feel very proud of yourself that is an incredible weight loss. I cannot imagine having your height, I am a shrimpy 5'3".

Burgundy - you did darn good on that cookie walk. I would have eaten the cookies before we even got in the front door of the house. I have never frozen cookies - I eat them as if it is my civic duty. You will definitely make it to the 190's with that kind of willpower.

MaddiesMom - that is sooooo cool about the size 16 slacks. It is always fun to realize you are size smaller than you thought. Your little girl is adorable. Keep up the good work.

Neesy - that is great news about your husband. Plus I love your outlook - very glass half full. It will be so nice for you guys to see each other.

Grits - love the "don't give a s*** evening" concept. Especially in light of you being so good. I am not ready to trust myself with one of those yet as I am afraid it will turn into a week.

Staccie - I like your shopping mentality. I am trying to do that too - reward myself. I want some new pants but right now I am just trying things on and not buying because I want to wait until the next size. For now I will just keep trying on the clothes in the closet and hope some of them fit soon. I did squeeze into a pair of pants last week that I would not have been able to wear a week ago. Of course they were still too tight but I wore them anyway as I only have one outfit that really looks okay.

Last night we celebrated a week of hard work by going out to dinner. I had a 10 oz. steak with cajun spices, garlic mashed potatoes and steamed veggies from Applebees. I cut the steak in half immediately and put that and half the potatoes in a to go box immediately. Because I had save some of my lunch calories for dinner I was able to get my day in without going over calories.

This week's weigh in: 156.5 ......... a loss of 4 lbs.

Got to get outside and finish these leaves as we are expecting a week worth of rain. I did get most of the area around our agility equipment cleared.

Looking forward to hearing from everyone today - remember tomorrow is a new day and week. We can do it with the help of each other. You have all been very helpful to me.

I weighed in this morning at 291.4 which was 9 lbs down from Monday, but only 3 lbs down from the beginning of the challenge.

Great job Popcorn!!! 4lbs at your weight is a super achievement!

Love the picture pammy! Popcorn is right, you don't look like you need to lose anymore.

Can't wait to hear from everybody else!

Good Morning Everyone!

I missed you so! I find it kind of amusing that so many of you changed you icons this week...it feels like when you don't see someone for a while and then when you finally do see them they look so different!

Staccie- Sounds like you're in a really good place right now! Nice tip leaving the gym clothes in your locker...whatever it takes right!

Burgundy- I am really in awe of your self-control on this new diet! Is this day 5 or 6? and skipping all the cookies for the sf pb cups! Awesome!

Neesy- Yea for creative solutions! So glad that you and hubby will get to spend some QT around the holidays. I'm sure in the end all of this will just bring you closer together =-)

Popcorn- Awesome WI this morning! Your giving me a run for my money!!!

Pammy- Lol about your dad's electric log chopper...what a man invention... I love you new pic! You are so close to goal! Sometimes I forget because you are so tall and I don't exactly have that blessing.

Maddie'sMom-Great to here from you! It sounds like you are really in a groove...and your right, it is so strange to find yourself in a different clothing size!

AJ- Quit? What? I don't think of going off plan for a few days as quitting! You're so close to goal...so it is probably time to start thinking more long-term... But you don't need me to tell you that it sounds like you are already heading in the right direction =-) I am also on board with the healthy lifestyle crew!

Whew! I think that's everthing...

As for me things are...meh...okay... Weighed in the am at 151.5 which means a 1.5 loss from last weeks WI. It's exciting but I kind of expected it because of TOM has gone and generally takes a lb or 2 with it. Regardless I'm at a low for this challenge and plan on really pushing hard this next week!
Sundays are always pretty busy for me because I work...hopefully today won't be too stressful though. I hope to get in a short work out as well...we'll see...

Oh! I forgot to tell you guys (due to 3FC being lame yesterday) that I did my 11 mile run! Yea! And I actually did more than that because I got lost and couldn't find the park...lol... So glad I got it done because there is only 2 weeks now to the 1/2 and it's been raining nearly everyday here!

Have #$$ kicking day chickies!

Morning everyone....from rainy and dreary Vancouver. Ewww I would rather it be cold and snowy than this! I hate being wet all the time, but at least the birds don't really come out!

I have lots to do today and I'm kinda procrastinating...

I'm down 2.5 this week

Congrats on everyone else so far...awesome work all!!!

Woohoo for 3fc being back up and normal again - I SOOO didn't like being cut off from you girls!!

BF is out of funkdom FINALLY and we've had a great time this weekend - we left a car in the movie parking lot 3.5 miles away and walked to a late afternoon movie in the snow yesterday so I got in my exercise which was good. And we have over a foot of snow now but I'm going for a walk with my sis then taking her b-day shoe shopping after which is always fun. I'm hovering a bit above ticker but I'm not changing that sucker - I'm going to be sticking to plan like glue!

So much to catch up on - this may take me a few tries!
tifftiff - wowza - that's amazing progress!
mygrits - you are killing this - way to go!
pammy - love your photo - you look wonderful!
staccie - woohoo for 2.5! Girl, you rock!
simple - WTG on 11 miles!!!
popcorn - nicely done at applebees - that's the perfect way to control portions.
maddiesmom - congrats on size 16!!!! It's so fun fitting into smaller sizes!!
burgundy - I SOOO couldn't handle cookies in the freezer - I'd be thinking about them all the time. I really admire your will power and discipline! Sounds like you are doing great on the gf diet - you will be in onederland in no time!!

Staccie- Wooo hoo!! Thats awesome. I am so glad that you are losing and kicking butt! PS My best friend in Denver hates birds so much and so when ever you say something about them I laugh and laugh!

Tiff- You are amazing. You really committed. Wish I wasn't so lazy! I want to ride a bike =)

Simple- Thank you. Congrats on your run. Sounds great.

Dance- We have missed you! Great job with the walking and I miss the snow so so so so much!

I am +3lbs. What ever. I got a new scale that tells me the water weight, fat and muscle % and so on and its pretty cool. Its sunday and its been a long weekend and I am excited to try something different.

Okay, so I'm still catching up as I couldn't read the earlier stuff properly with all the site issues.

neesy - that is the best possible use of prize money that I've ever heard of! So excited for you! And glad you still have xmas to look forward to as well. Great news!

staccie - I'm SOOO proud of your self control - do you know what's different right now? Is it the trainer or your mindset? Whatever it is, isolate this really controlled feeling so you can get back to it anytime you need to. WTG, girl!

aj- honey, what is going on? I'm so sorry you're having a tough time! HUGS!! It sounds to me like you're being crazy self-critical when really you're just having a break, okay, maybe a little more than a break but basically that. You are so close to goal (AND LOOKING FABULOUS!!!) that of course it will take longer to make progress and maybe you just need to hang out where you are for a bit and enjoy it. Lindy and I were talking last week when we met up about how tricky it is to get super motivated when you're most of the way there, fit into cute-ish clothes again and know you're in the healthy range again. As neesy said, this is exactly the point in the past where I would quit and slowly start gaining again. NOT THIS TIME! Of course, we still want to get to goal but I think it's okay to not be in a mad rush and take a chunk of time to enjoy where you are. So, is that a little bit of what's going on with you? Plus moving to a new place and all of the hard adjustments that that entails? If I had to move somewhere new where I didn't know anyone AND I didn't have a job to keep me busy, I think I would go nuts. Is there any community service type stuff that you find interesting that you could get involved in for a bit while you're looking for just the right job? Just a few hours a week even, at the dumb friends league or women's shelter or something. I think that would help keep you in balance. At least it helps me stay grounded. Anyway - sorry to go on and on - I just feel for you. And I don't know if I could make it through this next week without my mileage buddy!!

Staccie-Thank you! I did enjoy it more than I considered it a pain. I love being outside so to me it was just another workout and yeah my shoulders are killing me today haha
Popcorn- Thanks! I wish I didnt have anything to lose. Im only a size 14 and I really want to be an 8 but im pushing more for a 10 because of my height and hips It might be nearly impossible. That dinner sounds yummy, your making me hungry!
Tiff- Thats amazing on the weightloss!!!!
Simple- Thank you! It is a advantage to being tall but also a disadvantage to always weigh more than everyone else. Way to go on those 11 miles. Wow that has to make you feel on cloud nine!
Dancer- Thanks... Snow? Whats that? haha My first time seeing snow was just last year in Chicago. Grats on walking.

Im so excited to be going to the bike path today. I haven't rode in FOREVER. Me and my sister use to ride religiously on Sundays but because of her busy family she hasn't had a chance to and im soo happy to be going today. Plus its gorgeous outside and I get in a workout with something thats fun to me. Hope everyones having a good day im getting dressed and ready to head out. I know my bike surely misses me haha

So as AJ mentioned, I just got back from a bike ride. We had a route planned that was 11 miles, but we were halfway done and I just felt like I could do so much more so we did some quick thinking and figured out a way to go further without going in circles so we ended up doing 13.5 miles instead and it felt great. Yeah my butt is sore and my feet were numb by the end, but it was super invigorating.

This morning I was actually feeling kinda crappy about the weigh-in. Now let me explain why. While I lost 9 lbs this week, I am still 6 lbs from my previous low and I have only lost 3 lbs in the two weeks of the challenge. Because I strayed and didn't stay focused. If I hadn't done that and gained and lost the same 10 lbs about 10 times, I would be SOOO much further along. I just wish I could stay focused for longer than a month at a time. Once you girls commented on it though, it knocked me out of that negative mood and I am happier about it. Hopefully next week I can be back to where I was and then just move forward from there.

Pammy, holy crap you are a 14?!?! I had it in my head that I would never be happy at a 14 because thats what I was in high school and I thought I was fat. If I looked like you at a 14 though, I would be thrilled. I would have guessed an 8. Guess that shows my perspective is just a little off. Anyways, you look great and can't wait to see you at goal. You'll be one hot chick. Have fun on your bike ride, I know I did!!

Dance, last year when I went to Ohio to see my husbands family, we went on a walk one night through the snow (my first time ever!). That was one he!! of a workout. I am impressed that you guys walked 3.5 miles through the snow. It's worst than walking through the sand which I just can't do at long distances either.

AJ, I am sending good thoughts your way on your fresh start tomorrow!

Simple, great job on both your loss and run!! I still can't imagine the day when I can run 11.5 miles. My mom just told me that she was doing the disney half marathon in January so she is running 3 times a week to train. My goal is to run the turkey trot next year. About 5 people from my job are running it this year, so I want to be able to next year. It's kinda an ego killer that my mom can run 10 miles and I can't even run a 1/4 mile.

Well I'm off to clean. tty chicks later.

Wow. So glad to hear all the losses this week.. and the motivation to lose if you did not. So proud of all of you!

I weighed 183.8 today. Which probably isn't accurate. After I drink, I always weigh less the next day. Guess getting all the fluid off from peeing so much. haha. So.. I'll call it 184. Which is 2lbs down from last week. YAY! My head is throbbing right now.. drinking.. ugh. I won't be doing this again for a really long time. Sorry for the short post. Will catch up more later on when this headache goes away.

You wanna know what I love?? I think I heard you say yes telepathically so here goes....

I love getting new bedding. And new pillows. Sleeping on new fluffy nice pillows like perfect clouds wrapped up in a over stuffed down comforter. I could just stay in bed forever. Okay thanks for caring what I love =)
