Wow, I get so behind in reading and I keep thinking I'm going to do more personals and then I get to responding and I've forgotten everything I was going to say... GAH!

Delphi - 400 calories on week1day1!!?? Really?? That's awesome I'm totally excited to hear that. I wish I had one of those things!

Tummy - OMG Shopping in "regular people" clothing stores is one of my goals. I'm so tired of shopping in what I've come to call "the tent shops". It either looks like a tent ON or it looks like a tent OFF but either way... it's a tent. Way to go you! I can't remember the last time there wasn't an X in front of a size! Yay!

cmo4 - In the past, I've always been frustrated when the scale never moved... and naturally I never measured. Thank goodness the people at Curves do it for me or I likely wouldn't have measured this time and I'd be sooo incredibly upset right now... the scale hasn't moved much for me, but I KNOW the inches have and so has my body fat percentage... Things are moving, just be patient!

As for me, I'm doing ok today. My sisters called and want to meet up for Lunch on Friday and that's all well and good except that they want to eat at Red Robin and I just KNOW my favorite burger there is absolutely no good for me. I hope they have nutrition information on their website so I can look up what to eat. I am NOT coming away with a 1500 calorie lunch!
Tomorrow I do my second day of week 1 of the c25k... the actual workout wasn't bad the first day but maaaan oh man have I been stiff/sore the past couple days. I need to look up some stretches and make sure I'm stretching everything out properly.

Hope everyone is doing great!

Canadianangle I wish I had your motivation. I had fully planned on working out in the evening, but I got way too comfy on the couch. Oh well, will just go right from work, that way I can't make excuses. Sorry to hear about your daughter. Hope the meds start making her feel better soon.

MsP Wonderful! Great to see not only the numbers going down on the scale, but the reflection on clothing size. I can't wait until I'm a size 10 again. I think thats my happy size.

Tummy Girl Yay no more X's in clothing for you anymore. Shopping for clothes will be fun again.

Omg Red Robin is my weakness. Aren't they the ones that do bottomless fries? I remember going there once and getting the fries like 2-3x. There are healthier options on the menu I'm sure.

Morning!
I am going to attempt personals today, please bear with me if I type things that don't make much sense since I am basically typing "blind" right now :P

wifey: Welcome back!

merose: I think your strategy of bringing veggies and hummus to work sounds great! I know exactly what you mean about feeling like you need the food when you have to be up at weird hours.

Sotypical: Exercise would probably be counterproductive if it causes you more stress than good me thinks, so good for you!

Misspiggy:
HOpe you feel better soon. What are you going back to school for? That's one of my future plans as well

Sandye: You are adding the 30 DS on top of all your other workouts? Wow woman, you are insane, but in a good way . The idea of feta stuffed chicken sounded good to me, to bad it didn't turn out as good as it sounded, but I think you are on the right track for making in tastier next time. You were a veggie hater? Who would've thunk? So sorry to hear the scale is still not cooperating with you...OH...did I ever answer your grill question? I have the Cusinart with the removable plates. Previously I owned a different grill with non-removable plates but the cleaning was too much of a hassle (so much so that I actually avoided using it much).

mystical: Sorry to hear your new house is giving you grief Hopefully you'll get all the cat hair out of there really soon.

dcapulet: Hope your DS gets better soon!

Ang: So glad to hear that your DD has been diagnosed, Graves disease is well managed with thyroid medication. Congrats on managing to exercise and eat OP through it all too.

Ms.P: Congrats on the size 10's. I think your mom is right, I still think my size 12 pants look way to small and I am always amazed that they actually fit me when I put them on. Minds are a strange thing.
Oh, congrats on the house being close to sold. I bet you can't wait to have your own place once again.

Delphi: LOL at being stuck in the living room. I know you don't mind working out with your kids around, but if it was me, I would take advantage of the fact that now I can workout in peace

shasha: I am going to just say what everyone else has already said. Strength training is the best. I actually don't like cardio much but I love ST. Just like Delphi, I also feel like Wonder Woman once I've finished. And I love seeing my muscles getting stronger (not much but they are )

Tummy: LOL at calling DH "DH".
Yeah, I am lucky that I don't have much junk in the house, so even with all the cravings there's not much I can do about it
on the panties girl! YOU ARE A SIZE 14!!!!! Congrats!!!

FSA
: So funny, I was reading your post like I was in a rush just like you. Hope you get lots done today.

BRB...posting this and then continuing...

Delphiiii, ty darling. It sure helps make my chores more fun thinking of burning those calories!!!

ruth, wtg!

shrinking girl, real smart of you to plan ahead! Thank goodness for our pc's and the ability to look those things up now a days. Ohhhhh, you might already be familiar with it but there is this site called calorieking.com. It's great, it lists all sorts of restaurants and you can look up virtually anything and get a good breakdown. Wtg on the C25K! .

HI Sasha and hi to all,

I was cleaning, took a half hour to do some laps, quick break, now back to the chores! Hope your all having a great day chickies. Let's keep on truckin'. I stocked up on a bunch of water jugs the other day, I always keep one up here and sip away when I'm typing.

Part 2 of my gigantic post...

ruth: hi

sotypical: LOL your weight goal sounds just like mine! maybe there's something with the 170's

Shrinking Girl: I hear you on forgetting what you were going to say. I learned the "2 windon trick" from our Jacqui, where you basically read from one and post on the other window, It works wonders I tell you...
At any rate, nice to meet you

jeannep: Welcome! it's never too late to join

hello to everyone else! where's Sandye's mom??

As for me. I actually ate well yesterday. A bit more than I should but not by much, and it definitely felt much better to be eating right for a change
Sandye's post just inspired me and I think I am going to give the 30 DS a try today. I hope I don't die, I own it but I've always been to afraid to try it LOL.

I'm so glad I get to join your thread. I had been posting regularly and then was doing really well and decided I didn't need the accountability. Big mistake!
I've backslid almost to my starting weight. :-(
During the month of August I will go back to the gym I was going 5 days/week for about the past year but haven't been at all in the past 6-8 weeks. I will also get back into the 170s (current 182).
Thanks for being there for me, everyone and for giving me the opportunity to be there for you!

NSM~ Hahaha! I just called you out on the exercise thread about the EA 30 Day Challenge!!! Yes, thanks for the info on the grill, I replied back there somewhere but it's been so long now I'm sure it would take a while to find it.

I'll be back later to post more personals! Hope everyone is having a great day!!!

Both of my co-workers just had my favorite trigger food for lunch, pizza. I'm so damn hungry and so sick of salad. I wish I could go get a Publix sub. But as the manager I can't leave until we close at 8pm. Ugh, some days I hate my job

Ruth - He's gorgeous, and wtg on the 176, it's always nice to be rid of an upward bloat and back onto new territory.

Sotypical - LOL, I've done that too, all the folks are the same so it's easy to mix them up, I think weighing less is a great goal, it is in fact the same as 99% of us

Delphi - LMAO on the bikini and the light saber! You're too sweet my dear, I'm only trying to keep up with you and look where that got me?! You're just the sweetest person who deserves every happiness and that fabulous bikini! I don't know, i've been asked a time or two if I'm on something, crack I believe and it was only cold pills I swear! And don't hurt yourself you won't be able to exercise! Or you could do it with a neck brace, that's always an option b/c we do not tolerate excuses here

Shrinking - I think you summed it up perfectly, tent stores, I hope to only go in there in search of camping gear from now on and your time will come sooner than later too. Plan ahead for food that's a great idea and you'll be laughing all the way to the regualr ppl stores.

Shasha - I haven't got to do that in so many years that I'm wishing I could bottle it and send it to everyone. I wrote about it in my journal last night, just in case I get discouraged one day I can read about how awesome that was. And bottomless fries, holy cow, I've never heard of such a thing, and maybe for the best or I'd have been alot heavier.

jeannep As in life, it's never too late, welcome aboard.

FSA - I must say you really are trucking away over there, some amazing motivation you've pulled out, super proud of you!

NSM - Don't say that about the 170's I'm getting scared! And
on the hope I don't die, I don't know why but that's the funniest thing I've read all day. And I'm sure you'll be fine, but check in and let us know you're still breathing. I'm going to have a p90x encounter today and I'm hoping for the same thing...to survive.

LaurenA - Welcome back!!!!

Aclai - You can do it! Resist and it will be easier next time and boo on them.

Done those errands and now have to read up on my "extreme fitness system" loving the sound of that but as NSM said, I'm a wee bit scared, lol. I can't start the full program until I get back from vacation so that will be September's goal but for now I just have to try some out.

Have a great afternoon all, got a three year old needing a cuddle and a nap.

Tummy ~ I looked into the P90x and figured that with what I'm doing now, I should be alright as far as ST goes. I'm not looking for huge muscles just a little tone, which i see you can do with your program as well. It should be fun watching your progress with it and getting a first hand account. Oh and yeah, I was foolin' around with my avatar again. I get so bored..and today I've been extremely bored. I try to take it easy the days I'm not doing the couch 2 5k, because of my knees, and it just kills me. I think I will retire the cardio on the MFC this month.

aclai ~ no worries dear you can make it. If salads are getting old, try something else. I know I have to switch it up almost weekly. I haven't eaten a salad in over a month.

jean ~

Laurena ~ Welcome back sweetie, good to see for another month.

NSM ~ I want to try the thirty day shred at some point myself. I like changing things up monthly so you and Sandye let me know how you like it. I might pick it up for September. Good to see you back and posting. I'm with ya...Where's Mom????

FSA ~ You know I started buying bottled water again to. Me and the boys keep using them, so I guess I'll keep buying them. When you see them in the fridge, I think we all just make a better choice.

Shrinkinggirl ~ Hey you and yes, it was almost a 400 calorie burn for me. I was like Whoaaaaaaaa! The thing about having the gowearfit, is that I'm definitely on top of my numbers and it has went quite well thus far. As far as streching goes. It's very important, before and after. I'd definitely recommend, doing a google search for running streches.

Alright that's it for me. The boys will be home soon and then some LOST tonight. You ladies have a wonderful evening and I'll catch you cool cats early in the morning.

Yeah, I'm always in a rush getting lunch together and salad is quick and easy. Plus once I'm here I'm trapped with it. No other choices really. I work from 10:30a-8p and I'm not allowed to leave for lunc or anything. So salad it is. Maybe I'll get better about packing lunch the night before
