Sandy- Thank you so much. I know I should and I am close to feeling okay with it. Good job with the walk/run and I hope you get to swim. I love love swiming.

Lindy- I am so serious! It happened to me when I was big when I was younger and I still remember the taste in my mouth. I was so upset. This time I am not sure if I am ready to cry or wanting to laugh. I realize that I will lose more so its not thattt big of a deal but WOW! shocking. I was wearing a weird shirt so maybe that was it. hahaha.

AJ: So sorry about the comment the neighbor made. That has happened to me, at the mall, I had some kid come up and touch my stomach and ask if there was a baby in there. I was humiliated, so I know how you're feeling. Keep your chin up, I'm sure it was the clothes. So many clothes now are cute, but tend to look "maternityish" if that's a word!

Also, when I WAS pregnant, I was in my normal clothes until almost 8 months. Then, I had someone ask me if I was having TWINS! Couldn't believe it. You can sure believe I wanted to smack the crap outta that person though. I mean, I only gained 20 pounds during pregnancy, but I was overweight at the time. Oh well, it's behind me.

Lindy: I'm so glad that Gabadoo is back home. It's been a long time since you've seen her. Congrats on the healthy week! As for the bloating, that could be all those healthy foods causing gas or something, that tends to make me feel bloated.

Sandy: Did you go swimming. Good job on the walk/jog. I think we're getting some of that Florida heat/humidity today. It was over 90 with humidity, so I didn't spend much time outside.

Neesy: Glad you were able to talk to your husband. Stay strong!

So, I got up this morning and was at the gym by 8:15. I was there for an hour and a half doing cardio and strength training. I can really feel that I'm losing inches in my legs...my pants are a lot baggier there. I just wish my waist would go down! I could probably fit into a 16 if I lost another inch or two, but it's being stubborn. I know that it took a long time for me to get my body this overweight, so it's going to take some time and a lot of hard work to reverse what I have done to myself. I am proud of myself for going to the gym. Between last Saturday and today, I've gone 5 times...each time for more than an hour AND coming home sweating like nobody's business.

Did well eating today as well. Breakfast, didn't have any before I went to the gym...wasn't hungry. Lunch: Chix Parm Lean Cuisine, snack: pretzel, Dinner: grilled chix with baked potato and broccoli. Had a Diet Dr. Pepper with my sweet and salty granola bar for a snack mid-afternoon.

I'm actually looking forward to weighing in tomorrow...I know I've kicked butt this week, so I'm feeling good. I do notice I have more energy as well, don't miss that morning coffee anymore. What about you ladies?

Burgundy-16lbs so far
AJ- 13lbs
Lindy - 35
MaddiesMom: 30

Sandy- I think for me, if I didnt do the videos, the only thing I would do is my walks. SO I am glad I have those. But you get good workouts in with out them. Sounds like you had a good day, did you get in a swim, I want a pool.

Dance-you are kicking some butt, glad you are over your plateau.

Basics-I love the farmers market, just went on wednesday and got tons of good stuff. Made pico de gallo out of some of it and it is yummy.

Neesy-I bet it was good to hear from your husband today. He is going to be so proud. I want to be that 57 year old that runs marathons and is super healthy, I want that to be all of us.

AJ-I have had the "expecting" question happen to me TWICE in one day a few years ago. It sucks, but just think you are losing and people will start noticing that.

Lindy-glad Gabby is home, maybe she wont be cranky tomorrow. I was getting hungry around 1030 so I figured it was a good time to go to bed. Took the dogs out and now here I am, got my mind off food. NO EATING AFTER 8!!!

Maddiesmom-good job making it to the gym that many times. I love it when clothes start fitting looser and looser. I think we are all actually looking forward to this weigh in. We should have been doing these challenges all along.

Ok 4 of us have added our lbs lost together for an AWESOME 94 lbs. Now we just need Dance, Mygrits, Basics, Neesy, Staccie, and Tiff

I did good today. Finished day 9 of 30ds. Didnt get a walk in, it rained all stinking day. Ready for the weigh in tomorrow. I hope we all have a loss. Gonna go to sleep now. Night girls

Grrrr.....I am beyond pissed today, pissed would be an understatement. I weighed in today and am 187! WHAT THE ****!!! I did not binge eat in any way shape or form, even on my sushi day, I budgeted it into my calories. God, I am so freakin mad right now. So...Ive been exercising my *** off and eating nothing but healthy and where has it gotten me...NO WHERE. I am going to stick with this plan for 1 more week and if this happens again, thats it, time to try a new system. Grrrrr!

Hi Ladies,

Lindy I guess your the only one on today so far. Don't worry about the weight, I guarantee it's not the healthy food. Could it be your body is overworked with the workouts, or complacent because your doing the same things, or lastly possibly sodium? Just some thoughts for you to think about.....as I know in the past I would work my a** off and not lose because my body got use to the exercise routine, so I changed it up riding the bike and bam...I started losing again, then I changed up when I worked out and it happened again. Just some ideas.

I did weigh in and it said 215.4!!!!!!!! Woo Hoo! Finally some results. That is 3.6 lbs this week! Gosh sweating and being hungry at night worked! Now I am starting Tom, sooooooo who knows what that means for this week, but I will do my best to stay on track and workout.

I didn't know you all were taking totals to date, sorry. My total weightloss as of today is 54.6 lbs.

I will check in later. Today is a 'do nothing' day unless I do decide to go swimming - otherwise it is my day off.

AJ- Sadly, I know the feeling of wanting to keep in hiding until I lose weight too. But, a couple of months ago I got together with some girlfriends from high school when one had a baby and was so glad I did. I’m sorry about the pregnancy comment you received—I’ve gotten those a couple of times too. By the way, I love the quote on your signature—it’s so true!!!

Neesy- that is inspiring to have someone in your family like that—17 miles at 57, love it!! Great job on sticking with your food choices, I bet next week you drop weight like nobodies business—and that sent warm fuzzies my way to hear you got to talk to your hubby.

Mygrits- Great job on the workouts and sticking with the calories! I’m still staring at the beets…I’ll give you an update when I figure it out ..ha ha. Congrats on the loss of 3.6 for the week—whoo whoo!!!

Lindy- Whoo whoo, I bet it’s nice to have her back! thanks for the boost on the 5k…today I start my challenge with that. Funny you mention the raw veggies boosting your metabolism, I was just at my neighbors last night and began reading an article about that. It had a 10 day plan of raw veggies that said you would lose 20 lbs…I’ll keep that in my pocket to use when I hit a plateau.

MaddiesMom- Wowsa, you are rockin’ the gym—great job!!

Burgundy- Awesome job on sticking with the 30ds!! Ohh yum, can I have the recipe for pico de gallo??

Whoo whoo, I just stepped on the scale and I'm down 4 pounds this week!! Can't wait to see how everyone else is doing

I've updated the total weight loss for the group:
Burgundy-16
AJ- 13
Lindy - 35
MaddiesMom: 30
MyGrits- 54
Basics- 15

Total Lost = 163 Pounds!!!!

Ok....
Back2Basics and Mygrits - CONGRATULATIONS on your weight loss! Yes! I am trying to be very happy for everyone today but man oh man am I depressed as all ****. First...I had to register my Gabadoo for soccer, tomorrow is the cut-off and it was $180, not to mention we still have to go out and buy new soccer shoes, then I went and got her school supplies....$50, just on school supplies, and why the **** is the teacher asking for Glade plug ins...vanilla sent?! Honestly, what the **** is wrong with these teachers. Grrr...that just makes me more upset. Now, the icing on the cake...I went and registered Gab for CCD because my mom and Grandma have been up my butt about her receiving communion (as she should...but still, just sayin) - $60 flippin dollars! Common...60 bucks and they go on no field trips or anything AND the teachers are all volunteers! Sheez...this is just not my day. I feel like Im on the verge of a mental breakdown. Im broke and fat and its depressing. Sorry...pitty party for one today.

Lindy- I am sure with all your workouts you muscle may be holding some water. or it could be sodium. You will lose those 2 lbs again in no time. Really hope your day gets better.

Mygrits-great job on the 3 lbs. Slow down, I gotta catch you, you are 4 lbs ahead of me.

Basics-4 lbs-holy smoke girl, you are rockin!!! The pico de gallo is so simple, dont know if its really picode gallo but I like it. I chop up tomatoes, onion, green pepper or sweet banana pepper and garlic(its supposed to have cilantro in it, but I hate cilantro.Just mix them all together and let it set for a while so some juice comes out of the tomato. You can salt and pepper it to taste but I didnt, trying to stay away from salt.

So I got on the scale and I am down 3lbs from last week, at 219. YAY!! Finally seeing results again. Going shopping with my SIL today, need to get ready. Have a great day everyone

Burgund - Congratulations on your 3lbs, that is totally awesome! You are on my tail........LOL........I need to keep moving! LOL...

Lindy - I am so sorry about al your stress this weekend. Stay stronge for you and Gabadoo - next week will be better and much brighter. Is there any chance your Mom would help with the CCD or your ex, or maybe they have scholarships and can give you a discount? You are an awesome Mom and she will appreciate all your struggles and all you do for you as she grows up. It is tough being a parent and even more being a single-mom. I had so many years where I just didn't think I would make it financially and especially emotionally, but now my kids, especially my daughter, are greatful awesome kids and help me out any way they can. They remember, and are very very appreciative, as Gabadoo will be!

Have a great afternoon ladies.

Lindy- I am so sorry. I know exactly how those days feel. Just remember how much better you feel. It really could be water weight! And about school... that is the most rediculous thing ever. Why di they need scented anything. A school should be kept clean. I am sorry you spent a fortune. Maybe that will be it for a while!

Sandy- Congrats!! Almost 4 lbs. Thats HUGE! great job staying committed.

Back2Basics- Thank you for the support. Soe one told me that saying when I was single and trying to find love. I think it is true for every thing great!

Burgundy- Thats awesome. I am glad you are seeing results.

As for me, I weighed in at 162. 5lbs in a full week. That feels great but I ate two huge bowls of special K last night because I wasn't feeling well and so I ate... and ate. Ugh. Now I feel that bloated crap! I hate when I do that to myself. It did make me feel better and go to sleep though.

Hi ladies,

I am trying to hop on here as much as I can, which isn't much these days. I have an Olympic test event in three weeks and it's all my life is about Which is sad and not right. I haven't even made it to the gym lately but I have been eating reasonably well. Just reading your posts is awesome for me right now - it REMINDS me that other people have busy lives too and they make time for themselves!! You are all a huge source of inspiration. The pictures is an awesome idea, I did it a few months back and it kept me on track for a long time!!
