Good Morning Ladies :wave:
Just a quick :wave:, I'll come back later and do personals after my workout. Just wanted to wish everyone a great start to their day/week. Only nine days left in our challenge ladies. Lets, buckle up, dig in and start meeting those goals! Weighed in, at 207.2, this morning, so at least a .2 loss. :carrot: Only three pounds to go to meet my goal, whether that will happen or not, I do not know. At least it's a downward trend. At any rate, I'm a bit tired. Stayed up much too late last night and I'm doing a mouth full of yawning this morning, but hey, I'll make it. You ladies have an exceptional one and I'll be back to do personals in a few. :) |

Sure are gonna miss ya around here though. :hug: Well that catches me up. Well, I was up extremely late last night watching movies with the boys and doing some brainstorming. I have three pounds to go to hit my June goal and pretty sure, tomorrow I will see a drop seeing as I'm .2 today. So I wanted to increase my activity levels for the week. Sooo my big plan is to instead of doing a long session of exercise, I'm gonna work in three to four intervals of exercise, everyday. My problem is I do my exercise early in the morning and then much of the day is spent sitting. So this way, I'm giving my metabolism a boost several times a day, still getting in my minutes, but over all burning more calories. Plus, I'm hoping the sudden change up of routine will assist in my weight loss this week. We shall see how that goes. At any rate, you ladies have a great day, ready those smiles and drink loads of water. :) :) :) |

Delphi~ yesterday was hot here too! Ugh...supposed to be that way all week--figures, right when my mom is coming for a visit! Boo...hiss...Anyway, congrats on the loss girlie! You can totally make your goal! If anyone can it's you hun! Thanks so much for all of your kind words yesterday--think you can give me directions to your house so I an come over and give you a great big 'ol :hug:? :) Dang girl, you're going nuts in that house of yours! Listen, if you're really out of things to do--you can always come over here! We've got painting that needs to be done (inside and out! :D)), purging is always an option...do you like to decorate? Could use that too! :lol: Velveteen~ woo hoo! You're on fire!!! Now, I'm all mixed up with the conversion--how far away from goal are you now? Not much right? Keep up the fantastic job hun! :) Tummy~ Good gravy! You are a superstar! An hour of weights AND pilates while you're sick? Oh I need to bow down to you, you're my hero! I have yet to attempt pilates...hmm...I feel a goal comin' on! Wait, I already have too many for next month! :lol: Yeah, my sil is crazy! She's one of those uber organized, insanely great at keeping a clean house kind of girls. She's mouthy too! When I first met her I wasn't too sure I'd like her, but she's a hoot! She was hurtin' yesterday for sure and as soon as the party was over we made sure to leave so that she could get some rest. Poor thing, last summer she shattered her ankle falling off of a houseboat and landing on another one (some drunk girl made her fall off of a railing)--they still owe on the medical bills from that and she's still not 100%. I would be just sobbing 24/7 right about now if I were her. She's toughin' it out though. :) Lewis~ awww, she's adorable! :) Glad to hear she's back home and doing fine! Biju~ congrats on the gym being available! That's awesome! I'm heading to TX in a couple weeks and my dad says there's a gym at the community clubhouse I can use! Yay! Keep up the great work and I'm sure you'll be at 126 when you leave!! :) Okee dokee, I'm all caught up! Hmm...quiet weekend huh? Well, I made it through the birthday party and didn't eat a thing. Hubby says the cake wasn't good and the frosting was horrid so I didn't miss out on anything. :lol: ;) Down to 162.8 this morning! :dance: I haven't been this close to the 150's in I don't know how long! My 10 year anniversary is in Sept and if I can make it to 150--that'll put me below my wedding day weight! That's over 2 months...12.8 lbs...I can do that right? So long as my weight loss doesn't slow way down...right? Heck ya I can! Especially with you ladies motivating me and inspiring me!! :) Well girls, I might not be able to do many personals this week--my mom & sister get here today at 3'ish and will be here all week (send any extra Will Power Dust just in case) and I won't be on the computer as much. So, just in case I skip a day I want you all to remember me saying :coach: DRINK YOUR WATER!!! every single day and picture me :cheer::cheer2::cheer::cheer2: and threating to :frypan::kickbutt::rollpin::club: if you even think about veering off course! Of course, I also want you to picture me :carrot::bravo::cp::dancer::high::congrat: everytime you lose and everytime you workout and everytime you get all your water in! :grouphug: to you all! Delphi- I like the sound of your interval plan....it makes sense. I might try it too. Are you thinking like 20 minutes 3x a day? or 30 minutes 2times a day?:chin: How long does it take according to your gowearthing to bump up your metabolism???? You are soooo right, about cracking down, getting in gear, revving it up, pushing forward, and whatever else we have to do to meet our goals!!!! Biju- Yay on the gym access. It will really help you stay in control. but do be sure and enjoy your time in Europe! That sounds really cool, and I have heard there is A LOT of walking to be done, so that should help you too! When do you leave??? Tummy- Glad to hear you are feeling better! I hate the "leaking weeks" just so miserable........ But on the plus size, fitting into 16's is aaawwweeeessommme! Keep up the good work! Velvateen- yay on the Loss:carrot:, PS thanks for calculating the kilo thing for us. Math in the morning is not my strong point!!!!!! Keep it up, you are doing great! LE ~ Yeah, my metabolism does really good up to an hour after I exercise. So my rationale this week, will be splitting those 60 minutes up. I'm thinking after my meals, I will get on the treadmill for 20 minutes each. Then tomorrow and opposite days, stick to strength training and core exercise and perhaps squeeze in a 20 minute walk after dinner. It sounds logical to me. Instead of burning 400 calories in one lick, I can burn those calories plus some by staying relatively active periodically throughout the day. Have a great day at work! :)
Sandye ~ I'm gonna miss ya around here. I'm still up for a 3FC mixer. Wouldn't that be so cool, a goal mixer at that. Enjoy your time with your family. Ya..houseguests. I'm sending plenty of willpower dust your way girly. I think you will do just fine and YOU WILL see that 150 by September..no sweat. Oh my how exciting that will be...eh? Just know that we are so incredibly proud of you. Jacque ~ Thanks for the encouragement in the sister thread. You inspiring attitude never ceases to amaze me..you purple goddess you. :hug: As for me, I've cleaned up the livingroom, cut out another piece of carpet for the livingroom, did my treadmill interval, touched up the paint in my living room and painted a piece of the wall in my bedroom just to see how that color would look in there. I have more of a dark pink/red color in my living room but was thinking a bright red or some shade of lime green for my bedroom. I'm experimenting. Staying busy! Did some crunches this morning and hope to keep stuffing intervals of exercise into my days. Any suggestions on colors for bedrooms? I want to keep it dark, I think. Though no dark greens. If I went with green it would be a light shade. Anyways, I have this old antique bedroom suit, very pretty, very old and its a mahogany, so any suggestions would be appreciated. Then when my grandmother gets back from her vacation, I can go get me some paint and hopefully tackle my room this week as well. That should keep me busy one day. |

There is not a cloud in the sky today, the sun is shining and the birds are chirping..it a perfect day to go to the beach....so instead of the lovley treadmill, im goinmg to venture out and run along the water in the sand(never tried that before). i hope everyone has a great day and drink extra water with it being hot out! luv ang |

LE - That is just the sweetest picture, so glad she's ok that would be just devastating. Delphi - I'm right there with ya chickie, almost at goal, we will make it if we have to drag ourselves kicking and screaming, it will be done. And how did you know I was more of a Solo kinda girl than a Skywalker, interesting?! Thanks, I'm going to miss everyone too, I'm leaving Friday at 7am and won't be back until late July 2, it's going to be weird not having my morning coffee with y'all. I like your interval idea, I may copy you, you're just full of good ideas, you are my inspiration today! CMo4 - LOL that made me laugh, I'm going to remember that while not wanting to get up to run while I'm away (get up, she's gonna beat you if you don't...:yikes: ) And you're too kind, it's just a tonsil infection and with my inhaler I'm at about 60%, so why not work out? What does that crazy lady say off TV, if you're not throwing up keep going? And I really just went to pilates b/c I was dying to see how much better I was than early May. Glad the party went well and I must agree cake is rarely as good as it is in my head. It's kinda sad how much nasty untasty food makes up the flubber on my butt, as least if it was all good, wonderful food but I'm sure at least 10lbs is really disgusting birthday cake. :cheer::broc::cheer::broc::cheer::broc::cheer: for 162.8! That's wiked awesome fantastic! WTG on almost wedding weight, it will be like dh is cheating with his own wife! CA - WTG, running on the beach! That's an awesome workout have fun! Today it was raining cats and dogs but was it running day?! Sure was! So there is me in my dh's too small windbreaker stretched over my butt with one of those little thin hoods that roll up in the collar done up real tight so only the wee face sticks out, turtle, turtle. Had to protect the electonics of course. Although I don't know if I'll ever be warm again or if my pants will come clean (I live on a dirt (or mud) road) but omg I felt like a Nike commerical today. Running wasn't even terribly hard today after doing that HIIT over the last week, until the last maybe, 10 minutes, when I was two inches taller on my muddy shoes and about ten pounds heavier. But I was down another half pound today, two left till goal which I hope to hit by Friday morning since I'll be without a scale for six days, and a lot of food cooked in butter. So off to the grocery store to stock up on produce and a lot of healthy snacks to get me through my mini vacation with flying colours! |
Good morning ladies!! Here we are in the last full week of June! Woohoo!! Let's do it up right! I can't believe I didn't make it online yesterday! I just stayed so busy all day long with organizing yard sale stuff and doing yard work! Last night I was exhausted, so I couldn't even convince myself to stay up long enough to come online. I definitely did not drink enough water yesterday, especially with it being so hot and humid! I think part of my tiredness was dehydration. I will make sure I drink a lot today! I'll know I'm doing the right amount if I have to run to the bathroom all day, lol!

In any event, it's hard for me to believe they didn't notice, but maybe they are just self-absorbed like that and really didn't. I wouldn't worry about not saying anything to them. And congrats, girl, on the 162.8 lbs, a loss of 3 more inches, and being SO close to the 150s!!! Tummy ~ I'm a solo kind of gal to. :lol: I love me some Harrison Ford, even these days, there is just something about him and Sean Connery. WOOHOOOHOO!!!! Somehow my week of not exercising did not have the feared negative impact. This morning's weigh-in was 272.5!!!! That's right, 272.5!!! Also known as 6.5 pounds down from my plateau, 1.5 pounds below my goal of 10 lbs for June, and totally freaking AWESOME!!!
I'll be back in the gym today before official WW weigh-in with clothing. I'm not sure about tomorrow since I'm finally getting my hair colored again. Good Morning All you Ladies. Hope everyone's weakend was great. Went to the lake on Sat and got a tan:cool: I ate those stupid pork rines this weakend and the sodium just killed me today. I did work out this weakend but the scale doesn't show. If you girls get a chance just talk to me like a drill sgt :drill: would, cause thats what I need to get moving this week. I want to lose at least 4 lbs this week. I know I can do it. I start my new job at the prison next Monday and I want to fit into a couple skirts comfortably. Hope all you ladies have a wonderful day and I'll be back to do personals after my lunch work out.:D |
