Good Morning Ladies

Happy Fathers Day! I feel kind of weird writing that as I don't believe we have any men in our challenge. Anywho, Sunday is usually my day off. The day I sleep in, the day that I just relax, be lazy and usually have a high calorie day. Well, I get up to powder my nose and of course the OCD has me weigh and I see 207.8 on the scale. :carrot: It's not a full pound down, but dangit, IT'S 207 for crying outloud. :carrot::carrot::carrot::carrot: So now I can't go back to sleep I'm so excited.

Lene ~ Looks like you do have a very busy day ahead of you. I do hope things slow down for you soon dear. :)

gekster ~ Glad you are enjoying the ondemand stuff. Sounds like you got one heck of a workout in. :bravo:

canadian ~ Yeah, it is hard to catch up at times here. This thread seems to move very fast. If ya can catch it on the weekend, it's easier. Doesn't move hardly at all on the weekends.

Glutio ~ :cheer2: on being a half a pound down. Keep it up dear! :)

So, now that I've expressed my excitement, I wonder if I can go back to sleep. You ladies have a great day ahead and keep those smiles front and center and I'll check in later.

207 is great news! I'm betting you'll be under 200 by your birthday
Ang
I too am sorry your DH will be so far away.

Today is my weigh in day & I'm down another pound.
Have 1 pound to go until I make June's goal :carrot:

Good Morning Ladies! Happy Father's Day going out to all of those hubbies out there! :)

Delphi~ Woo hoo on the panties girlie!!! :celebrate: I can totally understand not being able to go back to sleep! :) Hope you were able to get back to sleep after you posted! No such luck for me, once I'm up, I'm up.

Tummy~ :lol3: yeah, those kids are bound to drive me to drink one of these days--but not until I hit goal! ;) Didn't touch any of that beer yesterday--that was for the boys at the bbq! Sorry to hear you're throat wanted in on the action--that stinks! I hope the day off did you some good!

Looking~ sorry you missed all the cleaning fun! Hope you get a day off soon!

Jacque~ you're so right! I've done that in the past--avoided everything and then went crazy overboard because of it. Things are different this time around though--I'm not feeling the same sense of deprivation when I avoid the yummy stuff, hmm...maybe I've done that mystical thing, the one I've always heard about...maybe I've developed healthier habits! Oooh...maybe this lifestyle change stuff does work! ;)

Glutio~ Congrats on the loss! You're soooo close to your goal! Woo hoo! Hope you stayed cool at the reunion yesterday and that you had a great time! :)

Ang~ Oh hun, I'm sorry to hear your hubby is being deployed again. :( Please tell him thank you for me and that he's a brave and amazing man doing this for our country!! :) Sorry to hear about your computer as well! Ugh, nothing like a broken hard drive to drive you nuts! Good luck on the next contest! I forgot to check out that sight! Must go back and find the link! :)

Lewis~ Oh my! Poor pooch! Glad to hear she's okay! Your poor hubby, he must have felt awful! Give them both a  for us! Those bobble heads are hilarious! Oh I hope Delphi got one! :)

Jacqui~ sounds like you had a busy day! Glad my fridge gave you a giggle! I was so proud of it, I showed it off to my mil yesterday!

Gekster~ my brother & sil are in Fresno! Yeah, Fresno is a completely different place than San Diego for sure! I bet you miss San Diego a ton! Sounds like you're having a better weekend--stay with it girlie! A little splurge is okay, but don't throw all your hard work out the window!! Sounds like those workouts are fun! I've never tried the on demand ones...hmm...maybe I will! :D

Lene~ I'm exhausted reading about your busy day ahead! Whew! I hope you find a few mins to rest and that you have a ball today! :)

Susie~ Congrats on the loss girlie!! :carrot:

So it's WI & Measurement Day! Holding steady at 163 and lost another 3 inches! :broc: What's even better is that it I finally lost some in my calves and arms!! :yay: So, that brings my inches lost total to 39.25" so far! :carrot:

Yesterday was fun! No homemade cake though, so no splurging there. They did bring cookies and brownies from a bakery, but since they weren't my fil's I declined them. (I've had the brownies before and they weren't all that anyway ;)) Had some of his yummy potato salad though! Mmmm! Yummy! I made good choices and estimated the cals (because I'm too OCD not to ;)) and was just a little over my norm. I attribute that mostly to swapping a Boca burger for a regular burger--so glad I remembered that I had some! :)

Kind of miffed though. My bil & sil came over and I haven't seen them since Christmas...not a single word about the almost 40 lbs I've lost. Nothin'. I mean come on! What's a girl gotta do to get a comment for Pete's sake? I mean, first my friend, now this? My fil & mil did mention it though, but they're super sweet like that. :) Anyway, I was irritated, and although I didn't say anything or act snotty or anything, I didn't comment on their weight loss either (she lost 9 lbs and he lost 11) and for that I'm kind of ashamed. I really should have just sucked it up and said something. Ah well, it's not like we're close or anything--they never come to family functions and not only had we not seen them since Christmas--but neither have my ils! Ahh the joys of family dynamics! ;) Anyway, sorry to sound like a whiney baby, but I was just kind of bummed that they didn't seem to notice or whatever. :(

Well girls, we're headed to our nephew's Birthday party today! It was supposed to be postponed because my sil had to have her apendix out on Friday, but she's determined not to let that stop the party! Crazy nut! Should be fun for the kids and it'll be right after lunch so there'll be no temptations! :)

Hope everyone is having a great weekend!!! Be good to yourselves and say Happy Father's Day to all the Dads in your life!! And of course, be sure to...

Drink Your Water! :D

Thank you!!! I'm glad I can give back what I have gotten here. Most of the motivation and inspiration I have received on my weightloss journey came from 3FC...SO THANK YOU!!!

Yes!!! I think we have gotten the lifestyle change down!!! I like, I like!! I'm proud of you for NOT splurging!! Sometimes it is hard, but we ALWAYS feel better when we don't :D

Congrats on the 39 plus inches...NOW THAT'S IMPRESSIVE!!!

Please don't take this the wrong way, I feel bad for you that your SIL and BIL didn't acknowledge your weight loss HOWEVER like you said, you didn't say anything about theirs. Maybe they were waiting for you to say something...just like you were waiting for them to say something to you.

People can be so stupid sometimes...and maybe jealous. Just remember, it doesn't matter what others think/say....it matters what YOU think about YOU!!!!

Ms Perception 06-21-2009 08:40 AM

CMof4-I had this exact conversation about someone not mentioning the loss when I was at around 30# down. You are rocking the weight loss and some people will notice and some won't, or won't comment even if they do notice, for whatever reason. Keep on doing what you're doing! You look incredible!!

I'm leaving with the fam for DH's conference for a few days. It's so cool they let the whole family come to these. Anyway, I'll be gone for a few trying desperately do eat well while I'm gone. The exercise should be easy since we'll be at a waterpark everyday (LOTS of water slides=LOTS and LOTS of stairs!!).

iDream 06-21-2009 09:21 AM

Jacque~ Don't worry, I didn't take it the wrong way. :) I wasn't really there for the conversation about their weight loss (I was in the kitchen)--I kind of came into it at the tail end there and I should have said something, but...they were acting kind of weird anyway. My sil didn't even say hello to me and after 20 mins I finally just jumped in and started chatting with them--but it was like pulling teeth! Like I mentioned, it's a bizarre family dynamic going on--this is the couple that stopped talking to my ils for no reason at all for over a year--even neglecting to mention my sil's pregnancy and the subsequent birth of their 2nd child! We're lucky they showed up to the bbq!

MsP~ Thanks hun! :) That is cool that they let the whole family go to the conferences! Back when hubby was traveling a lot I would have loved to have gone with him! Have fun, I'm sure you'll do great foodwise and if you have a moment of weakness--remember we're here for ya! :)

Well, I'm outta here, gotta run and get showered, get a Birthday card, get everyone ready, go to a party...

Have a great day girls! :)

Delphi 06-21-2009 09:24 AM

95 degrees with a heat index of a 100 today. Good golly, it's gonna be a scorcher! At any rate, I did get back to sleep for a little over an hour, but I didn't sleep I had this awful dream about being on a vacation in a freakin' airport..WTF? Oh yeah, and someone stole my wallet, so I spent most of that vacation running around the airport looking for my wallet, which, by the way, was empty when I found it. OOOOKAY! So I get up, and OCD it to the scale to see if earlier number was a fluke...nope, now I'm at 207.4! :carrot:

Sandye ~ Alright I'm ready to go all ninja on someone. I am so sorry they didn't say anything, I know that would have made your day. But at the end of the day, YOU HAVE LOST THOSE POUNDS and YOU LOOK ALL HOT and stuff AND YOU'VE LOST ALL THOSE INCHES! Soooo, you still walk away the winner, because, well, you just emanate sunshine, coolness and your totally a super awesome lady in my book. If it helps, you can post another picture and I'll tell ya how great you look. Not to appease you, but to simply tell you the God's honest truth. You look fabulous and you continue to inspire, motivate and surprise me daily with your determination, positive attitude and your sheer will. You keep doing what you are doing Sandye. What matters is that you know, and of course we know, ;) what an awesome job you are doing. Love ya girly. Keep yer head up and don't let what others say, or perhaps what they don't say bother ya. Now get out there and enjoy that birthday party. :)

MsP ~ Have fun on your trip! Water slides sound so good. I can't wait until next summer, where for the first time since I was a kid, I can put on a swimsuit and actually go to a water park and not have it ruined by my lack of confidence. Enjoy!

PinkyPie 06-21-2009 09:53 AM

hey girls, I am so sorry I haven't made it into the thread properly this weekend! between this group, hanging with my homies in the 40's and the C25K thread, not to mention the chatting I've been doing with another friend I have here in NL (who just joined WW online! yay!) this weekend... well, I just didn't have time to come in here as well! I am reading the posts though and I so LOVE the positive energy in here!!!

my WW online w/i was this morning and to my TOTAL surprise I am down 1.9KG since last Sunday :carrot: unfreakingbelievable!! That's just a smidge over 4 lbs!!! The nicest part is that I dropped again into another KG level - I was hanging out between 88 - 89 KG for the last several weeks; this morning I weighed in at 87.7 :D

also moving right along with C25K - did W6D2 today and started the 6 week push up program today (ouch!) W1D1.

phew! I really, really hope to do some personals the next time I manage to get here!

Tummy Girl 06-21-2009 10:37 AM

Happy Father's Day Ladies!

LTBH - Work does seem to get in the way of all the important things, that's a lot of days in a row, we'll clean a little extra for you!

Glutio - I'm jumping for joy, 274! That's incredible, I'm so happy you kept on trucking and to think it was only a few days ago that you were stuck at 279!

CA - 6lbs, wow! WTG and that's a long time w/o the hubbie, How long was he gone last time?

LE - I'm glad your dog is alright, that would have been scary. But still on plan and almost at 199 too!

Delphi 06-21-2009 10:43 AM

Velveteen ~ It sounds like you are really busy. :congrat: on the dropage. :cheer: :cheer: Oh and love the new avatar as well.

As for me, I'm running out of things to do. Yesterday, I reorganized and purged my kitchen cabinets. OMGosh at all the pasta in there. So I ended up throwing away so much crap, I was able to completely clear off my stove and counters. Which believe me isn't much counter space. Then I repainted the kitchen area. Which again wasn't much. I kitchen knook is quite small, but I did it. Cleaned out my car and trunk yesterday...and today, not sure what to tackle. If I had more paint, I'd repaint my cabinets, because they have to be the original cabinets for this house when it was built in the 60's. Fuggggly! So, I have no idea. I'm supposed to be relaxing today and perhaps I will. Gonna take the boys out later to soak up some sun, so I may lay out a bit. Just wish I could put some little something on to do it in. Alas, it will be a tanktop and shorts for now.

Tummy ~ Have a great day dear!

Susie ~ I sure hope so. How are you girly? Hope your weekend was a great one. :)

Tummy Girl 06-21-2009 11:00 AM

Gekster - it's awesome how a splurge these days involves exercise and not food! WTG!

Lene - I'm thoroughly exhausted thinking about that too! Have fun and don't run yourself too ragged.

Delphi - congrats:woohoo: on that pound! You are a weight loss ninja!

Susie - :cp::cp::cp::cp: on your pound! Almost there!

CMo4 - OMG that's a lot of inches skinny mini! And poo on you bil and sil :p, that's all, some people just can't appreciate others success. Especially if they are trying to lose too, you're just blowing them out of the water. Wow appendix and still having a party? Are you sure she's not one of us? That sounds like some rockin' determination. Have a hoot!

Velveteen - :cheer2::cheer3::cheer2::cheer3: on 4 lbs, that is remarkable but a lot of hard work!! Congrats.

Felling better today, the body is fighting this for all it's worth which is new, I used to get horribly sick if someone looked at me the wrong way. I keep expecting to be bed ridden but each day is better. I did get those weights in yesterday and then my df called and suggested we go to pilates (we live in an uber small town and the pilates instructor only comes out once every 2 weeks) So I'm feeling like crap so why not, I just finished an hour of weights, lets go abuse myself. Now you know how there's always someone in a class who's sort of right out of their league? Ya well that wasn't me baby! It was last month when I went but not yesterday! I managed every single movement with one modification on a side bend so I didn't break my elbow!! Last month I culd barely do anything. So awesome, it was really exciting. Now I see where Jacque gets those arms and legs, holy I'm sore today.

But extra fun, down another pound 202! What a surprise, only 3 pounds till my happy place. Have a great day all, I know I sure will!

Delphi 06-21-2009 11:09 AM

Tummy ~ Oh wow, we are gettin it girl. Our losses and stalls seem to correlate, So KEEP IT UP THE LOSSES! Gosh I'm so darn excited for you and Le. Both of you are right on the brink of Onederland. You guys keep me a seat warm, because I'll be right behind ya. It's kind of cool were all so close. Taking the journey together. Ya know kind of like the monkeys? I have this weird visual of that monkeys video where they are doing that weird walk, singing, Hey, Hey were the Monkeys, No more monkeying around. At any rate, :congrat: on the loss and have a great day.

Tummy Girl 06-21-2009 11:32 AM

Delphi - LOL on painting, you are gonna reshingle yet. I cleaned out the truck too, vacuumed, washed windows the whole bit and then scoured the bathrooms and I dare anyone to find dirt in my kitchen! We're all gonna run out of stuff for Cleaning Frenzy Friday! I think I need to dust, tidy bedrooms today after HIIT (and a shower). LOL at the monkeys that was an awesome visual. Now I have that song in my head!

Oh and I forgot about my clothes, I ordered 6 things, 3 in an 18R and 3 in a 16R and the 18's don't fit!! So back they went and only one 16 is about 5 lbs away from being able to leave the house but everything else is great and I'll be rockin my bad self when we head to Ontario on Friday!

Happy Father's Day! Hope everyone is taking time out to celebrate the great men in their lives!

Thankyou so much for the well wishes on my dog. She is glad to be home, and doing very well (just in time for father's day). The vet said no long term damage, so we are so relieved. Ugh, yesterday was NOT fun!!!

AINT SHE A SWEETIE!!!!!

Ok girls, I am gonna go lay down and try to catch up on some sleep. Between the "hot dog" incident, and work calling me out all night long, I am feeling a little worn out!!!! Will chat later!

Biju 06-21-2009 10:49 PM

so looks like it's official...i will have 24 hour gym access for my full 2 weeks in europe!!!! i am so happy! i don't want to lose any of the tone/definition that I have worked so hard for over the past 2 months. I'm feeling better than ever and thinner that I've been in 3 or 4 years. And I can enjoy delicious food w/o feeling guilty! yayayayay!
still want to be 126 the morning of our flight, June 30th. Was 127.5 this morning so I think it can be done, as long as weird water fluctuations don't get in the way! :carrot::carrot::carrot::carrot:
