sotypical you are sooooo close and either way you kept with it, be proud :) You have a super schedule there. Congrats on a wonderful month :carrot::carrot::carrot:

Delphi (wow on the 2000 minutes chicky), tummygirl (right on), Jacqui (woohoo, wtg), gatorgirl, (so glad your ankle is better), Jacquee (awesome), newshinyme, (wtg on completing the 3o day EA : ) dang, wish I had that ea to do it with you girls, just what I need!), Icandoallthings (you did it! hope your having a lovely time in Alaska), Lewis and MsP, wtg on those miles and minutes girls! :) I kn ow I missed a lot of you and just want to say congratulations to everyone .......you girls really rock! :)

Okay, here is the scoop with me chicks. I stopped keeping my schedule recently (first time in 6 months) and it worries me. I was and am still contemplating what to do in July! Copping out now wouldn't benefit me in any way, okay muggyness aside.......you all survived right? lol. I know that often exercise and healthy eating go hand in hand. WHen you do one, you are more prone to do the other.....nothing sets a successful day quite like exercise and so it is with your inspiration and..........well....I should sign up for July and not even think about anymore.....jeesh. lol. If i ever needed a kick, it's now.....beleive me. Okay, You wil lbe seeing me over there for sure...of course i was planning to stay in the loop but not sure of a schedule. I am now thinking that getting right back to a schedule would be the wisest thing for me to do. Talk soon chickies and congrats once again :) big hug, hope you all had a super duper day! p.s- stay on me okay????

Jacqui_D 06-29-2009 09:04 PM

FSA!!!!!! Of COURSE, you have to join us in the July Exercise Challenge!!!! Were you under the mistaken impression that you had a choice?! :D J/K! Honestly, I had to back off of my exercise goals a bit. I am going from 3 strength training sessions a week to 2, from 6 days of working out to 5, and from 4 1/2 hours of cardio to 2 1/2 hours. I just knew that if I didn't, I might become discouraged because I wasn't enjoying it at all. I felt I had pressured myself into more than I felt comfortable with, so I've backed off, and now I am feeling so much better about it. I feel like I'll be exercising because I want to, not just because I have to! But it really is important to exercise, especially at our ages, so I am going to encourage you to set a goal that you feel really comfortable with and work toward it. Okay? Come join us, girlie! Let's meet some healthy lifestyle goals! :)

FullSteamAhead 06-29-2009 09:40 PM

Jacqui, I love ya babe! lol my god, I started laughing when I read that, right on! You did it for me....you rock! I know what you mean about the shedule and not setting it too high and all that........so so true, it can backfire! I'm aware of that and didn't set it too high in june as i was hovering around those minutes anyways....which leads me to ......well I got lost on a side trail chicky! lol. Awfully lonely over here! Taken everything into consideration, how I typically am in july etc., your words of wisdom, etc. welllllll okay.,I am heading over there tomorrow in our new thread...I don't have a choice  Jacqui, regarding your shedule.......oh you doing so so well and as far as cutting it back a bit, i think your very smart and intuitive..you know what your doing and your finding what works for YOU which is so right on! keep on s hining :sunny:

iDream 06-29-2009 09:43 PM

FSA~ correct me if I misunderstood you, but were you saying you needed a kick? Hmmm? Okay girlie, you asked for it so here it comes...brace yourself...ya ready? Good!:kickbutt::kickbutt::kickbutt::kickbutt::kick butt: You had enough? You know I can bust out a big 'ol can if you need more! Don't make me go all :coach::club::rollpin::drill: on ya--cuz I will!!!

And ditto what Jacqui said, like you have a choice--girl, you'd better be in July's challenge! There's no quittin'! I'll have none of it!

Seriously though, Jacqui's right, if you need to scale back your goals, then do it. I set my weight loss goal for 5 lbs instead of 10 and gave myself a day off and quit doing cardio daily--I wanted to keep enjoying it and not get sick and tired of it, kwim? Set goals you are comfortable with--but set them! You're absolutely right, now's not the time to cop out. You can do anything you set your mind to! :D

FullSteamAhead 06-29-2009 09:55 PM

ouchhhhhhhhhhh! lol crazymama.......... yeah, that's what i needed ......short of busting out that so called can you say. lolol. Thanks chicky... I feel so fortunate to have met you gals.....you really are awesome. Okay then, tomorrow i will come into july challenge and report, dare I not? lol ;) thanks kid, you take care........im so glad your mom is coming :) we will chat soon. I hope you all do something fantastically super for yourselves (being healthy is numeron uno of course or taking care of ones health) but I so hope that you reward yourselves in some wonderful ways. Everyone has worked so hard and made such great strides....
