Yesterday was a bust. Didn't exercise unless you count major shopping. Had McDonald's with the kids, cheetos, bar, and then beer. It was worth every fat gram because we had an awesome family day! Plus, NSV for me- a smaller size pant. Those pants aren't gonna fit if I don't get me arse out the door and me mouth shut!

Nursie- I was thinking we set a group goal of 15-20 and see how it goes. I loved your idea about a chat room earlier in the week. Wouldn't it be neat if we had a night a week where we could have a gab?

Gotta run get the laundry out

Oooooh oooooh! Pick me! pick me!!!

I had this idea to google search on how to make your own chat rooms and I think I created one for us. Let's see if this link works.

http://www.chatmaker.net/chatap/rooms/W.O.W.%20Chat!/

Then in the left lower corner where it says you are guest #53242 just click on it and make it say your name.

If it works I'll link it in my siggy. Now we just need to set up dates/times to meet up. Or I'll just pop in and out whenever I log on.

Off to check it. xo Michelle

It works! Its works!!!

It also looks like if you type something in(like I wrote "test"), then leave, and come back, the first thing you wrote saves on there(the second time I popped in there, the "test" was still there)...so if you pop in the chat room and no one is there, still go ahead and write something and we'll see it next time we pop in there.

Did any of that make sense?

LOL I was just so tickled that it worked! xo Michelle

I'll plan to be on tomorrow around 8a-9a (my usual time) and maybe after 12n ish?

Wow I miss a day and so much has happened. My weekend is like a runaway train. Even now I only have a few moments to post before running out the door again. I have been getting my workouts in and TRYING to get the calories in. With all this running around it hard. I am already behind for today. Better go eat.

Good new is I have busted out of the 190's, at least temporaily. 189.4 two says running. I just hope and pray that keep going for me.

Michelle- So nice to hear one of your marathon posts. And what a great attitude you have. Sounds like things are really looking up for you. As far as that cream goes, who the H*** knows. I keep blaming my age and pre-menopause on all my troubles. then I see how Helen (47) on BL looks , and I need to just shut my mouth.

Grazer and MM- I always lump the 2 of you together in my head. You are just my other halves. Keep working girls and keep the spirits up. We can meet our goals.

Jeni- Glad you had a fun family day. Everybody needs that once in a while. Life gets in our way sometimes. Happy truck hunting.

Gonna check out that chat room later. Any ideas when people want to meet up there??? Gotta run. Need to go to some benefit thingy my ex-hubbie is playing in. Another time killer.

Adding one more thing- Michelle, come on over to the summer BL challenge. I'm there and probably some other people you know. Everyone is welcome, sign-ups are just now happening. that goes for everyone.

Good Morning Ladies

I hope everyone is having a wonderful Sunday. It is supposed to be nice and hot today so I think my daughter and I are going to go swimming. I know the TOM is going to be approaching soon because I feel all blah. I am craving salt and sugar. ugh.

I kind of did OK this weekend with the eating but dug into a nice piece of chocolate cake.. oh and soda as well...but no more for me because I don't want to gain the 6 pounds lost. It is easier putting it back on then taking off the pounds..LOL

mtiger
- When TOM visits it is very hard to keep up with the calories...but you are doing great...just keep moving forward...don't dread...you can do it. I can't wait until I am in the Onelander. Keep running..because soon you will reach the finish line

Grazer
- That sounds GREAT....what is the challenge? I am looking forwarded to it. You just reminded me I have to do my laundry too.

NurseMichelle
- I am doing a lot better and the bruising is healing.I wish I thought of that chat idea...that is brilliant..I agree I think that would be really cool What is a good time for everyone?

jcatron243
- I am glad you had a great family day. With everything going on in your life the ups and downs you deserve fun time too. Things will get better. I agree life is a roller coaster. You are a very strong person, and always remember that.

Cheers~

I posted this morning before church, but I guess it got lost.
Was a kind of good, kind of not weekend. Had a great weekend, did awful at the bake sale, better at the Pasta Dinner at church last night.

This morning, after church, I went grocery shopping and got what I need to be OP and happy for the week.

Grazer, I like the group goal idea.

Mindy, keep at it.

NM, that chat idea idea sounds great, will keep looking to see if I can catch you all there!

Hi guys.

We looked for trucks but WANT $$ for a good down payment to keep my payments low. so without financing what we saw today will probably be gon tomorrow. Oh well we will keep searching.

OH and add another piece of rotten luck. My microwave is broken. Yep can you believe it. so not only do I not have a microwave, but no toaster either (since they are in one unit). Back to the store.

I tried to go for a run today at the track but the kids weren't going for it I got in 3/4 of a mile. Cals are going OK.

girls!

I hope you all had a great weekend. Mines was wonderful, my monthly weekend off. Of course, I have to go to work tomorrow so I'm starting to feel like crap. Will July hurry up and get here?!

I finally did my inital test for both the push up and squat challenges. I won't try the situp challenge again, too painful. I want to find somewhere to take some cheap swim lessons, I want to learn how to at least float before my trip back home.

Nessa and Tony left today for their vaca so I have the house to myself. Bring on the strippers! Oh, did I type that outloud?

BIG ! I love you guys.

Are we going to set a group weight loss goal for this week?

If we're going to try to chat, evenings are better for me.

For today:

W- drink it
E- mindful
E- cardio
D- step away from the ice cream

JCat- people say it comes in threes. Hopefully, the microwave is the end of your bad luck for awhile.

Happy Monday!

Hi everybody. Long time no see. So good to see sooo many familiar "faces" still here. I am soooo going to try to check in with you all every single day!!! I am really hoping that this summer is going to find me getting smaller and smaller again. I did the best thing i could possibly do for myself....i rejoined my gym. Well...i rejoined the gym. I have been going to the local Family Y here in my town instead of the one i used to go to when i had a job. But i have found classes there that i really love also. My teenage daughter and my two little girls have been going to excersize classes also, and they love it. I go for at least 2 hours a day...everyday. I've lost no weight yet....but that's because i just started Tuesday and my body is so sore!!! lol. There are so many different classes that i want to take. I have tried Pilates, Power Pilates Kickboxing, Body Fusion and worked out on the elliptical and treadmill and weights. Next week we are trying the Strength class, Zumba, BellyRok and Step...on top of the other classes i have already tried. I am also trying to eat healthy again. I finally made my broccoli cheese casserole that only has 108 calories per serving and drinking my water again. I think that by July 4th...i could be in the high 140's. I'm going to shoot for 148.
