thanks for the tip gatorgirl6. I hear when mean about denying yourself. I'm the same way, can't get my mind off the snack so I eat several different things I think would be better then end up eating the "bad" snack later anyway. I'm also going to try to drink water in the afternoon as opposed to alcohol or pop to avoid empty cal so I can have a small slice of dessert! Did a 20 min workout this morning but really had to fight the urge to stop before the DVD was done. How's everyone else doing?

As for the YBB, it's fun but challenging. I feel it muscles today so I just did the YBB warmup then switched to pilates. I'm going to attempt the full YBB workouts on Tues, Thurs and Sat.

I would love to join in if you don't mind. I have a Thanksgiving challenge and would love to start the xmas one also.

I am going to go for 20 lbs. by Christmas.

I am calorie counting (1400) and doing the Treadmill in the am and wii fit in the pm.
I am also using a pedometer to incease my steps every day.

Here's to the holidays and the smaller chicks we will be when we get there.

I was scared to step on the scale this morning after my anniversary last week plus Cdn Thanksgiving on Sunday but I did and I've lost 4 pounds! I'm very happy about that because I did allow myself treats but tried to keep up on the water and exercise. Thanks for all the support girls. Good luck to everyone else.

Hmm, this challenge looks pretty good. I am going some place tropical in January or February (Philippines or Thailand... or both!) and the lowest I've ever weighed on a beach vacation was 150 lbs.

SW - 165
GW - 144

If I'm 144 by Christmas, I could be in the 130s by vacation time. I might even wear a bikini! Okay, probably not.

Right now I'm on Day 10 of the 30 Day Shred. It seems to be working, TOM aside. I've cut out some of my bad foods but I think I need to go a little further. Those of us on the Shred thread seem to be losing inches, but not much weight. What exercises or diet ideas have helped you guys lose lbs consistently? I know it's probably better to lose 21 inches than 21 lbs but I still want my scale to move!

what's a healthy BMI number? And what's the 30-day shred? Losing inches sounds great. Did anyone take their measurements before they started? I didn't because it usually gets me depressed. I generally just go by how my clothes fit. When my pants start to fall off my hips I'll know I've lost inches!!
