I'm not good about posting on weekends. This one was very busy. Got a ton of stuff done around the house on Saturday. Hubby had to work, so sunday we hung out together and went out to eat. We went to Mongolian BBQ. I ate pretty good, veggies and chicken.

Sunday was also day off. No workout. Back at it today. Did about 70 minutes. I thought scale would go down about at least a pound but it went up, .75 then down .5 and then up again .5. I don't get it at all. I sure sweated alot and eating was on track. Actually maybe too low again on the calorie scale. I'm stumped. Even if I am low, with the kind of sweating I've been doing, I would expect more.

I'm not discouraged though, I'll just keep goin on, and maybe try adjusting calories. I feel more toned and have more energy. Well not today so much. Mondays are not my favorite day of the week!

Instead of taking Sunday off, I did a 45 min jog, so I took today, Mon off. I've been a bit exhausted so it helped I think. I'm reading a lot of books, and most say don't go below 1200 calories but if you are working out like this you likely need at least 1400-1500 or your body will do the opposite of what you want! BUT then again you are trying to lose the final 10-15 pounds and this is a "different game" then those who are way overweight losing a lot. I lost another lb but I'm happy with one lb a week at this point, I've lost 2-3 so far in Feb. Even at 1 a week I'll lose 7 more lbs in two months, maybe 6 weeks I HOPE. And then I'll try to get down more by training harder and EATING CLEAN. I'm very proud of my CLEAN diet, CLEAN FRIDGE...

I take back my "day off yesterday"... I did 20 min or so of yoga and some walking later in the evening.

Also I did 30 min of light jogging this morning on my bouncer, I usually don't exercise in the morning but I'm testing to see if I'll have more energy throughout the day if I get some exercise in first thing, also I think revving up the metabolism before working at a desk might help. Already I'm feeling better then usual, I'm NOT a morning person.

I wish I was the type that jumped up and did a good workout first thing in the morning. I go to bed thinking I can do that, but when out alarm goes off at 5:30 I'm like, NOT. hehe

I have a friend that gets up every morning at 4-4:30 and goes to the Y before work. UGH!

Well, I'm off to get my workout in before american idol comes on. Its the only show i really follow on a reg basis. Glad I'm not a TV junky or I'd never workout.

I work at home, so I don't "really" start working until 9-10 am so that's why I can make time to workout in the am's, before I never did, this is a "new" thing for me. I'm glad because I have to stay up half the night to meet a deadline, there's no way I'd have the energy tonight, other then I did walk/play with my boy 20 min or so. Tomorrow I'll do weights again, been doing too much cardio lately. My clothes are fitting better with this "bootcamp..." I'm taking one day at time as I wish I could lose more, quickly. Just one meal at a time, one exercise session, and trying not to look at the scale although I slipped and did today, of course that was after I drank a huge deal of water. I don't see how weight can go up 2-3 lbs during the day, I know better then getting on other then first thing in the am. Not going to look until next Mon am... And I"m going to workout all week.

How's it going? I have to figure out how to keep my eating/exercise plan when I'm on deadlines for my business, there's a week when my work is very intense. Will be doing 45 min for YOU and ME the rest of the month! I think it's the only way to get the rest of this weight off, 30 min isn't going to do it! My clothes are getting loose, yeah, and I'm feeling better already. What did you do today? I'm going to work out later this evening, am off to a meeting.

Did about 45 m in dvd Tanktop Arms, Boy Short Bottoms. Seemed easy to me which means I'm GETTING IN SHAPE. I will progress to Cathi, Amy Bento and other more advanced weight training dvd's soon.

30 min jog last night, 15 min upper body weights workout.

I'm down another lb. Actually from Jan 25 I'm down 6 lbs, YES. For me revving up exercise and cutting calories seems to work within a month or two.

Today I'll do a 30 min jump rope routine, I'm taking some exercise plans from the gogabby.com site, Gabriele Reese, isn't she cool. I'm tall and bigger boned like her, also a former volleyball player. I ordered some of her weight training dvds too.

It's Feb 26th and our challenge is almost over, just a few more days left... how did you guys do? Should we start a March bootcamp? I want to get down 5 more lbs, then another 10, but I'm planning on building up another 3-5 lbs in muscle doing some heavier weight training to tone/body sculpt too.

It sort of helped to think in terms of "boot camp"... wish I hadn't gotten sick for a week or so as I think I could have lost another few lbs this month. Either way, I'll finish up my bootcamp next month - at least 30-45 min cardio per day, 5-6 days per week and three days at least of weights, rather then whole body I'm going to do split routines.
