I always do this to myself!! It's 2 days befor ethe official weekly weigh in - and I binged at my lunch meeting.. but dang it Red Robin is just SOOO good! I'm still under calories - I just have to have a very light dinner... Oh well I suppose I'll live through this. :)

I know I joined this challange....I'm still plugging away. Still no movement but I'm trying to at least keep up with the exercise. I find I have no trouble keeping my eating in check but what I really need is to exercise.

Lehika, your numbers stagger me. I hope next year to be exactly where you are. Keep it up, you are doing great. But maybe, your body has found it's happy place. :D

Well after 2 days of binging before my weekly weigh in - I've self sabotaged again. I'm only down #1 this week. Grrr.. :mad: It's annoying because I saw #180 this week, but alas on Sunday when it count - I'm at #182. I gues it could've been a TON worse!
New focus this week... need to STOP sabotaging my good work. I do GREAT up until Wednesday. At least I'm still losing, right? |

I agree - but ugh - I wish I could've kept it up. i'm not sure what's going on this week - other than lack of exercise. i did some yoga for about 15 mins last night - but I was too tired to continue. Tonight I'm going to do my exercise FIRST before I start working. i can't wait for this month to be over with!
I was #184.4 yesterday, and #183.6 today... not happy. :( I hate that. i really really wanted to beat my goal early - but unless something drastic happens this week - I'll be lucky to hit it by goal! AHHH!!! |

Lasik went fine! It was freaky but they give you a valium and numb your eyes. The procedure took about 60-90 seconds per eye. Afterwards, though, I was in stinging pain, tearing, light sensitivity for several hours until I finally fell asleep after taking a couple of Tylenol PMs. Now i keep thinking i need my glasses (well, i still do for reading/computer) or i must have my contacts in...wierd. Lumi, 135 - WoW!! that's tremendous! :carrot: MotherMavis, a facial is a wonderful reward! Congrats on the 140s!! Leeza, I hear ya on the inconsistencies of calorie counting! The weekend started off too high for weight loss but I'm back in control! Hope you are too. Eny, I hope you blow by January's goal too!!! And, yes, you are still loosing!! You can do it! I'm hanging in there! Had some really good workouts lately. Although calories were high for Fri and Sat., calories these last two days were 1670 and 1430. I'm on track with meals planned for the rest of today too. That scale is goin' DOWN!! |
Angeline, Are you glad you had it done? Is it worth it? I have been thinking about it for a couple years, just not sure yet.

Darby, I haven't made the facial appt yet, too many kids things and I have NEVER had a facial, so I wanted to ask my friend at work if I should ask for a specific person and I got the name, so hopefully today or tomorrow! Great job on the loss! I'm getting a new old treadmill tonite, I can't wait!! It's new to me. |
ooops, my last post might have been confusing - i do not wear my contacts now...it sometimes feels like i have them in though = slightly itchy/dry (especially at the end of the day).
MM - yes i'm very happy that i had it done. i only wish i would've done it 15 years ago! "is it worth it?" well that's a loaded question. i think it was however, i didn't go to a "lasik mill" so it was pretty expensive. for my eyes, i had the option to only have 1 eye done, which would've been cheaper, and leave one eye alone. supposedly this would've allowed me to read and drive without any kind of glasses. i tried it for about a week with one contact in and one out but couldn't handle it. it was very scary driving and i couldn't get the hang of reading. just got back from a good workout on the treadmill. 3.5 miles!! |
Girls - GUESS WHAT!! I'm back on track! I've eaten great so far this week - I've gotten 2 work outs in - and I'm back down to #180.4 I'm very excited. :) I'm hoping that this week it works! I have a lunch meeting tomorrow - but I should be good. Just keep passing :dust: my way!

Hi there! I'm a newbie!! I get very motivated reading everyone's progress. I too, want to hit my first goal by April 3, my 9th wedding anniversary. That goal is to lose 60 lbs before that date. Down 17 so far.

Well I've decided to jump into this challenge. It's way late, but I'm a newbie! :) I have two goals. The first of which is to be down 35lbs by Spring Break and for me is in the middle of April we'll just go by April 15th. The second would be to be able to run a mile in under 9 minutes which would mean I would have to shave 4 minutes off it now. I'll do weekly weigh ins and a weekly running test where I give it my all and see how it comes out! My day to weigh in will be Thursdays like today.. haha I'm at 203.4 right now. 1less....welcome also. Sounds like you are off to a great start!!! My weigh in day is on Friday...because i don't have internet at home and i can't wait until mondays. So...keep your fingers crossed that I am at 134 again tomorrow...(if not 133!!!) Hope everyone else is doing great!!!! Time to get off work now. Talk to you all tomorrow!!! |
