Thanks guys! Now the question is how do I go from eating very healthy (about 1200 calories give or take) with very little processed food, to eating for two. I'm just afraid of using the baby as an excuse to go back to old eating habits.

But I've been craving pizza for 6 months, so I may just get my chance to have some this week. mmmmmm....... pizza........ But the key will be to eat in moderation and to make up for splurges with healthier eating days. Sounds like I need to check out the Maintainers forum. Didn't think I'd be checking out that forum for awhile. :)

I bet, with your new eating habits, that you are very observant about what you gain and you'll give birth to a beautiful , healthy baby and not have an extra 50 pounds to lose (like I did :o) I was very surprised that with the birth of a 8lb boy all 65 of those pounds I gained didn't just fly away!

Seriously though, talk to you Dr about what you need to take in and have a slice of pizza once I a while.

Hi Ladies,
How's everyone doing? We still have a few weeks until spring break. Well, I don't. I think mine is the week after next. I don't get to do anything fun; I have 3 papers to do !

I have been a bit better about eating right and exercising. I really need to work harder at it, though. I just wish I could get the same motivation I had in the fall. I'm going to keep plugging away at it, though.

So, how are you all doing?

I know the challenge is over...

but I'm sheepishly checking back in to see how everyone did. Sorry for bailing!

Tho I've not been on the boards, I've been walking for an hour almost every day, pushing my boys in the stroller. I just weaned my little one, and figured I'd try Atkins to get off the remaining pesky pounds. I've done this once before, pre-little ones, and though I don't think I'm an Atkins lifer, it helped to get a chunk off and switch my focus to maintenance. So far, so good!

Thanks to everyone for prior support - I hope you're doing well, and look forward to seeing you around the boards!

Leeza
