So far so good for me today. For snack I had 1/4 cup of walnuts and that seemed to hit the spot. Nightime is the worst I need to think of something to keep myself busy tonight.

Okay, day two going well -- but I've been drinking water whenever I want my junk food -- I think my internal organs are beginning to float!!! But, I guess (within reason) you can't have too much water but you can have too much junk food!!!

well done ladees, keep it up!!

Instead of having cheese on my sandwiches yesterday I had a WHOLE avocado split between lunch and dinner. EEK!!! I think that has 26grams of fat or something, when my daily intake should be like 10....oops. I will have to find something other than butter, cheese and avo to make my sandwiches edible!!! I wonder if cheese "flavoured" crackers would be aloud?

I am making it okay. tired and grouchy, but that's to be expected. I finished up the last of the chips I bought yesterday just to get them out of the house. other than that i've had a ton of water and that's about it. not good i know but there's a limited amount of 'okay' foods here right now and payday's tomorrow.

chimichanga -- try not eating the WHOLE avocado... eating 1/2 of it in a day should be okay, just use 1/4 of it to make each meal 'edible.' avocadoes have lots of good oils in them, so I wouldn't be scared of eating it.... just maybe not the whole of it!

I like how most people put their resolution in their signatures. Makes it easy to match the posts with the 'not-allowed' food! And shows solidarity We're in this together!

So I had a weird moment last night where I realized that I'm not allowed to have fast food or restaurant food until Lent is over.... And immediately I HAD to go get fast food. IMMEDIATELY. I had this buring DESIRE to go and just violate my resolution and ruin the first day.

Luckily, I took a breath and went to a bookstore instead Weird, though, the immediate impuls that almost took me the instant I remembered I wasn't allowed........

No forseeable problems with Day 2 either, looks like 2 days down, 38 to go (or 44... or whatever the math with the Sundays adds up to! No cheat days for me!)

I wouldn't be surprised if you're getting withdrawl symptoms from art. sweetener if it's something you've had a lot of consistently. Makes you glad you're stopping for a while, huh?

This is going to be very hard for me, but no fast food. I am not going to pick more than one, because I will probably not do it...but yeah. No fast food. -tear-

Day 2 down, and all's going great! I am so happy about this challenge, because I was starting to get a little discouraged with myself. But, having this accountability has made me feel positive again! Keep up the good work everyone, old habits are hard to break!

So far so good.

There's a really tempting piece of cake hiding in the fridge calling my name... But I'm gonna head downstairs and forget about it.

Man. One day in and I'm already wishing I'd given up something besides sugar.

In honor of living more actively I want to give up television...I will watch televison if its part of a social activity and movies with a limit of 2hrs a day on DVD are okay (not giving up my netflix). But no spending my weekends wathcing Bravo re-runs and eating my dinner in front of Scrubs.

I wish everyone else luck
